“Neighborhood bakery. I first learned about Traub's through a cousin for their cakes. Absolutely delicious! That was over 15yrs ago! I learned a few weeks ago the name changed. The name may have changed but the products still taste devine. Don't go as often for health reasons but when I'm craving some bakery sweets, this is a go-to!!!!!

Parking: They have a small parking lot bit since customers are in and out, finding a spot shouldn't be too hard.“

“Mighty Bread has attained elite status. It is the best bakery-cafe you’ll find in Philly, no question, and one of my favorite spots. This gem slings stellar pastries, sandwiches, and kale salad (add turkey and soft boiled eggs). The focaccia is probably #1 in Philly, and served alongside dreamy whipped ricotta.

Favorite sandwiches lately: breakfast sandwich with bacon and/or mushroom, turkey caesar hoagie, Italian hoagie, tozzino, and prosciutto, pesto, & mozz.

They slay on a Monday, but be sure to go on a weekend for the Scrambo Platter and whatever exceptional specials they’ve got going on. The staff are kind, patient, and helpful. Lines get loooong but move at a reasonable pace. Whatever you get, you can’t go wrong!“

“Gina makes the BEST rosemary cheddar scones you will ever find! All the treats in the shop are so tasty and baked with love, but the scones are outstanding! Gina and her staff are so sweet and friendly, that the “Sweets” of their Sweets on Darby name refers as much to the people as it does to the delightful pastries she bakes. “My husband is dairy free so I’m always looking for good dairy free/vegan bakeries. We ordered a personal size gender reveal cake from Batter and Crumb and the entire experience was great! While I was waiting to get the results from the doctor I changed the order date and couple of times and they were very accommodating. The cake was not only beautiful but SO delicious! Definitely the best vegan cake I’ve ever had! I also picked up some bakery items while in the store and they were very tasty as well! We will definitely be using them for our future cake needs!“

“My daughter turned 4 this year and needed a cake to celebrate her birthday in Philadelphia. I’m a bakery owner in New York so naturally I’m a high cretic for cakes and only wanted the best. I reached out to Ashley and she was so nice , thorough and listed to all I needed for my daughter’s birthday. We ended up buying a three tier cake with all the big and small details my daughter wanted and was so shocked to see the end result, my mouth dropped. Not only did she do what I asked for but she even went above and BEYOND with the design. It was so BEAUTIFUL!!!! When I picked up the cake it was ready to go . My daughter was so shocked and amazed. It was neat, I got what I wanted plus more and well packaged. Now the TASTE! OMG we ordered cookie butter and IT WAS SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOD. Moist with just the right amount of sweetness. All my guest were asking for more and I even had it for breakfast. I’m 100000 % satisfied with my order . Thank you soooo much . Also the peach cobbler soooooo good. It tastes like chicken at first glance, but it looks like gluten when you eat it seriously, but overall it’s delicious.Phillywide $12 It’s delicious with beyond sausage and the eggs are pretty real too!202209There are no bakeries in this area. This opening makes me grizzly excited!I didn’t look at the details carefully, but buying two scones, two muffins, a biscuit sandwich and two bagels totaled $23, which I thought was a good deal! There are also many types of pastries and bagels. Many of the items are vegan. I really like them. The pastries are delicious. Everything and the salt+rosemary bagels taste a little salty to me.“

“This place is a hidden gem Moochie donuts are delicious. Macaroons are to die for! I take my kids here at least once a week to get a treat because they’re literally addicted to it and so am I. Parking: $.25 for 20 minutes should be enough for you to get your treat and get back to your car. There is a parking lot across from the plaza that you can park your car there too.“

Their menu items often change, incorporating new and exciting ideas often. Some yummy ones that I tried are tiramisu, pavlova, caramel cheesecake, pumpkin cheesecake, fruit tarts, and more! They also offer unique beverages such as a hibiscus flavored lemonade and a minty sprite. Not to mention they also offer crepes which I have yet to try but I bet they’re delicious.“

“Stopped by the Swedesboro location for the first time today. I showed up 10 minutes after they opened and there were only a few cupcakes left. Basically sold out within 15 minutes of opening. That’s how you know they’re good! I got a Lucky Charm cupcake and a chocolate cupcake. But those weren’t all I went for… I got an assortment of 12 macarons. So far I have only tried 1- the blood orange. It was fantastic! The staff member working was very kind & helpful. I cannot wait to go back. If you are to go make sure you go early. Get there before they open or within a half hour of them opening. Their products go fast! It was well worth the trip. I look forward to visiting again soon!“

Since then, I myself have sent them to so many family and friends. Here are my top reasons for loving this company: 1. Their chocolate chip cookies are seriously so amazing! I’m lactose intolerant so I come here for the vegan soft serve every time I have a craving (best sundae’s ever, although they’re def more expensive than dairy sundae’s but I’m cool with that bc of how good it is) ANYWAYS, I was in need of a last minute birthday cake, and everything I’ve had here has been good so far, so I trusted their cakes were no different. I WAS SO RIGHT. None of the people eating this cake are vegan or having allergies besides yummy troubles from dairy, and this was hands-down, THE BEST CAKE we collectively have ever had! We said the moisture level was like that of a cake pop. The sweetness level was perfect, not too sweet or bland. And I’m the only one with a sweet tooth, but all of us went back for second and third slices after a big dinner because it was addicting good!! While you will be paying more than a regular grocery store cake, it’s pretty standard boutique bakery prices, and it is WELL WORTH IT. “I lived in Seattle for almost two decades and will admit to being a bit of a coffee shop snob. The Nook hits so many of my high points. Extremely good locally roasted coffee (in-house!). Amazing baked goods. The cocoa coffee bread must be tried, but leave me a slice! Great staff. If I ever move out of the neighborhood, I'll journey to the Nook for a great cup and bite.“
