When I toured the venue, I had the pleasure of meeting Justin, and he is truly one of the kindest, most professional, and well-spoken business owners I’ve ever worked with. Brenda was also amazing—she helped set up the night before, listened to every detail of my vision, and executed it beautifully. They absolutely nailed every aspect of my bridal shower. There wasn’t a single request they couldn’t accommodate, and the food was absolutely incredible. The event staff was on top of everything the entire day, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Justin and his team went above and beyond, exceeding my expectations in every way. I will definitely be back for future events and highly recommend Just in Thyme to anyone looking for an exceptional venue and catering experience!“

“Trip to Butler for motorcycle related business. Googled for a restaurant and decided on this one. Wise choice!! Had the nachos for an app, I had the club with French onion soup, hubby had the Buffalo wrap. Both had PB Chocolate lasagna for dessert. Can't say enough. Food and service were tremendous!!! We have leftovers as you can see.“

“I was pleasantly surprised. My husband got two of the specials - beef vegetable soup (which tasted very close to my home made beef vegetable soup) and the DK mushroom Swiss burger. I had the battered onion rings and western burger. So much food, I took home left overs. And it was absolutely delicious.The service was great, friendly and personable.The restaurant was very cute, small and clean.I didn't enter the bar, but I might go back to check that out.“

“I initially planned to use the app for my order, but they don’t offer Apple Pay, so I headed to the store instead. The service I received from the girl there was exceptional. She not only helped me get exactly what I wanted, but also generously provided extra brown gravy. Although I had intended to eat the baked potato that night, I ended up saving it for the next day, and it was just as delicious reheated. I went with the Mile High Meatloaf, and it was truly satisfying. The meatloaf was bursting with flavor, and the addition of brown gravy enhanced the overall taste.“

“Always good, but salad bar is too expensive for what you get, and the plates are too small. Some people only want to go up once but put more on their plate.
If you only order a side salad you don't get many offerings. Also,why does your whipped cream taste like soap? It's not good.“

“The Crossbow is a great atmosphere to have some food, some drinks, and relax. The bartenders are all very friendly and prompt. The owners put their money into the business to better accommodate the customers. Brand new bathrooms in the bar side, and new renovations were done to the bowling side as well. Prices for food and drink are great! It’s a drama free establishment, and I highly recommend it to anyone!“

“I usually hate karaoke night but honestly it really was not that bad. It was wing night also which made it nice, one of the reasons for one star missing, it's not their fault it's the price of wings these days! But the food was awesome, the people were wonderful and the crowd was amazing! I definitely will be there again the food is great! The nice part about it, is the fact that they have a bowling alley attached to the bar side so that you can have a drink and eat while you're bowling making it very kid-friendly! There is also plenty of other things for the young kids to do like games ski ball etc. Also there is a pool table for adults I believe it was a dollar? Which is almost unfounded these days.

Vegetarian options: You can figure it out it's not that tough. Although if you are funny about things being fried together, that might be another story.

Dietary restrictions: Being a chef for 18 years, I know it's not that hard when people tell you I need something vegetarian. Also depending on how strict you are on your preferences, just tell them that you would like prep or whatever cleaned off before they prep your food.

Kid-friendliness: The bar area is separate from the bowling and gaming area.

“When we come to town to see the grandkids in Butler, this is usually our go-to joint, this time was all right. Our server was a little lacking, however, though one of the other servers really stepped up her game and helped us out when we needed something. I would give the food five stars. However, though they used to have a salad and soup combo on their menu and they no longer do so, I got the French dip with a side of french onion soup which the sandwich was great. However, though the French onion soup look like they microwaved it because the cheese wasn't golden brown like it used to be out of a salamander, the kids food was good. Overall, the experience is okay. It is an Applebee's but I do expect better from our locals when we come to town. Us being from North Carolina. The one here in Fuquay Varina is exceptional and the food is always good“
