“I took my husband to the tavern for his birthday since we were visiting Strasburg and he loves a good reuben. He had the reuben and I had the Smash burger. We travel and have dined out a lot from fine dining to food trucks and I can definitely give the Spring House Tavern 5 solid stars! We’ve had Primanti Brother’s and didn’t give them 5 stars… Besides the entree, we enjoyed the pretzels and, of course, beer! The waitress was attentive but not hovering, the bartender checked in on our drinks and the overall atmosphere was clean and comfortable (no sticky floors or crumby tables). It’s a gem in downtown Strasburg and definitely worth a go!“

“My wife and I have eaten at Gibraltar many times and have always been impressed with the food and service. Last night my wife's fish entree was somewhat over-cooked (something we have never experienced at Gibraltar) and when she shared this information with the waiter, he immediately offered my wife another meal. Then the owner came out and apologized for any inconvenience. I am impressed with the level of customer service and they exceeded our expectations.“

“It gives you straight-up old roadside diner in the atmosphere department, but the food is absolutely phenomenal. I enjoyed a really delicious omlette that came in a great portion with delicious shredded potatoes and fantastic bacon. I was quite impressed with the food and the service was great too. They have a giant pancake I want to try next. It's bigger than the plate.I'm already planning my return. If you're looking for classic diner eats and breakfast to die for, try this spot for sure. It's a PA gem.“

“My husband & I love your food, decor, staff & clientele! We were here in 2017 after attending a family wedding and decided to return because we were in Lancaster for a concert and wanted a good breakfast on Saturday before heading home. It was just as good as we remembered! Additionally, a lovely young couple sitting next to us with their two small children added a heartwarming touch by paying for our meal. A totally unexpected and treasured memory was made. God bless this young generous couple. We felt the love that your family friendly restaurant encourages. See you soon, I hope!“

“This is a small spot on the intersection of Prince Street and West Liberty. I love how they keep their menu simple with your burgers, chicken, cheesesteaks and shakes. It may be simple but they do a fantastic job with their product. Their cheeseburgers are a must grab. You know it’s a good burger when the outer edges have that slight crispiness. Honestly, one of the better burgers in the entire area. I also really enjoyed the onion rings. Nice and crispy, and the onion doesn’t all come out with a single bite. It was also packed, so you know it’s a good spot for some easy grub.“

“Well done!!This place is awesome. The food was delicious, the ice cream… delicious-er.The staff needs to be cloned and sent to every restaurant on earth. They were patient, helpful, and genuine. And the elegant simplicity of the decor was welcoming and endearing.I’ll go the 15 miles out of the way to get to this place again!“

“Our group loved sitting in the sun room. Most popular entrees were Steak Skewer Wedge salads, Jamaican Jerk Salmon, Spicy Shrimp Noodle Bowl and Cedar-Roasted Salmon. A little disappointed with Grilled Peruvian-Style Half Chicken. Enjoyed the Thai Beef Skewers, and Caputo Brother's Whipped Ricotta appetizer. Group did not care for the shredded Chicken in Peruvian Chicken Lettuce Wraps. Overall we had a great dining experience and we all agreed we would return.“

“A true delight in the Lancaster area!! The Greenfield Restaurant accommodated our very large party for a business dinner a few months ago. No flaws, and exceptional service. A classy, homey restaurant. Drinks- great! My gauge is always if a place knows how to make my drink signature- a dirty martini with Bombay Sapphire. No vermouth here to be found, it sipped lovingly!!! And for food, after many apps, entrees and desserts with all of our 14, I don't think there was a plate left uncleared. We had the upper, private dinner area. Our server was exceptional- attentive, timed check-ins and orders well taken and delivered. Food was paced appropriately and brought all together - for that many people and when a configuration of stairs is involved for kitchen and bar this is no small feat. For the group, much of the menu was tackled. No complaints whatsoever. Probably the unsung hero of apps was the house smoked salmon dip. Entree favorites were the pork schnitzel and scallops. Homemade spaetzle made those with the pork so happy. Thin, crispy, a beautiful plate with accompaniments. The scallops - Who doesn't love a meal with inspiration? Scallops.....and beech mushrooms! Give Me More!!! Delicious, quirky and unexpected. THIS will be readapted as inspiration. And dessert, I hardly ever eat dessert. But when hearing they had a salted caramel ice cream. Yes and yes! Perfect, creamy ending. Through consistency in service and flavorfulness in food The Greenfield Restaurant should be a Lancaster staple and deserves filled seats for a long time to come!!!“

“I had a wonderful solo experience here at the bar! Food was excellent, the wine was delicious and the staff was super friendly and engaging. I had a lovely conversation with a woman I met at the bar who turned out to be the chef’s girlfriend and got to meet him too. Such a lovely couple and his skills in the kitchen are amazing! I have come here for brunch as well and no matter what you order you will not be disappointed! Highly recommend!“
“Love this place! I shop here regularly for ready to heat meals. Choose raw beef and poultry, deli meats, their own sausages and smoked meats, or prepared foods, homemade pizzas, soups, or baked goods, and now produce. They even have cheese curds, ginger root, and sandwiches.“

“Was in the area and wanted to find a local lunch spot and came across this gem that I will absolutely be returning to! For starters, I loved how quaint the place is, as it just has that cozy small town restaurant feel… I had the grilled roast beef and cheese sandwich with sauerkraut and thousand island and that was delicious. I also LOVED the pickle soup! Didn’t have room for ice cream my first round, but I will make sure I do for my second! Lovely place!“

“Nice small restaurant with good service and tasty food. It's be aware that the subs are made like the Amish do them and you should ask specifically for what you want on your sub or ask what they put on the subs before you order them! Prices are family friendly as well.“

“Head manager we love your establishment but seriously experienced the worst service! We waited over a half an hour for our food to find after I ask for them to check on our food that they burnt my wife’s steak and made her another one my meal when brought out must of been reheated twice and burnt!!!! So disgusting! Why would a manager send food out looking that bad???? We will have to find another steak house that cares about their customers“

“Delicious local fare! They had a dish called "ham balls" as a special of the day. I'm up for adventure, so I tried it, and I wasn't disappointed! Wow, they're good! Basically, they're minced ham, formed into generously-sized balls (at least 2" in diameter), with pineapple sauce on top. They came with "pineapple filling," which tastes like bread pudding, but with pineapple mixed in. I could totally imagine having that, not as a side, but as dessert, topped with a scoop of ice cream! I didn't realize what it was when I ordered it, so, along with the custom side (I chose their yummy potato cakes), I ordered an extra side of veggies. The complementary white rolls they brought out tasted homemade (definitely not the cheap stuff).Needless to say, I couldn't finish everything, so I had to wrap up the leftovers (along with two extra ham balls) to go.Our server Deneen was really sweet, too. She answered our questions nicely and was perfectly attentive.“

“Heard about this speakeasy-style bar and decided to go for cocktails before dinner. It was a short walk from our hotel. The door isn't really obvious at first, but we were able to find it from the descriptions. The bar wasn't busy thankfully, and we were warmly greeted. We loved the unique drink menu, and the bar itself is sophisticated and classy. The bartenders are knowledgeable and even gave us dinner recommendations. I loved the refreshing gin drink I had served in a beautiful bird glass. We also loved the pulled pork sliders as a delicious appetizer. We'll be back!“

“What a terrific place! It's HUGE! Food really tasted like great home cooking, lots to choose from, everything fresh as can be and delicious. There's a carving section with ham, turkey & roast beef. Another section with roast chicken (& waffles if that's your thing) buffet tables of salads, appetizers, soups, breads, veggies, meats & sides. Just rooms full of food and a huge section of just deserts. It was fun to try a little bit of what you like even if you're not a big eater. It's been over a week & I'm still full? The waitresses are great, very friendly & helpful. A definite place to try.“

“We decided to have Easter dinner at the Cork and Cap restaurant and we were not disappointed! It located in an old factory complex with decor to match, but still very classy looking. Our server was attentive and knew the menu very well. We started out with a scallop and pork belly appetizer that was delicious as well as some wings. Our son had the ribeye steak cooked to perfection. Our daughter had the roast duck breast, which she said was absolutely great. My wife had a swordfish special with red pepper risotto. The fish was perfectly cooked. I had the beef short rib Wellington, which was also extremely tasty and not something you see all the time. The place is pricey, but when the food is that good, I don’t mind paying a bit more for a special occasion. Highly recommend.“

“We had amazing experience here! Joanna, our waitress was funny, kind and so attentive! This would have made our meal… BUT, the food here was exceptional. My husband and I came at the suggestion of an inn keeper as we were in town for a show. I sheepishly told her that we don’t drink beer, only wine. So… we order a lamb burger and a fish & chips sandwich with…wine! And what a meal it was!!!! This place could teach the Jersey Shore a few things about a phenomenal culinary experience at a brewery! Look, there are many great places to eat in Lancaster. However, this experience was truly memorable. Thanks for an amazing lunch, you made our afternoon before went to the show. Definitely going back. Keep up the great work!“

“I’ve stopped in Decades several times over the last couple years while back home visiting family and it hasn’t disappointed yet.I mainly go for the fact that there is always more than one vegetarian/vegan option (that isn’t just a salad) and the kitchen is open later than 9pm (10pm is my average dinner time and that’s hard for Lancaster to accommodate, especially for a vegan). The service has always been top notch; very friendly, speedy and accommodating bartenders.I haven’t bowled yet but there’s a great selection of arcade games. Please protect that DDR machine forever.“

“My fiancé and I never go out anymore, and we were in the mood for a great dinner at a nice restaraunt.I could go on and on about how awesome our 1st experience was at Reflections, but I'll try to keep it short:Our server Madeline blew us away. Not only was she knowledgeable about the menu, but talked about the different foods and drinks so passionately and in depth that wholeheartedly convinced my fiancé and I to order the specials they had last night, because of how delicious they sounded. She was so friendly, personable, and made us laugh & enjoy our evening. She is a top tier server, and personally gave me the best experience I've ever had with someone bringing us our food & drinks.Reflections is SO lucky to have her... hope she sticks around! The food was IMPECCABLE. Not only do they have a great selection of food, from apps to the entrées to the drinks & desserts, but it was all done SO WELL. Some of the best food I have ever had honestly. They had a great wine & cocktails list, and both kinds that my fiancé and I ordered tasted amazing. We even ordered desserts, which were also so tasty. The atmosphere was the icing on the cake- It definitely felt like finer dining without feeling like everyone was supposed to be in suits & dresses. The stained glass everywhere and lights on the inside looked so cool!Overall- we were very impressed and are excited to come back.If you're in the area, Reflections is a MUST to stop by and grab dinner.“

“We ordered online and picked up our food to eat at home. We were able to choose what we wanted on our subs. When we got home, I ate an onion ring and took a bite of my sub and before I was finished chewing, the roof of my mouth started to feel sore and swell. I have a tomato allergy. I checked my order and there wasn't supposed to be tomatoes on my sub. I called and told them and they said that all subs come with lettuce, tomato and onion no matter if you order them or not. They brought me a replacement made the right way.Dietary restrictions: YOU MUST TELL THEM ABOUT A FOOD ALLERGY. “I am absolutely impressed with this place. I’m currently pregnant and really struggling to find things that I enjoy to eat. Meat has been one of the things that I’ve been struggling with. I saw the balsamic glaze chicken on the menu and decided to ask the waiter if it was good and to describe to me what it tasted like since I worried about it being dry and me possibly wasting my money. The waiter mentioned my situation to the chef, Nestor, and the chef proceeded to come out, and asked me exactly how I would like it. He made a glaze and came out with it to let me try it which shocked me. It tasted AMAZING!!!! When they brought out my meal, it was the most I’ve enjoyed meat in weeks, it was so tender and full of flavor!! Thank you Nestor for you’re attention to detail. I will be telling everyone about this place (:“

“Dining out is all about service. Staff we met was up beat and friendly. John, who attended us for dinner was spot on at every point in the meal service. Many thanks to him. The food is very well prepared and presented. My partner had the chicken parmesan I had the meatloaf, not on the google review choices. However, I chose because to me it represented a regional food type. And, it was very tasty. We will return for a repeat. Although named a tavern, it is more a fine dining establishment. Lively customers that were charming and relaxing.“
