“✨ Samedi soir inoubliable ✨ Après un concert intimiste Candlelight au 9e, j’ai poursuivi la soirée au réputé Café Ferreira, une véritable institution portugaise au cœur de Montréal. Dès l’entrée, les effluves envoûtants de la cuisine m’ont séduite. Service impeccable, rapidité et fraîcheur irréprochable. 🌊 En entrée, des huîtres sur glace d’une fraîcheur exquise, relevées d’une mignonnette au vinaigre vieilli : un pur délice marin. 🍲 En plat principal, la bouillabaisse aux poissons et fruits de mer — généreuse, riche en saveurs, et tout simplement succulente. J’ai savouré chaque bouchée avec gratitude. 🍮 Et pour clore cette expérience : le pastel de nata maison accompagné de glace… une douceur portugaise qui a parfaitement scellé cette soirée magique. Une expérience culinaire raffinée, où chaque détail était pensé pour sublimer le moment. 🌹“

“What an experience! Over the course of about 3 hours, 7 fantastic dishes, paired with 7 glasses of perfectly selected wine, I discovered what the term "fine dining" actually means. It's sophisticated without being overly serious, the flavors are always playful, changing right when you think you've figured them out. My favorite dish was a charred trout with roe and confit melon, in a beurre blanc sauce (chef's kiss). However, everything was truly wonderful, from a perfectly cooked strip loin, to rare squab with a rich berry sauce, to a braised beet on top of an intense shiitake mushroom puree. The service is impeccable: they never miss a beat. Whether it was never missing the opportunity to pull out the chair for my companion, to simply exuding a quite and comforting friendliness. Accommodation is what they strive for, and they go above and beyond to achieve that while maintaining an air of effortlessness. Needless to say, I'm counting the days until I go back.“

“Lovely people. Eclectic and cozy atmosphere. Very relaxing. The espresso gelato was amazing.
I do wish the vegetarian bagel was a bit easier to eat and had avocado instead of the small guac cup, but I'm not sure that is typical after seeing other photo reviews. And still not a big deal, it still tasted good, albeit a bit messy. 😊“

“Came here with a friend for a little cocktail night out! It was walking distance from our hotel (the Sheraton) so we decided to give it a try! I ordered the Martingale and some fresh oysters. My cocktail was the perfect blend of strong, sweet, and citrusy. The oysters were also very fresh and paired well with the toppings!
We absolutely loved the vibe of this place—buzzing and lively but not too loud so we could hear each other while chatting. Would definitely recommend and I’ll be coming back the next time I’m in the city!“

“Le service est très bien sauf qu'ils ont de la misère à séparer les factures au moment du paiement, il y a toujours des erreurs. Aussi, ils ne m'ont pas averti lors de la réservation qu'il fallait quitter à 21h. Nous avons été bousculés pour quitter après notre dessert.“

“I would say that the ham croquettes at Bodegat are the best in Canada. Bodegat ham croquettes are absolutely flawless. I also love their menu because it’s carefully curated, offering authentic Spanish dishes with the best version of each item they serve. If you are in Montreal whether living here or just visiting and want to taste true Spanish cuisine with an authentic touch, this is without a doubt the place to go. Please, try and taste l’Ajo blanco as well.

“Staff were very nice and efficient. The food came in a nice container compared to the paper container you find at other locations. The food was delicious (I took the #8) and was ready in less than 5 minutes. The food stayed hot all the way home which was approximately 30 minutes! Many great food options. It’s pricey, but all locations are :)“
