“I had a birthday celebration at this restaurant. We sat near the cozy fireplace on a chilly night. The cheeseboard (varied cheeses, focaccia bread, honey, blackberries, nuts, jam, greens) and Pt. Judith calamari were beautifully presented. Excellent bottle of Pinot Grigio from Tuscany, Italy added to food, Staff was very accomodating. I enjoyed mussels, scallops, little necks over pasta in scampi sauce. Others had the salmon as well as the bolognese. It's a very roomy, quiet setting near the water. Staff came out to sing happy birthday with a luscious ice cream dessert with a candle on top. I was pleasantly surprised. We will return to this place for sure!“

“My waiter tried to deceive me. Otty did not give me the wine I asked for, instead he served me a wine that was sitting for a long time and then said it was just opened-two strikes. Then he turned to me and said" what's the difference". I was very disappointed. Food very good. Service very unacceptable.“

“We came in on a Thursdy night. There may have been one other couple there on our arrival, but eventually we were alone. We had drinks, then a 3-course dinner. I ordereded the duck confit that was entirely correct and tasty. My lady guest ordered salmon; woefully under cooked, with string beans virtually raw. (I gave feedback to the waiter.) This outpost of Parisian culture is SO imortant in our downscale Rhode Island dining scene. I really hope they can fill up on weeknights,, and that the chef can get some coaching on how to produce truly Parisian food. I want to add that the service was entirely professoinal -- and welcome. “To the incompetent individuals @dewolftavern who stiffed us on the exorbitant take out Thanksgiving meal you provided missing half the turkey, gravy and the mashed potatoes we payed for and drove a half hour to pick up.... To the girl who insisted after my father asked if everything in our order was in the bag that it was, to your manager who was unhelpful and should be dealt with accordingly and whomever portioned out the meal should be reprimanded as well. Our oven is broken on Thanksgiving and your incompetence made it an even greater day.
