Of course, the line was out the door and down the street, but that was okay because everyone enjoyed visiting each other. There is just one warning, the portions are enormous. “Today we made a pilgrimage to Basil Yu’s restaurant, Yagi Noodles. My son happened to see that Basil had become a successful restaurateur while he was watching one of Guy Fieri’s shows. We had become acquainted with Basil when we were all involved with a Boy Scout Troop in Manchester NH. We were disappointed to discover that Basil wasn’t at the restaurant, however we got over it when we found out it was due to a commitment to a fundraiser for the James Beard Foundation. Basil, You weren’t there, but your food is delicious. You get the Merit Badge! You weren’t there, but your staff is spectacular! You get the Merit Badge! We wish you continued success! Five stars for the staff who is always so gracious and lovely, minus the one time I was taken aback by the disrespect and unprofessionalism of one of the members. I hope that due to the poor choice of this staff member, that the members’misbehavior doesn’t reflect upon the teams’ sweet and wholesome image.“

The owner Paul is so nice and his staff is so friendly. I'm always greeted with a smile.

I especially love getting a juice from here after yoga around the corner, but from time to time I'll get a smoothie or the coconut bacon BLT. The BLT is just as good as real bacon, I think there's some kind of black magic involved in the recipe.

The atmosphere is nice, especially sitting out front and watching the people walk by. Very enjoyable on a nice sunny day.“

“Just really, really good. Menu has some ramen classics and other inspired Asian dishes, all done well and with fresh ingredients. The okonomiyaki waffle spec was out of control. Pork buns made me want to slap my momma, who I was dining with. It took tremendous effort to restrain myself. Great drink selection, excellent service, and good vibes all around. Go here, eat the food and tell the guys how awesome they are.

Vegetarian options: Many.

Dietary restrictions: I saw a lot if GF next to menu items. Due to the nature of the food, a lot of it is going to be GF and that's the big one. When it comes to other allergens, I know the people that operate this place and if they can safely accommodate a dietary restriction I'm sure they will, and if they can't they will absolutely tell you.

Parking: There is a big parking lot behind the restaurant. I have never not found parking there, there are lots of parking spots. My friends and I used to drink and fish back there in high school.

Kid-friendliness: There was no bouncer checking IDs, and nothing else preventing a child from entering this establishment and eating food. In fact I witnessed two human children enjoying some tasty food with their handlers while I was there.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs can definitely get in there.“

“It was my first experience at Tong Ta today and the food was outstanding. I have eaten at Thai restaurants all over the United States including some of my favorites in NYC, Houston, San Jose, Boston, and TONG TA is among the best I’ve had and it’s local!. The Beef and basil sauce (Gra Pao) was fantastic, the beef was tender and flavorful, the veggies were perfectly cooked and the sauce was perfectly seasoned. The chicken satay was excellent as well. “An impressive new(ish) facility in an unassuming location, especially because we live nearby and never noticed the place until they put a big new sign out on the road. Bright, modern, and clean. Inside is a bit fancier than expected, in a good way, compared to the back outdoor patio and lounge area, which is really nice in its own right. Just a good vibe all around and good folk working there. On a warm day, the outdoor bar and cornhole can’t be beat. Selection is solid, as they’ve updated their beer offerings to keep up with the hazy IPA trend. They could use some food trucks or something to eat, especially on the weekends, as they only sell beverages.

Update for October 2024 now that Wally’s has officially moved in to sell their delicious food right out of the kitchen! Trivia Thursdays are fun and the food is great, ranging from dogs to fried chicken to burgers. Had a couple tasty lagers, as well. Good to see their lager game is strong.“

Jasmine green tea was pretty good (7/10) We really liked the decaf coffee (9/10) what a treat. The regular coffee was not noteworthy, but fine. Nitro’s is much better.
