“Today was me and my wife’s first time going to Olneyville New York System in Providence and we were both in awe while we were there and we kept talking about it how awesome it was after we left. Not only were the wieners excellent but the fries are some of the best we’ve ever had. Gotta get the coffee milk to go with the wieners, it is delicious. Most importantly, I want to give a shoutout to the crew that was working today. You all made us feel so welcome along with being super nice and accommodating to us. All I can say is that we will be back not only for the excellent food but for the atmosphere itself. We’ll be looking forward to seeing you all again. Have a great day !“

“Had an amazing experience. The Whipped Ricotta app was light and delicious, and the Shaved Steak Sandwich was exactly what I was looking for. Didn't exactly skip on dessert; their espresso martini ended the night perfectly. Highly recommend and shout out to Shakira and Nate...amazing top-notch service.“

The only thing was when it costs $13 for a glass of wine, I'd like a good pour. The pours were a bit small. Service was excellent. Pricey but expected this, would definitely go back.“

“Dined here last night before PPAC, for that reason we made an early dinner reservation. I confirmed when calling they had valet parking. We arrived to find no valet attendant. After some back and forth with hostess and manager my husband was finally able to come inside for dinner, nearly 30 mins wasted. Our server AJ provided exemplarry service; she was personable and knew the menu like the back of her hand. We appreciated her service, and our dinners were all very good. As we departed we confirmed with the tardy valet attendant if we could leave the car and pick up after the show as we do with neighboring establishments and he said no because they would be closed by the time the show was over; this couldn’t have been further from the truth. The valet was rude, late, and it’s terribly unfortunate that the valet ruined what could have been a great dinner with friends.“

“Just came from Palmer River Grille, it's very nice inside and the food was excellent. My wife had a small issue with her meal (no need for details), the managers took care of it no problem, which they don't have to do, so I want to take this opportunity to thank them. Our waiter Derek was awesome! Just want to acknowledge everyone there, the wait staff etc. are very friendly, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and their food. I would recommend them to anyone and for sure we will be back. Thank you!“

“Fine dining done right! I can tell how much attention was put into everything we ate. We went w 2 charcuterie meats as an app and I went w the monkfish as a main course. While not an immense amount of food, it was perfect as I’d eaten a couple hours earlier. Regardless, it was delicious- the best part may have been the veggies!

Half chicken and sea bass were also delicious. I haven’t even mentioned service and vibes, which were great.“

“TRAFFORDS TESTIMONIAL Perhaps once in a lifetime you find someplace really special for you and your spouse. Seven years ago we went to Trafford’s for the first time. What we remember about it was how it made us feel. Both of us work hard in our professions and to go out to dinner and find wonderful food, excellent and attentive wait staff, and relaxed environment simply made our day. We then came every month at least once mostly twice to enjoy the excellence and serenity at Trafford. Sadly we lost this when the fire occurred for several years. Then absolute joy when Trafford’s reopened and we found the same wonderful food, wonderful staff in a simply beautiful rebuilt building. The joy we felt and the absolute calm and serenity is all back for us. Recently we celebrated my 76th birthday at Trafford with my entire family. It was amazingly special for me and we had our special event upstairs with the entire place devoted to us . Chrissy our server did an awe inspiring service for us making it perhaps one of the most special birthdays I have ever had I have attached a picture of this special moment. I work in the computer software business doing quality assurance 10 hours every day. Being able to calm down and relax completely at Trafford’s is simply a joy for us. “I saw Honeybird on Phantom Gourmet a bit ago and living a state away I took note this is a must try. Fast forward to this weekend I suggested to my brother and others come here to kick off his bachelor party weekend and let me tell you this is THE SPOT!!! The wings and tenders were huge and the perfect balance of crispy and tender. Fries seasoned incredibly well. Get the honey bird sauce too. You won’t be disappointed. This absolutely was the perfect start for the night we needed to rally for. I can’t wait to come back. I’m looking at you to try crispy catfish sliders!“

“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though“

“We are sorry it took us so long to discover The Square Peg. Cozy, old colonial vibe, delicious fall sangria and scrumptious comfort food. Our first visit was a perfect complement to our day visiting farm stands and enjoying a beautiful October Saturday. A bonus is that the location could rival Salem in October minus the crowds. Just perfect. We loved the chili with sour cream, cheese and onions on top, the patty melt and the ahi tuna tacos. All were delicious and reasonably priced. We look forward to visiting many times.“

“The 99 is already one of my go to restaurants. This specific one was one of the first places I went to with the now love of my life. But I just want to thank the friendliest (I believe she was a cook) who worked at this specific location (North Attleboro, MA) who had an accent (that’s all I know about her, I wish I got her name) I had to take my baby into the restroom for a diaper change and while I was in there I discovered that an old baby food pouch exploded in the bottom of the diaper bag and covered all of our diapers. My son was all over the place trying to crawl off the counter where I made him sit so I could clean out the bag and throw out all of the rotten apple covered diapers 😭 and I was a mess until this wonderful lady who appeared to be a cook there walked in and offered to hold him for me and just held him there next to me, entertaining him in the mirror, talking to him until my mother in law walked in to check on us. Just wanted to recognize her kindness and make it known how thoughtful she was. “I’ve been there, I know how jt is” she said and in that moment I felt a bit of relief knowing that as a mom we are not alone.“
