“Black Salt is my latest favorite local restaurant. Excellent food, friendly service, delicious drinks. Comfortable, casual atmosphere. The owners are great. Some menu items change by the season. The calamari and the linguini & clams are the BEST I’ve ever had anywhere. Black Salt is also a great place to host a dinner party or small event. We recently had a milestone birthday celebration there and everyone loved it. Highly recommend Black Salt.“

“Comfortable, airy, and easy going environment Able to view the chef creating the most delish, fresh foods. The variety of labeled oysters were all cold, clean, and fresh. The clam chowder was flavorful, and bountiful with melt in you mouth clams. Service was on point from start to finish!“

“We parked up at the top of the hill, so we were close to the Mansions. Needed a watering hole after trudging round a Mansion. This place was just opening when we walked by. The beer was nice and cold, priced reasonably compared to the rip off merchants down by the Harbor. Best thing about it was the Owners. They were really personable. So, we came back for a grilled chicken sandwich lunch before heading home. Pity we couldn't stay longer. Wish there were more places like this. Highly recommended.“

I can't wait for my next visit to this cute little New England town.Most recently I had the pleasure of dining at Revival through a recommendation from a close friend and MAN! this place did not disappoint. The inside is cozy and welcoming, the service was speedy and friendly and the food selection was incredible. I also love a place that has specials - my mother in law enjoyed the short rib pappardelle. My first time having Osso Bucco and OMG - I need it again and again. Cocktails weren't half bad either, I'd love to return for a more casual snack and drink.“

“Portside Tavern is where you go for inspiration. If not the food, then the visuals. Around daily sunset time, the sun is directly in sight of the tavern's windows setting over the bay. The Portside has a set of curtains to block the blinding light, but the view and the experience are incredible.We went to Portside for an earlier dinner, around 5:00 to 5:30 PM, and promptly got a table. Cocktails were delicious and the food was served quickly. A real benefit to an early dinner!The Thai Veggie Wraps are gluten-free, and listed as that on the menu. Alongside a bunch of other gluten-free options, the veggie wraps stand out.The burgers were also delicious. “Saturday night music by Brian the one man band was authentic Irish Pub Perfect. A mix of regulars and out of towners at the bar all having casual conversation before the music. Why, in this day and age, is this establishment unable to figure out how to give us separate checks is beyond me. We are a group of 10 ladies who formed 1 year ago and this is the first time we were told we could not get separate checks. It took 45 min for the manager to figure out our bill so we could pay. “Went to get lunch with my husband and our two kids this afternoon on Martin Luther King Day. Sat immediately in dining area and ordered a buffalo chicken pizza, wings and two kids meals. Our kids absolutely devoured everything! The fries and cheeseburgers were delicious. The pizza was perfection as well! The staff is so nice and helped us put on the bruins game for our hockey obsessed kids. All for under $50! “Somerset Progressive Club is a fishing club with a banquet hall and a great little bar downstairs. I've been there invited by members and eaten for free on Friday nights or they bring in special chefs and make fish and chips for $5 a plate. The pool table is free the drinks are inexpensive $4 for a tall rum and coke. I've been to this establishment dozens of times and always had a good experience and lots of laughs.“
