“We stayed at Wayfinder Hotel while attending a Navy OCS graduation in Newport, RI, and our experience was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care.

All of the staff were wonderful, but Shelly at the front desk truly went above and beyond. She made us feel like family and provided the best customer service I have ever experienced at any hotel or resort. When we asked if there was a microwave available to warm our tea, Shelly immediately contacted Mike from maintenance. Mike personally delivered a microwave to our room and even tested it to ensure it was fully operational before leaving.

This level of attentiveness and service is rare. Shelly sets the gold standard for hospitality, and Mike’s help was equally appreciated. Our stay made an already meaningful trip even more memorable. Highly recommend this hotel—we will absolutely stay here again.“

“As soon as my boyfriend and I walked in we were greeted immediately, the inside was very clean and organized. The cashier i believe her name was Lauren was very pleasant a little nervous but i told her its ok to be nervous your learning and your doing a great job, she took her time and read the order back to me and she had everything correct. As soon as we sat down and got our food there was a young gentleman who came over and asked us if we needed anything or any refills but we said we were fine, after we ate he also came back to the table and threw our trash out which was very nice of him to do. The food was delicious and everything was super fresh! From the salad to the fruit parfait and also the chicken and the fries. I will for sure be back! “This is the first time I’ve wanted to rate a McDonald’s at more than five stars. Firstly, the young staff was very polite, cheerful, and accommodating. My cashier made a few recommendations that made sense and saved me money. They made a mistake on my “specialty sandwich” and when I politely took it back to the counter, another young person promptly apologized and promised to quickly correct it, which they quickly did. The manager himself brought the corrected order to my table. And perhaps the most surprising thing . . . All my food was actually hot. I almost never got my food hot at McDonald’s. At best, it’s usually slightly warm. My fries, burgers, and chicken nuggets were piping hot. I almost didn’t know McDonald’s could do that (because they never do). Before leaving, my wife and I stopped at the counter, called the manager over and thanked him and his young staff for such fine service. I could tell the manager was a nice and positive guy, not because of how he treated me but because of how positive, joyful, and cooperative his kitchen seemed to be. My hats off to this staff! Out of 5 stars, 6!“

However this location always seems to be chronically understaffed as whenever I visit there are always only one or two employees rushing around doing the work of several people; having to take both in-store and online orders while preparing ingredients and cleaning all at the same time. “i go to the gym in the lot across from this Subway location. I order my dinner during my last set and by the time I get to pickup the sandwiches they are always ready or just wrapping up. The location is always extremely clean in the dining area and behind the line. Vegetables are always FRESH and the employees? Top tier. They always greet me as soon as I walk in and are so kind and personable during the entire interaction. Even when I dont order ahead and walk in order, they are wonderful!
