It Is prepared with loving care and the highest of precision. Lightly fried and served steaming hot from the first bite to the last.
You will not be disappointed.
Accompanied with creamy tartar sauce, coleslaw and fries. You will not find this dish prepared any better than this anywhere else.

I filmed a quick intro outside, walked in, got a quick vid of the interior and before I got to sit down for a food review it went downhill fast. Almost immediately, the energy felt off. As I started my usual walkthrough (phone in hand), the interaction with the owner turned uncomfortable. Instead of being welcoming or neutral, the tone came off as condescending, rude and dismissive. There was no effort to de-escalate the situation, and I quickly felt unwelcome in the space. At that point, I made the right decision to leave. I didn’t raise my voice. I didn’t make a scene. I simply chose not to stay where I didn’t feel respected or welcomed. I’m always courteous, polite, and respectful when I walk into any establishment, and my money is just as good as anyone else’s. I would have easily dropped $250 on that visit including a generous tip for my server. When the vibe is off, I listen to that instinct. “I have been dining at Wood River Golf for over 10 years maybe even closer to 20 they have had their ups and downs especially during "C". Dinner this past Saturday night was fabulous. Their chicken parmesan is still the best around. I can say with confidence I have never had a bad meal there. Prime rib Saturday was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend! I know everyone has been struggling to find good help but thank the Lord they have a strong family support system and a wonderful bartender who has always been loyal.“

“I can't find the words to express how pleased I am with Alley Katz. I posted on Facebook looking for a local Alley that offered cosmic bowling for my son's birthday and AK delivered. They couldn't offer a standard party but their flexibility and accommodations were phenomenal. The staff was attentive to everyone's lanes, bartender made great drinks, the food was exceptional, and the establishment was cozy, welcoming, and clean. “The absolute best Thai-fusion food in the region. Their drunken rice/noodle and basil plates have no competition, not to mention the dumplings and squid appetizer. Worth every penny and occasional long wait, imo.“

“OK, so what Rhode Islander would head to West Greenwich for seafood? Really??? I mean you can’t even whiff the ocean from this place. But, lo and behold, my beautiful wife and I stopped in this weekend and, sure enough, what’s on the specials menu? Clam cakes, chowder and stuffies!!! Yup, right out there in the boonies. I gotta tell ya, we live at Dan’s Place, and the same dude just bought this place, so we had faith the food would excel, and it did. We consider ourselves kinda expert on clam cakes, and both of us agreed that Chef David makes THE BEST!! And the neat thing is, the tab was more than reasonable and it’s only 10 minutes off 95! Kudos to Dan, Chef David and the friendly bartenders. Cool joint!!“

“The food and cocktails were on point. We had the roasted Brussels sprouts and bacon wrapped scallops for appetizers. The scallops were smaller and lacked a good sear and the bacon lacked a good crisp, but the flavor of the scallops was fresh and sweet. The Brussels sprouts were a good size portion, tender, crisp and flavorful. Three of us had the Chicken Cordon Bleu and found it to be juicy, flavorful and a perfectly done preparation of this dish. I had the beef Wellington and would highly recommend. However, what really set this dinner apart was the absolutely impeccable service. The waitstaff was always right there to refill water glasses, provide fresh plates and cutlery as needed, take orders, etc but never hovered. At the conclusion of the meal, they were quick to bring our bill, quick to pick up payment and provide receipt, yet we never felt rushed to leave. They even refilled our water glasses after we had paid, making us fell welcome to linger and chat. It is rare to experience this level of hospitality outside of Europe and for this reason we will be back and I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to actually dine with friends.“

“Standard sports bar with pub fare, decent craft beer selection and my mom's favorite wine. It's been up and down here with food and service speed but on my last visit (5/4/23), the food came quickly and looked really solid. I didn't eat but had a few craft beers. Bartender isn't the most knowledgeable on the craft offerings but the selection is good! Came for trivia on a Thursday evening.“
