“We are new empty nesters and we took the time to plan a night away. The staff was incredibly accommodating and very friendly. Every step was next level posh. We were going to stay in a well-known resort in Asheville, but the prices were outrageous. The Willcox was very reasonable for a ‘special treat’. The room turndown and options to make it extra special was a very nice touch- down to the homemade chocolate chip cookies. I’m picky about food, and over the last 8 years dining at The Willcox, I’ve never been disappointed. Everything is fresh and at a perfect temperature. We will be back- 5 ⭐️ for sure!”

““Aiken Fish House: Where the Flavor Hits Harder Than the Manager” It was a humid Thursday evening. The sky hung low, purple with tension. I pulled into the Aiken Fish House lot craving fried catfish and inner peace. Then—chaos. Some guy in a tank top near the entrance was yelling. Said the hush puppies was “mid.” Big mistake. Like a shadow gliding from the kitchen, the manager appeared. Calm. Confident. Apron blowing in the breeze like a battle flag. He didn’t speak. He just walked—slow motion—toward the noise. The guy kept mouthing off. And then? Boom. The manager lifted this man with the grace of a ballet dancer and the fury of Poseidon, and body-slammed him onto the hood of a 2008 Dodge Charger. Sparks flew. A flock of pigeons scattered. A child in the corner dropped his hush puppy in awe. Someone whispered, “Is that… legal?” No one answered. We were too busy watching greatness. I went inside. Ordered the fried catfish platter with a side of mac & cheese. It tasted like it had been blessed by angels and lightly uppercutted by Zeus. The sweet tea? Strong enough”

The restaurant was extremely busy, yet Emanuel kept up with all our MANY needs, was friendly, professional, and efficient. He is a true asset to this establishment. ...and this was after the front desk hosting stand staff totally messed up in seating us, too. Emanuel was so good, we forgot how badly the hosting staff performed. Great Job, Emanuel.”

“Although the steaks are excellent, my absolute favorite is the double cut pork chop. I consistently brag ab.out it whenever we take out of town guests there. Unlike some other restaurants I’ve bragged about and been embarrassed because the meal didn’t live up to the expectations I created, the pork chop at the Prime is always fully cooked (no pink at the bone) yet it remain succulent throughout. While some may consider the cost for a pork chop to be a bit pricey, I believe it is well worth it for what you get. Quality and quantity dictate price. In all my years of fine dining, I have never had a better (or even close) pork chop than that served at the Prime.. the portion is always sufficient for me to take the remainder home for a second meal. Service and ambiance are also noteworthy. I highly recommend.”

I would wish that Anna Hudson could sing at smoke house little bit earlier instead of 9 o'clock? But other than that she is a great person with a great personality. She loves people and her job.

“We ate lunch here on 7/2/25. I have always been very pleased but yesterday we had very little to NO service. The hostess took our drink order and brought out right away. The waitress came without much delay. Our food came in a reasonable time. Then the waitress never came back. She walked by one time and my drink was very low. She looked and kept going. Never saw her again. Had to get the attention of someone else and hostess again brought my refill of drink. Another person brought check after we asked for it and took payment. I feel at the price you charge for a drink, I deserve at least one refill. Not happy at all.”

“The hostess told us 4o minute wait for a party of seven. After an hour plus my phone buzzed telling me our table was ready. When I went to the hostess,Priscilla she told me I had said a party of five. I said I know how to count the number in our party. Finally a server came over and found seating for our party. After discussion with manager our entire meals for a party of 7 was on Outback’s. The manager and assistant mgr very nice and accommodating, This was true customer service and satisfaction. I will continue to visit Outback’s for this reason The food was delicious and Caden our waitress was very nice and helpful.”

“I love Sakura the food is great but I have two questions for management. #1 why doesn’t the air conditioner work??? I came a few months ago and it was hot in there and I came again tonight and it was horrible. Apparently it’s been going on quite a while there were some people eating that brought there own mini fans I kid you not. I guess they are regulars. #2 the last two times I came the cook didn’t even do the usual spill. Like the volcano, the choo choo train, no jokes and both times there were young kids at the table. What’s up with that? Please address these issues.”

“THE best, most fresh street tacos, gorditas, burritos etc. very small, friendly place in the back of a small market. Cannot get anything more fresh.Their white meat only (grilled) chicken tacos come on corn or flour tortillas with cilantro and onion and a wedge of fresh lime. grab some of the sauces and delicious pico de gallo and you have an incredibly healthy meal. Cannot say enough great things.”

“The setting is vintage small town pizza joint with 80s music in the background. The cheese in the fried ravioli is fresh mozzarella and melted perfectly. We got a cheese calzone and the combination of mozzarella and riccota was oozing out of the soft bread with a perfectly crusty exterior. And then the carnivore pizza was amazing. That fresh spicy Italian sausage is perfect for pizza…it dances in your mouth and in your tongue.

The service was wonderful and we really enjoyed the experience. You won’t regret stopping here.”

“Me and my girlfriend ate here, only because it was the closest place to our AirBnb rental. Wasn’t rated as good as other Mexican places nearby but we both absolutely loved it. Authentic food, the salsa was solid and came with free queso with beef dip which almost no other places do! She had the ribeye steak with eggs and vegetables and I had the fajitas with beef, shrimp, and chicken. Came with lots of grilled onions and great variety of other things besides the 3 meats. But what truly made my visit special was the customer service. A young man named Isaiah helped me, and he was nothing short of amazing. Isaiah went above and beyond to ensure my order was perfect, offering helpful suggestions and making sure everything was prepared exactly to my liking. His positive attitude and friendly demeanor made the experience so much more enjoyable. You can tell he genuinely cares about the customers and takes pride in his work.

I wanted to cancel but Im hungry..once I got them, they were hot and really good. no more chicken fingers for me-maybe the okra has shorter cook time!”

“The best pizza in the csra. Their pizza is so good that I drove over an hour for a vesuvius. My craving started late Friday night. I didn't have time Saturday so I planned my Sunday around lunch at pizza di Napoli. Sunday morning was torture.. my toothpaste tasted like tender and juicy pepperoni, my coffee had the sharp but warm scent of a wood fire and my biscuit from McDonald's tasted like.... well we know what they taste like. The drive over to aiken took forever. We finally arrive I felt like a kid on Christmas morning ...that got coal in his stocking. Closed from the 18th -26th. I had checked the website and called and listened to the recording and and and.... I'll still give you five stars but you may not be getting a Christmas card this years.”

“Golden China has become a weekly treat for us. I love the hot and sour soup! It’s so good! My husband loves the sesame chicken, and I like trying different entrees that have vegetables in them. All I have tried have been excellent! The egg rolls are crispy! I can’t go back to soggy egg rolls after Golden China’s crispy ones. The combination plate gives us two meals each(leftovers), with the entree, fried rice, and a crispy egg roll for one price. I highly recommend!”
