“A must, must visit if you are in the area. Just a slight detour off the interstate and well worth it to visit a historic hot dog diner. This establishment has been serving the locals since 1953 when the mills flourished and folks needed a quick hot and affordable meal.
I went for the 2 dog plate with all the toppings (mustard, onions, and chilli) then I added coleslaw just cuz that is how I like them. The crinkle cut fries are crispy and hot... Everything was so good! I got them to go.ao I could sit outside on the picnic tables with my puppy. I do feel I missed out on sitting inside with the locals and the friendly staff who are so down to earth I felt like family stopping in.“

“One of my chicken sandwiches was not in there and they made it right. Very nice staff and manager. The chocolate custard was great. The only partially wrong was several of the staff was wandering around and gathered at one of the registers.“

“Being a retired military family with kids is tight we asked if they had a military discount before we even ordered any food . The server was nice and looked at the military ID and saw and informed us it was a 10% discount the food was amazing….. Well when we got the check and paid and asked her about the discount she said … ohhh no I didn’t put that on there I’m so sorry …. Money is tight and the bill was about $130 with a tip … we hardly go out and treat ourselves with the prices nowadays so if your military aswell or retired just make sure to bring up the discount again before handing your card like we did“

“I've had nothing but great experiences in both Greenville and Spartanburg, yesterday I had the burger for lunch, char grilled not a nasty flat top, fresh cut fries and excellent service, I've been a restaurant manager for a long time and currently the banquet captain across the street, I highly recommend“

“Charlie cooked while Meagan assisted me with the menu. It's extensive. Everything is short order cooked. I went there just to see what the place was like, there were already a lot of good reviews. Don't let the outside fool you, the place is clean and the food is delicious. I wasn't that hungry but I wolfed down my delicious flounder sandwich so fast I forgot to take a picture. The fries are crinkly fries. The coleslaw is standard. They have seafood, burgers, a gyro, and on and on. Dinners come with a small salad.

“The old Country Pride. The new abbreviated menu is the same. The steaks are very good. The service is top tier. I pulled a 34 here. Coin operated laundry is $3 wash/ dry. I pulled some time in the shop ( fuel filter change, tractor lube, and some shine). I had a few meals, all were good. Coffee is hot, good , and plentiful. Went across the road and got a wash at the streaking beacon! It was a very productive reset. What did surprise me was all the litter in the lot. I didn't see anyone empty any of the waste bins but other than that it was a good break“

“Had the week off and stopped by for some happy hour and some food. One of the owners daughter in law was helping out so regular staff could have some time off. Audrey I think her name was. She was awesome and very helpful. There was no one in the place besides a few club members. Food was very good, nice portions. We had a couple of drinks, in the end the price was good for what we got. We'll be back when we have another day off.“

“The atmosphere is clean, food is fair nothing fancy. I had the hamburger steak as well as the potato salad and coleslaw. It was all really good. My mom had a chili cheeseburger that was just okay because the chili on top just looked like browned hamburger with not much flavor. All-in-one wasn't bad and the prices were pretty good. “Three of us are here on February 20,2026. Restaurant was clean inside and out. Employees were very friendly and especially Erica. We ordered three burgers,onion rings and cheese curds. Onion rings and cheese curds were very good . Hamburgers were very dry,bun’s bottom half was cold and the burger really had no flavor to it. . Not sure we will return.“

“The bisket is full of fat, if you like fat you are in the right place. I have never been served slices of fat. I had more fat then bisket. Will not return. Brisket sandwich was 10.00 and the majority was fat. They knew I had never had bisket before, so the served me fat.“

“I fully believe this to be the best Waffle House I have ever been to. The staff were very welcoming and continued to clean as they went. The staff didn’t leave each server to their own table but instead helped each other and checked in with other tables if they thought they may need something. However, what I enjoyed the most was the atmosphere. Regulars that have been coming here for 10 years were joking with staff and vice versa. It felt welcoming and at home. If I lived closer, this would be a regular weekend treat.“

“My wife and I stopped in for breakfast this morning. We were greeted at the door by the smiling face of Nickkia, who also became our waitress. Nickkia helped guide us through the menu and told us about the specials. We both decided on one of the 6.00 breakfast specials . The food came to the table quickly and was hot and delicious. Nickkia kept checking on us and did a great job taking care of us. The restaurant was super clean, service was outstanding, great prices and great food. Bravo IHOP, job well done! “After a long and stressful drive with no food in stomach, me and my friend stopped in to eat before we headed home. The three people working night of August 20th were so nice and friendly even though we unintentionally ended up being a bit difficult about how our eggs were cooked. “Everyone there is really friendly. They get busy so might have to be patient, but the staff is good. Place is clean, wheelchair accessible, good food too. They're also great about taking anything back and making sure you have what you want.“

“Our local Fuddruckers closed years ago so we were excited to see this place open. We were a party of 4 and everyone got burgers, fries and a drink. The food was good, it wasn't as good as it was when I was younger. The biggest appeal of Fuddruckers was freshly made hamburgers. However, in the current financial climate I don't think we could afford it if they were freshly made.

The patties tasted average (Hardee's burgers are better) but the bun was soft and the bacon crisp. I got regular fries, not the skinny ones, and they were the best thing there. Whatever seasoning they put on them was excellent. If you like a thicker, pillowy fry I recommend those. I could have made a meal off of them alone.

The intercom was loud and a little jarring but I understood the reason for it. If you're sensitive to spontaneous loud noises, this might be an issue as they call out when your order is ready.

Overall, I enjoyed it but I won't be seeking it out in the future.“
