“We just had a surprise Dinner Party for my Husband at Coral. Jen could not have helped me more setting up the plans for a surprise evening!! She helped me pre-order Appetizers and Dessert. She was very quick with responses to all of my questions and made helpful suggestions to me. Our table ordered Sea Food, Lamb, and Vegetarian Dishes and everyone was beautifully presented and delicious. The Appetizers looked like they belonged in a magazine and were delicious as well! We could not have been more pleased with our experience. This was about the fourth time at Coral and it is hands down our favorite place to dine in Greenville, SC! “Visiting Greenville for one night and needed a place to eat that we could walk from the hotel. After seeing reviews and asking about SBH BBQ, we went for dinner and were not disappointed. The Sweaty Pig sandwich was delicious and very filling. The chicken nachos had tons of toppings and were very flavorful. We also tried the briscuit/Mac n cheese egg roll and the sweet potato crunch. Again, delicious. April, our server, and Brock, the manager, were friendly and fun to talk to. From the time we walked in the door, we felt very welcome. If you get the chance to visit SBH, don’t miss out!”

“We finished a five day trip to Greenville by having dinner at Soby's. It was packed on a Friday night serving up their "reimagined" Southern Fare. Ordinarily, I would dive in and tell you about all the great food, instead I want to give props to the two line cooks working the Grill and Sautée stations in the kitchen. Our table on the second level looked right down the back (cooking) line. If you've watched The Bear television series you get to see a dramatized version of how a commercial kitchen operates. At Soby's we saw these two guys in action. A nine-steak order at four different temps, no problem. They mowed through an average of 9-10 tickets on the "rail" all night with God knows how many orders per ticket. Great job. Great job indeed! We started our dinner with the Mussles Mariniere sautéed in a bacon, leeks, Manzanilla sherry, cream. So good. I wish the chef would serve four pieces of toast with the dish so you could soak up more of the sauce. I had to try the She Crab Soup, as it is one of my favorites, and Soby's version with aged sherry bowled me over. For our entrees, our server suggested a combination of half portions of their Shrimp and Grits and Crab Cakes. Apparently my wife is not the only one who couldn't decide between the two, and thus a special was born. The crab cakes had a sweet corn maque choux and were served with haricots verts and a mashed potatoes, remoulade. From words on a menu to executed perfection it was a perfect blend of flavors. The shrimp and grits were good, not the best we have ever had, but again perfectly prepared. My entrée was the Braised Beef Short Rib served with mashed potatoes and a Black Garlic Molasses Jus. I watched my dudes on the line make over 20 of these before mine arrived at the table. Fork-tender, the meat had a great depth of flavor from its long journey of preparation. I ate every bite, OK except for the payback bites to my wife for sampling her special. We finished dinner with a piece of their Limoncello Cheese cake followed espressos and Ameretto. Our waitress was perfect all evening. She had a very busy section, but kept the coursing of dinner moving in a relaxed pace. We never felt rushed. Before I end, a word about wine at Soby's. When you arrive at the table, you are given a wine tome. Not a sheet of paper or a wine list you are used to seeing in most establishments. This was a tomb, bound in a metal cover. Soby's owner is a vinophile and has amassed over 2500 wines on the list, that is always changing as choices are enjoyed and more added. It really is quite a stunning list. So get you some Soby's if you're in town. It was a wonderful experience. You too can enjoy food bliss”

“We hadn’t been for a while and went Wednesday night. Sat at the bar as usual and had fun chat with people around us. The bartenders are efficient and make excellent cocktails. To start we shared the wedge salad. It was very fresh with lots of bacon and blue cheese. Wife went for the salmon which is excellent there. I am not a huge salmon fan,but this is the only restaurant that I will order it. I went with the chicken Marsala. It was a little different take on this meal and was excellent. Super comfort food. We’ll do our best not to let too much time pass before returning.”

They served to go orders that were taken after mine and got them ready. we work close by and myself and my co workers spend a lot of money there several times a week. The day shift is awesome but your night shift needs to be replaced. The next time your cook has something to say, tell her to bring to the parking lot, I can be just as nasty and rude as she was! I know a lot of people that work around here between food and health care and I will be encouraging them to spend their money where people appreciate their customers! Do better! I've worked catering for years and had to cook and could still get more orders out than that. I'm also calling DHEC for leaving the refrigerator open way too long, letting the Temps rise higher than they are supposed too.”

“My family ate lunch at Denny’s after church. The food was excellent. I had 2 eggs over medium and pancakes. The pancakes were perfect. Our server was Vivian. She was great. “I recently visited Crumbl Cookies and was blown away by how delicious their cookies are! Each one is fresh, warm, and packed with flavor. The rotating menu keeps things exciting, and I loved trying new flavors alongside some of their classic cookies. The quality and taste are truly top-notch, and it’s hard to leave without taking a box home.

However, the staff experience wasn’t as sweet as the cookies. While they got my order right, they didn’t seem very welcoming or enthusiastic, and it felt a bit rushed at the counter. A little more friendliness would have made the visit perfect.

Overall, the cookies are absolutely worth it, and I’ll definitely be back for the treats—they’re just that good! I hope the staff experience improves to match the quality of the cookies.”

“Liz Barwick and I were staying at a nearby hotel and decided to check out Giovanni's on a whim as it was a short walk away. What a fantastic decision this ended up being! There was a short wait for a table (less than half an hour) but that makes complete sense given the relatively small but very inviting interior space. It all feels very cozy and intimate. Service was excellent start to finish. The host made us feel welcome and accommodated, the Owner/Manager went over the specials and gave us a quick rundown on the options available, our server was prompt and very friendly, and we were never left wanting at any step in the experience. The food was all fantastic as well! We split an order of Calamari in sauce and fried mozzarella as a starter (both delicious) and for mains Liz had the Chicken Alfredo while I had a Mushroom and Truffle Ravioli special. Both of these were incredible and the ravioli dish was served with a flavorful oil and a small basket of bread to soak it up so as to not let a bit go to waste. We also had the Tiramisu as a takeout and it was on the same high level as everything else that we experienced! Overall I cannot recommend Giovanni's enough to anyone looking to have an intimate, traditional Italian experience in the Greenville area and will be coming again in the future!”

Followed up by the New York Strip which was cooked to perfection, and possibly the most flavorful steak I’d ever eaten. We usually do not get desert, but everything so far was so delicious that we could not pass it up. We tried the white chocolate banana cream pie and the butter cake, and an espresso martini. “WOW! What a WONDERFUL restaurant in downtown Greenville!! My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous meal last night. We started with the lobster bisque and an order of hushpuppies which were both great. The crawfish etouffee and redfish stir fry entrees were generous portions and the beignets were the perfect ending after a fabulous meal. I loved that the waitress had a good concept of the menu to recommend my dish and she gave us a sample of the bisque before we ordered. The chef came by to see if everything was good. “I was fortunate to have found Shoeless back in 2015 when my kid was doing karate next door. Although I live in Piedmont, Shoeless is and always will be my local (which as a British person is important). I bought my first brew kit here, celebrated a friend’s divorce here, have made wine here, and I can’t even tell you how many evenings and lunchtimes have been here. It’s welcoming, comfortable, and the owners and staff are very knowledgeable. It’s dog-friendly, and my kids have grown up here (don’t get me wrong, you’re not going to fight kids here). Brew-wise, I have tried a lot of breweries in the area over the years, and Shoeless remains my favourite. The selection is great, and although my partner and I have very different tastes, we’re both always happy. It’s just a good and welcoming place to be.”

“I hosted an event for 125 people at New Realm in October. Carley, the event manager, was absolutely wonderful to work with. She helped me put together this event less than two weeks before it happened when or original venue closed. She worked within our budget. The time of year was perfect to have the doors open and make good use of the outdoor space alongside the train tracks where we had someone playing music and singing. We had a very large silent auction that they allowed us to set up earlier in the day. They've hosted plenty of events with auctions, so they had ideas of the best way to set it up and still give us good use of the space for guests. This building is gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the drinks came out fast! The bar staff working with our group was incredible. “ordered pressco shrimp which was nothing more than pasta water as a sauce. not impressed. ordered the risotto stuffed for an app which never made it to the table and here's the kicker...when we approached the server for seating mind you the restraunt was wide open they attempted to give us a table for two right in the middle of the main doorway from the lounge to the back dining area. I immediately requested a different table. I expected much more. I was let down. sorry guys but it is what it is. rating would be a poor experience based on this FIRST experience. not sure if there will be another.”

“I recently visited Crumbl Cookies and was blown away by how delicious their cookies are! Each one is fresh, warm, and packed with flavor. The rotating menu keeps things exciting, and I loved trying new flavors alongside some of their classic cookies. The quality and taste are truly top-notch, and it’s hard to leave without taking a box home.

However, the staff experience wasn’t as sweet as the cookies. While they got my order right, they didn’t seem very welcoming or enthusiastic, and it felt a bit rushed at the counter. A little more friendliness would have made the visit perfect.

Overall, the cookies are absolutely worth it, and I’ll definitely be back for the treats—they’re just that good! I hope the staff experience improves to match the quality of the cookies.”

“We have had two wonderful experiences at this First Watch. Excellent food and service and highly recommend. However, what I do NOT recommend is purchasing gift cards from the company’s online website. We ordered one as a gift on 12/2 and it was to be mailed. Our credit card was charged on 12/2, but as of today, it has still NOT been shipped. We called and it was difficult to completely understand the lady on the phone. She said she would have them “reship” even though we can see it was NEVER sent in the first place. Confirmation number was given when pressed but it was the same as order number. Now, we are left unsure if it will ever arrive. This has left a bad taste in my mouth.”

“We had such a fantastic experience thanks to Will, Chef Grant, and Garrett! I came in for dinner with family and we were blown away by the full service bar and the level of care we received. Our bartender was friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, every drink was made perfectly and came with great conversation and genuine hospitality. The oysters were an absolute hit! (So were the margaritas)

We enjoyed ourselves so much that we came back the for brunch a day later, and somehow it was even better. The drinks were fresh and creative, and the service made us feel like regulars. It’s rare to find someone who can elevate both dinner and brunch so flawlessly.

“We went for coffee today for my daughter’s birthday and they surprised her with a cheesecake and announced her birthday over the speaker. So sweet! And when we got the wrong size coffee they immediately made a new one and let us keep the original one in the meantime. And everything was amazing!”
