Everybody works. No wait staff standing around in their phones. They are too busy providing excellent customer service. The food comes out hot( or cold) if appropriate cold, and cooked to perfection. Nice portion size. And fair pricing. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed.“

“It was OK, not sure it lived up to the praise everyone gives it. Our server, Jenny, was super nice, attentive, and knowledgable. The appetizers (she-crab soup and fried oysters) were outstanding, particularly the oysters which were perfectly fried and juicy. The main courses were the let-down. My wife's shrimp were overdone, my son's fish was heavily fried almost as dark as the table, and my scallops came out with the saddest rice pilaf I've ever seen...just a couple specs of dull vegetable in them. Maybe I should have gotten the vegetable side and it would have been a better pairing. 4 stars for the apps, server, historic atmosphere and view. I'd give it another shot but maybe stick to the fresh catch or oysters.“

“The shrimp was the best thing on the menu. The fish wasn’t that great, I have had better. The fries were fried in the same oil as the fish and you could taste it. I would be cautious if you thought about ordering the chicken fingers.The coleslaw was tasty, I wish they gave you more. The hush puppies were ok. I didn’t like the crab cake but my dad enjoyed it. I like that this place is inside of lakewood camping resort and you can eat almost right on the beach.“

“We’ve been here twice. We’ve had the honor of having the same server/bartender. The first time we sat outside and she was very attentive, despite us being the only table outside. Tonight we sat at the bar and got the same level of service and FOOD. The food is amazing!!!! Kyley is amazing and we hope she’s our server every time. We also are super picky. The fresh oysters are FRESH and the buffalo shrimp are amazing“

“We went to Landry’s Myrtle Beach for our 40th wedding anniversary 6/23 and I’m so happy we did! Food was excellent- service was top notch!! Our server was Denis and he was just wonderful. “We were staying at the Hilton Myrtle Beach and knew there was a boardwalk that connected the two sister hotels (Coastal Grill is in the Embassy Suites). The Sales Manager (Alan) for both hotels had recommended the new restaurant here (it was actually the Black Drum) but we ended up here when we walked in so we assumed this is where he sent us. No worries though as it was excellent. I had the Slap Burger which was one of the best burgers I have had out...the bacon on it was crispy! Be aware that the portions are huge...the club my friend ordered ended up feeding two people...she took half back to a coworker. Our waiter although soft spoken was very good and laughed at our stupid jokes. We will be back here next summer so I plan to try the Black Drum then...or maybe I will just go back here for another burger as it was so good!“
