“My husband and I came to your restaurant with 6 other people our experience was wonderful until a fly landed in my glass of wine I asked for the manager (Nick) I had about a third of a glass of wine and that's EXACTLY what he brought me, I asked are you kidding, he said no we don't give away free Alcohol, that was rude!! we spent over $600 in your restaurant. I told him this is a high end restaurant and this is how you handle this over a $10 glass of wine. We weren't done dining, but when this happened we got our check and left.. I was so disappointed and he told me sorry you feel that way!!! We won't be back any time soon and I love dining there.“

“I was thinking about how many times we have eaten here over the years. At least twice on our summer beach vacations. The restaurant was recommended to us by the owners of the very missed Rossi’s. We have never had a bad meal here. First, thanks to Kristen for excellent service in spite of her very busy section. Food, as always, was excellent. Lobster bites and lemon pepper shrimp were a great start. I had one of the catch of the day specials, grouper with scallops. Well prepared and delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. House made desserts were delicious especially the Key Lime pie. We will be back next week!“

“The food is great! The only reason why I gave it four stars was because when I got there shortly after they ran out of fresh oysters on the buffet. For the amount of money that I spent there I would expect them to have a full buffet until close.
We travel there at least twice a year to eat as a family. The buffet is around $50 per person. With a family of five you expect the availability of all products when you arrive. It's not like I could go back the next day or afford to do so.“

“We come to Myrtle Beach once a year. This was our first and will not be our last. The service was fantastic and our server was Tia ask for her she is the best!!! The food was also amazing and the seasoning was fantastic!“

“While vacationing for five nights in North Myrtle Beach this past week, we enjoyed dining at The Chesapeake House twice…it was so delicious. We also had outstanding service by Debbie and Buddy! As soon as you’re seated, a basket of delicious hush puppies with both tartar sauce and honey butter are served, and sitting atop of the hush puppies are insanely good cinnamon rolls! You’re also given a small cup of their famous Fish Stew, which I was hesitant to try but it was fabulous, especially with the hush puppies!! A garden salad also accompanied our meals. I highly recommend the Oyster Stew, Shrimp and Grits and Seafood Platter…it’s all incredibly good!!! Be sure to take home some cinnamon rolls!“

“We love coming to sneaky beagle. It holds a great value in our hearts. With their adoption events, I have met my girl Raven and my parents have met their dog summer. We go almost once a week since it’s very dog friendly and I can bring my dog there. I would give it 100 stars if I could. The staff knows us and recognizes us everytime. I will always be grateful and loyal customer of sneaky beagle.“

“Was there Wed night, great buffalo shrimp, phenomenal oyster combo. Bartender super nice/sweet. She hooked the oysters up herself. This is my favorite go to place when I'm in town. “We were there on March 15, 2023last week. The food was great, great atmosphere, the staff was great. We loved the entertainment also. It was great all around!!“

“My sister and I were lucky enough to catch them the night before they close for a winter week.

Without a doubt, the best fried oysters (appetizer) I have had anywhere on the GrandStrand in 30 years.

Even though they are shutting down for a week, our broiled flounder was great and perfectly seasoned.

It was a quiet Sunday night and we had wonderful, attentive service.

So happy to rediscover this place and looking forward to coming back with rest of family!

“Great places to come get some food with friends or family. Other reviews don’t seem to accurately describe this place. The teriyaki chicken lettuce wraps were so good! The wings are true to the name and are jumbo in size, we got buffalo and garlic parm and it was good. Only thing that we didn’t like is that the cocktails were expensive so we didn’t try them.“

“The shrimp was the best thing on the menu. The fish wasn’t that great, I have had better. The fries were fried in the same oil as the fish and you could taste it. I would be cautious if you thought about ordering the chicken fingers.The coleslaw was tasty, I wish they gave you more. The hush puppies were ok. I didn’t like the crab cake but my dad enjoyed it. I like that this place is inside of lakewood camping resort and you can eat almost right on the beach.“

“Came here while on vacation and staying down the boardwalk at the Hilton. Read the reviews before coming and gave it a chance anyway. Glad we did! I had the shrimp tacos which were yummy! Plenty of plump shrimp over the best tasting coleslaw topped with marinated onions. My husband had the jerk chicken and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. For appetizer we had cocktail shrimp and they were pretty standard served with horseradish sauce. Service was outstanding. Our waiter, Dima, was attentive were and friendly. Prices were fair.“
