“I absolutely love Sushi yama. I've been coming here since they've opened. This is the first place that introduced me to sushi. I've never had a bad sushi here. My husband and I came here for an omakasi for our anniversary. Chef Rick and all the staff were extremely nice and personable. The food was absolutely amazing and probably the best food that I've ever tasted. We are already planning our next omakasi with them!”

“We had a party of 10 stop in today 4/12/2025. We waited forever to get someone to wait on us. The food was terribly disgusting The pork chop looked like it had been in water for days and it smelled sour. 3 of us ordered Grilled pork chop Mashed potatoes, cream corn, Mac and cheese were nasty. The cucumber salad was slimy. pinto beans were straight out of the can not heated up or season at all. Someone in our party ordered a tuna sandwich that took forever it was straight out of a can no season at all we got it as we were leaving My first and last trip ever to this restaurant. We spent 80.00 and didn't even eat the food. We left the food on the table. We shouldn't have paid for it but we didn't want to argue so we got up paid and left. This restaurant needs to be closed down.”

Either way, Tandem is our “happy place!” Sitting at the counter and watching their well-oiled machine in action is amazing. They have crepe and coffee making down to a science - and the smiles of the crew are an art form that glorify God!”

“D’Cafe has incredible atmosphere and energy! Not only was everything I ordered hot and delicious, but you can tell it’s intentional and very high quality. The owners were there on a busy Saturday with huge smiles on their faces. Also, Instead of just selling his own beans (which he imports from Costa Rica) he introduced me to his barista who told me about their coffee bean company. THIS is community and collaboration. I am so excited to see small businesses who care about community thriving like this, I will absolutely be back.”

“I want to commend the Pink Mama's Ice Cream bus driver. I personally witnessed him stop his vehicle at a crosswalk at 385 and West Georgia Rd. He helped an elderly lady cross the street in heavy traffic, ignoring his own safety to do the right thing. The best part was when the elderly lady got to the other side of the road he handed her an ice cream sandwich, free of charge. Anyway, these guys exemplify what being a civil servant is all about!!! Please contact them when you have an event.”

“The cook she was great, the server she was terrible. The server was not friendly at all, bad attitude when she brought our food on 8/10/22 at 6:45 pm the server never came to refresh our coffee and left the cook all alone with all the tables full. Manager needs to pull security and see this. For 25 minutes we never saw her again. We finished our meal and she still was not back. The cook was having to cook, clean tables. wait on customers, she was doing a great job. TR waffle house hope you look at your security footage.”
