The fried chicken and mashed potatoes are as good as most regular sit down restaurants.While you order from the Roost counter, you will pay at the 7 eleven register from a order receipt. “As someone who doesn't eat red meat, it is often hard to find good BBQ that isn't chicken as an option. The turkey was tender and MOIST. The "fries" were so tasty I would be happy to eat them as a meal.“

“Food is good. I wouldn’t recommend ordering take out because they skimp you on sauce and food unfortunately. I always have a good experience with the server. He literally runs that whole place by himself. I’m seriously always impressed by him and hopefully he’s getting all his tips and not sharing it with the nuisance/ eye sore that sits behind the counter stuffing her face while scrolling on her phone constantly in front of customers. She’s so rude and has terrible customer service skills. I come here pretty often and she’s always behind the counter doing the same sh’t. When I have to go to the counter to pay, she never acknowledges or even gets her face out of the phone to speak to me for two seconds. I’m in the food business, so I am all about good customer service and handling the tasks professionally. I’m a good tipper and I expect it to be worth it in all aspects. Again, Food is great. Server is amazing,. just not a good experience with the two behind the counter 🤷🏻‍♀️“

“I love Jack’s, specifically the charlotte location. The food is great, the staff are friendly, the price is reasonable and you can even pick up at the drive through if you’re doing takeout. The pulled pork plate with two sides and a drink is like $18 or something. Such a good deal, great sauces and sides and the pork is exemplary.“

This is a little bitty place surrounded by a lot of other little places at the farmers market in Nashville the most juiciest tenderness, meat best barbecue sauce, macaroni and cheese green beans with lots of flavor best sweet tea. “Took my husband here, it was both of our first time. Don't be fooled by the building outside. I cant speak the inside because I didn't go in. His food was sooooo good. Although he asked for grilled porkchops they gave him fried......still was good. The smell made me ask for a piece. Lol. He ordered grilled porkchops Cabbage and greens and an order of cheese fries and a lemonade all for $20 Portions were small but the order of cheese fries was standard. All in all I would definitely return when im in nashville except I'll be ordering me something next time. Lol“

“When i went to the smoke shack, i was in a darker place. My wife just left me for my neighbor, my kids left me for a different neighbor, and my dog was killed by a meteorite. I was devastated. And i was in a wheel chair after i was struck by the same meteorite that killed my dog in a separate incident. But that all changed when i stepped in the smoke shack. Once i opened the door, I could immediately walk again, my wife and kids came back to me, and my dog resurrected to join us. Thank you, smoke shack.“

“We decided on our morning breakfast to try here! It was amazing and the atmosphere and service was amazing…. Amazing menu options and Jams and biscuits. The Bronut was a biscuit stuffed with cheesecake, Fried Green Tomato Wrap and Pimento Cheese and Bacon Omelet was just a few menu items of amazing unique meals. We started off with a Biscuit Basket and Bronut (biscuit stuffed with cream cheese filing and deep fried and smothered in a blueberry compote) many assorted jams from mild to spicy. The pepper jams and jelly’s were amazing and flavorful. My wife had a bacon egg and cheese biscuit with potatoes, my daughter had the Pimento Cheese and Bacon Omelette, our son had the Daniels Big Breakfast: and I had the bacon breakfast tacos…. All our meals were great and fulfilling. There potato’s and grits were extremely flavorful and perfect sides! I highly recommend and give this place 5 stars for service, quality and food~ Julia the Kitchen manager was amazing and very warm and welcoming! TK our server was extremely accommodating and helpful!“

We had smoked BBQ Pork sandwich, Smoked brisket sandwich, Mac and cheese, collard greens, fried okra and home made fruit ice tea! They also give you a hand wipe and dental floss.
