From the moment I stepped in, K greeted me with the type of customer service that should be put in a museum. She didn’t just say hello—she delivered a whole warm-hearted, personality-filled vibe that made the entire store feel brighter. I watched her handle a line that would’ve broken weaker baristas, and she did it with precision and a smile that probably cured someone’s seasonal depression. She remembered multiple people’s regular orders without checking the screen*ñ—a skill that deserves its own award ceremony.

Then there’s Nanny, who was working the register like she was conducting a symphony. I swear every order flowed smoothly because of her. She’s the kind of person who makes you feel lighter just by talking to you for 30 seconds. She complimented someone’s nails, joked with a customer having a rough day, and somehow kept the line moving fast enough that nobody even had time to impatiently refresh their phones. If Starbucks is ever looking for someone to train employees worldwide, Nanny should be the candidate.

And Emm… listen. Emm is the reason your drink tastes better than usual and you don’t know why. Their bar-making talent should honestly be studied. My drink came out looking like it belonged in a commercial—foam perfect, drizzle symmetrical, temperature ideal. Emm works with this quiet focus that screams professionalism, but the moment you talk to them, they’re funny, calm, and effortlessly kind. The balance? Impeccable. You can tell they actually care about the craft and not just the job.

What stood out most was how well the three of them worked together. There was no chaos, no shouting across the café, no mixed-up orders—just pure teamwork. At one point, K handed off a drink to Emm with such smooth coordination it felt choreographed. Meanwhile, Nanny was connecting with customers like she’d known them for years, keeping the mood light and the line moving. I’ve been to many Starbucks locations, but few operate at this level of synergy.

The store itself was clean, the music was the perfect volume, and every customer left smiling—because how could you not with this trio setting the tone?

Shaylan was training a new employee and she was so sweet and so gracious, I am incredibly impressed as somebody who has been in management for a long time and understanding that working at Starbucks is a very difficult thing because there’s so many beverages you have to remember, and it’s very high demand and people are very picky. “If you don’t do it for the coffee/teas, then please stop by for the staff! Every single member of this staff at the Steven’s Trail location is beyond wonderful and friendly. Silas is the burst of energy that us early coffee zombies need. He’s upbeat and positive every time I drive thru. His drink recommendations and spot on. I cannot recommend this location enough! I’ve never had a messed up drink nor a bad experience here. Props to all the employees here for keeping a positive attitude during these crazy times!!!!“

“I would give 5 but today's experience wasnt great. I have coming here many times and I will continue to come here as a customer however when the two young ladies that took my order and we're disrespectful are working I will not be coming into this location. The older lady and another employee always make my order right on the first go are always happy and very friendly even when it's early in the morning and they just open. However the two people who took my order today they were teenagers and they were polite they were friendly they fixed my drink after they screwed it up the problem is after they fix it they walked away from me and then started talking about me I could tell they were and that's just not cool to do in front of customers. They have a habit of serving burnt coffee and they don't make coffee very well. You can just tell the difference between somebody who loves coffee and enjoys their job and somebody who doesn't put love into their work.“
