“I have been wanting to go here and finally got the chance. We pulled up and my wife wasn't sure about it. It is a small, unpretentious looking place but once she opened the door it was all over but the eating. Kenji, Saundra and the staff were very gracious, helpful and friendly. We arrived at 4 PM to miss the crowd. We started with fried rice which was the best I've had in years. Then my wife had the noodles and pork and I had the bibimap skillet. The flavors were mouthwatering. No other way to describe it. Don't think about it. Just go if you can. My new favorite spot around Nashville. They were even featured on Diners, Drive Inns and Dives.”

The truth is, Puffy Muffin nails every aspect of a first class bakery and brunch style menu. But alas, the Brentwood egotists are gonna hate. Excellent chicken salad! Fantastic hash brown casserole! And the bakery items are top notch. So delectable. I’ve never had anything bad or disappointing here. And if it’s not up to your expectation, they always want to make it right.”

“It's ok. Drip coffee is usually good. I like how they serve their espresso with a small glass of sparkling water. The muffins are pretty stale and underwhelming. The staff are not rude, but they aren't friendly either in my experience. This place can get really busy with lines out the door, but it is usually fairly quick.”

“I've been going here for approximately 30 years. It's a family owned business that the next generation is successfully running and they haven't changed a thing. Wonderful, fresh food at a good price and value, simple cafe atmosphere with an inspection rating of 100%.

We travel from Birmingham, AL through Nashville and stop but we look forward to the meal from the time our trip is planned. I recommend the gyro or gyro salad, hummus and pita bread and I love their iced tea. Simple, fresh and always a delightful meal, I recommend!”

Their breakfast and brunch options are delicious, the coffee is always good, with different choices available, the atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is one of the few places that serves great crepes, that don’t taste like a cardboard, Waffles and omelets are also available. Overall, a great breakfast/brunch place, where you can work peacefully if you want to get out of the house or office.”

“We have dinner at this establishment at least twice monthly. Exceptionally clean, excellent service, and food that is highly tasty and consistent! The ambience is unbelievable, truly one of a kind! The French dip is my favorite in all of Nashville, with excellent taste, and quality. The whitefish, blackened is to die for! Everything we’ve eaten, and every visit has been nothing, shy of exceptional, so glad to have them in our grand town. We’ve traveled the entire US and most of Europe, and this is one of our very favorite restaurants!”

The team here is quick, courteous, and really keeps the line moving even during peak hours. My order is always right, and the café area is one of the cleanest I’ve seen—tables wiped down, drink station spotless, and the vibe is calm and comfortable even when it’s busy.

Special shoutout to the staff for being so upbeat and welcoming. Whether I’m grabbing lunch between meetings or settling in with my laptop for a few hours, they make the space feel inviting every time.

Bonus: they actually keep the bakery case fully stocked throughout the day 👏
