“Catfish O'Boy was fantastic, and so was the Bartender Laura!!!! She had a difficult table near me, and handled them like a Pro!!!! She was effortless in taking care of me, them, and her other guests! The place wasn't too busy. My food was perfect and Laura never let my drink go empty, even when the difficult people near me gave her a hard time!!!!“

“Apr 2024 - After our Bluebird Cafe plan fell through, Marjie made early reservations at Jane’s for Dinner and music on Sunday night. We thoroughly enjoyed the unique menu, especially the okra appetizer. John, the proprietor, told us about his place and we settled in to listen to Addy/Domino. Fantastic musicianship from the various band members who seemed to gradually increase every few songs. I’m not sure we ever heard any original material like I expected, but she’s a wonderful singer of classics. We headed back across the river and got to see the TN statehouse all lit up on the hill.“

From crafted cocktails, crispy avocado rice, bacon wrapped dates, lamb that melted in your mouth, so much of the newly crafted autumn menu that we were able to enjoy, plus staff that made us feel like we were the most important people in the room (we are talking especially about you, Ally!). “The restaurant was full when we arrived, so the manager immediately permitted us to sit in a closed section. Our server was at our table in no time with a great attitude and smile, which always creates a wonderful morning vibe.I ordered the big ole burrito and my wife ordered the Avo smashed toast...they were both FANTASTIC!! This food is not your average airport food. If you want great food in a nice atmosphere, then this is your place...We will definitely be back when traveling through Nashville's airport.“

“Typical steakhouse feel and decor. Started off with the buttery rolls and cinnamon butter, it was hard not to eat to many rolls. Up next was a Cesar salad, good size salad and tasted good. Got a 20oz ribeye and baked potato they had on special for the night, both were good as expected. Real similar to a Texas Roadhouse. Overall all the food was good, the server we had was really good and friendly. I’ve eaten here a few years ago and it’s exactly the same goodness.“

“Shout out to Charlotte and Pit Master Mike ?!!! Everytime we visit, everyone is so welcoming and makes the whole experience awesome! Been going since before the move. Food and prices are amazing! I've legit never had anything from here that wasn't good, including tea. Not every place does sweet tea right lol! “Service was great! Everyone was friendly and quick to wait on guests. Food was good but nothing to really write home about. We had country fried steak, pot roast, mashed potatoes, fried okra, macaroni and broccoli bake. Not allowed to take anything with you which I can understand if you ordered all fresh stuff and then ask for boxes but if you don’t finish your first serving you should be able to take it. “Great catfish dinner! I was in town for the National Cornbread Festival and picked up dinner from here the night before. It was so delicious and that I did pick up the next day. The catfish fillets and the whole fried catfish was fantastic.....and all those sides(6 to be exact)! Can't beat the taste of the food, taste or price. “The Nashville hot chicken was ?. The collard greens were also delicious. You get plenty of food for your money. I'm glad I found this place. The service, food, and drinks were excellent! I will definitely be back the next time I visit Nashville.“

“My mom and I dined in on a Friday night and had the best service stating with Donna who took our orders. We sat in a booth and was immediately greeted by Alfredo who made sure we had everything for our food. He was so nice and even shared his favorite dishes to try next time. Then, Big Al stopped by to see if we needed anything and after sharing his favorites, he brought a sample of the turkey for us to try. So tender and juicy! I recommend trying the turkey, brisket tacos and catfish for entrees and for the sides: green beans, potato salad, okra, fries. Perfect Friday night!“

“Like a sign says Country Cafe fantastic food awesome service very good prices lots of food to choose from on the menu parking little tight outside.Parking: There might be parking behind the restaurant I'm not for sure but enough about the parking. The food was real home cooked food service was out standing give it a ? interested comment when I was finished and getting up from the table I have to take it slow cuz I have bad knees, a man next table from me said that's that home cooked food stuffed, that is some of that country humor? one last thing the country fried steak had to be at least half a lb . “I love coming here, first of all the food is amazing, affordable and get a large amount, unlike some of these other overpriced soul food places. The staff is amazing they have great hospitality not to mention how busy it was when I came here and they were very patient. I haven't been able to sit down here and eat yet but I make plans on it, it has a nice cozy vibe to it, sort of gives a homey feel.“

“One of a kind retro diner with a great selection of food and even greater prices but what makes this even better is the nostalgia it brings back if your from Nashville. I don’t believe it has changed that much since they opened it. The way I think about it and the family who runs it, it’s just a labor of love. “Our first time there. Just found by searching for breakfast shops. Our waitress was super nice and welcoming. She was so sweet with our 3 year old. Gave him something to color and draw on. Had him write his name on a paper and placed it on a wall so everyone can see. We will come back when we will be close to Nashville.“

“I bought the bar b que chicken salad and the buffalo chicken salad. Both of which I have bought numerous times before. The bar b que chicken salad was great but the buffalo chicken salad was so hot I could not eat it. I expect it to be spicy but this was way over board. Hated to loose my $7 but it had to be dumped ?.“

“I absolutely love Bones fish and more. Service is always friendly and the food is delicious like it is made with pure love and family tradition. The catfish sandwich is my favorite. Their fries are delicious, the Cole slaw (creamy sweet), and don't pass up the spaghetti (it's on the sweeter side and peppery, which I like). I recently got the caramel cake and it is so fluffy and fresher baked with melt in your mouth icing. The fruit tea is great to wash it all down with. Don't pass up this place. If you see it, get in line. The delicious made-with-love food is worth the wait.“

“Great find! Their food is delicious, the portion sizes are excellent, and the employees are so friendly and warm. I had the meatloaf with brussel sprouts and broccoli salad and it was amazing.Parking: It is a little tight, especially for a big pickup truck, but I think there are are adequate number of spaces for a typical lunch crowd“

“We always like the food at PDK but today we had an experience worth sharing. They were busy with the after church crowd so our food took a little long. “The BEST hot chicken and a true vintage East Nashville experience. The hot chicken is legit, but if you like catfish….this is it. The spicy catfish is 2nd to none and don’t forget the green beans. Seriously the best green beans I’ve ever had in my life. Bolton’s for life!“

“Local joes is one of the last good meat and threes in MJ. I'm not from Tennessee originally but when I moved here the idea of a cafeteria being available in many different places was amazing (I may have gained 20 lbs my first few years cuz I can't say no to a meat and some sides!)! After the closure of Courtney's, Local Joes has been a good replacement. They have fun family events like balloon animals sometimes and even when it's busy they deal with it pretty well. It's somewhere I would be proud to take my family if they ever decided to come to Tennessee to visit! I'm giving 4/5 because their food consistency is not always 100. In my photo my food was lukewarm and kinda just OK, but I've definitely gone before and it's been some of the best food I've ever had. They also go around giving cookies sometimes and that home style touch is what MJ is all about!“

“If you're someone who loves chicken salad this would be the place to go. They serve wide range of chicken salad. They do have soups, salad, and I think 5 fresh side items to go with your chicken salad sandwich. I love chicken salad and so does my husband. We've been here several times & love it. “Located at the very end of concourse D, this is a bit out of the way for most flights. It’s well worth it though. Great vibe, service, and food.We were surprised airport food could be real “date night” quality.You do need to make sure you have time though. Took about 40m to get our food. Luckily we got to the airport super early for our flight as we like to have buffer.“

“I’ve been here at least 6 times and just was introduced fairly recent. The food is fantastic! The service could be better always room for improvement. And as for the atmosphere it’s the location in Madison if that says anything. I mean it is what it is. But I am grateful for the good food and I recommend this spot if your looking for a good southern home cooked plate this is my go to. I am always prepared to wait 30 min or more but it’s worth it to me.“

“Spent a week at the Gaylord hotel on a trip, the one and only Jack Daniel’s bar became my go to very quickly. I appreciate the rough around the edges atmosphere and wood accents of the restaurant. The food is great and portions are good too. Little on the high side of pricing but it’s a hotel bar so just prepare for that. Wayne, Laura, and Angela are all very friendly and hard working staff who go out of their way to make sure you’re satisfied and serviced well. It didn’t take long to feel like a regular and always looked forward to hanging out with staff. I can recommend jack Daniel’s bar if you’re staying the Gaylord!“

“You know what you're getting before you go in. You know what you're getting and you will like it. Things change there only a little bit very infrequently. That's my experience going to these places coast to coast.. This one did not disappoint at all! Everyone was nice, and the food was good, and the tea was warm and sweet. Although they did run out of mashed potatoes on a sunday afternoon. I'll still go back, though. The food was more than decent, and they were super nice.“
