“We were driving from Nashville to Memphis for our kids’ sporting events and got hungry on the road. We searched for Italian places and found Picasso Bistro & Pizzeria. The restaurant has a nice outdoor patio that would be great for an afternoon meal or summertime dinner. Inside, the restaurant is spacious and has a separate bar area for adult fun. In the dining room, you also have a view of the pizza oven. We ordered garlic knots and cheese bread. The garlic knots were smothered in Parmesan cheese and came with marinara sauce. The cheese bread was deliciously made with the same sourdough bread as the pizza crust. It also came with three dipping sauces — garlic olive oil, pesto, and marinara. The pizza was amazing with the sourdough base. We ordered a large pepperoni to share, a chicken Parmesan calzone, and a ribeye wrap. All three were so yummy and the portions were large enough for us to take leftovers with us. The service was prompt and friendly. When drinks ran out, they refilled them quickly. In total, we spent around $100 for the four of us, which is about average for a night out with full meals, appetizers, and a couple of beers. Would definitely come back the next time we drive through Jackson, TN.”

“I’ve only been in Jackson for a few months, but after being in almost every state and country that serves seafood, especially Korea, this place is definitely at the top of my favorites list. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I got the S1 (1/2 pound snow crab legs and 1/2 pound shrimp). Plus the fried calamari! Try it out, you won’t be disappointed!”

“Been here a few times since it opened when I'm in the area. They're holding it together and they've been busy whenever I've been here. Stopped in tonight and left happy. Friend and I went with the special. The lobster tail might have seen a minute cooking that it didn't need. It was good, just not perfect. The crab legs and shrimp were perfect. The wait staff was proficient. I've heard the one in Memphis is better. I've never been to that one. I go other places when I'm in Memphis. This one in Jackson is good and others must agree because the parking lot is always full when I'm around. I'll continue to come here when I'm in town and enjoy it every time.”

“My first time here and you walk in and the place is a bit dated. I do however know great things can be found in these type of places. We caught the early bird and paid $13.59 for my fiancée and myself. One daughter was $8.99 and one was free. All in all a really good deal. Jessie brought us sweet tea and told us to have at it. She did a good job and checked on us a few times. This place is sensory overload at first. You can have a big old steak, ribs, roast, chicken wings, shrimp, catfish, meatballs, and ham. For sides it's all country stuff. There's greenbeans, yams, okra, mac & cheese, cabage, potatoes & gravy, greens, broccoli, spinach, pinto beans and everything in a southern garden. They had seafood items and a massive salad bar. The steak and mushrooms was phenomenal. I loved the fried okra and the greenbeans. Excellent mashed potatoes and gravy. Really no complaints with the food at all. I ate like three plates of food to try a bit of everything. Washed it down with excellent sweet tea that Jessie kept full. For dessert I ate a fantastic banana pudding and some peach cobbler. My kids are super picky and ate quite a bit. That alone made it worth it for me. For the price this place has exceptional value. The place needs a face-lift but I like dives and wasn't bothered by it. The food and price were on point and I'll definitely be going back. I highly recommend a visit and catch the early bird and get your senior discount. A really great meal and remember to tip your server. Ours was very good and friendly. Really a good experience at Austin's.”

“Hey just went out to for lunch at Logan's Roadhose in Jackson. Man Everthing was on point... Went in had no wait, was seated immediately and our drinks orders were taken right away. There were so many choices for Appetizers we order a bunch of them. By the time we got our Entrée's we were quite full. Brylie, our server was most accommodating and made sure our orders were made to our specifications. She kept coming back to make sure all was fine and kept refilling our glasses. The owner Aaron also came by a few times to make sure we were totally happy with our meals. If you look at the pictures below I'm sure you'll see the portions are Plentiful and L@@k Delicious. “I traveled a lot in the last 5 years and have eaten at 32 different locations. I have only ever had 1 bad meal and the MP Managing partner was on site and comped my entire meal and invited me back on her. When we arrived we were greeted promptly and everyone was smiling. The music was Christmas and the volume was perfect. Every where I looked was clean and well kept. Today Pam and I and a good friend Jeff who also spent many years in the food industry came in for a Sunday lunch. We began with a House margarita with a Patron kicker while Pam had a glass of Dark Horse Cabernet, and Jeff had water (light weight). We then had a Cactus Blossom which was perfectly cooked not grease at all but crisp and fresh. Pam had a Filet Mid Rare it was cooked perfectly With a house salad with Romaine instead of Iceberg and it was very cold and fresh my gal was very happy. Jeff had the Ribeye and Ribs which he devoured and never said much as he was busy stuffing his face. lol I had a 16oz Mid Rare Prime Rib with a house salad and loaded baker. The Salad was verry cold and crisp and the house made dressing was great. My potato was hot and fluffy. Now My Prime Rib was freaking great. for starters I think it was about 20oz instead of 16oz it was a perfect Mid Rare. Our Server was a gentleman named "Q". One of the best server I have come across in a long while. He had a great personality and very fun, and he had great menu knowledge, and was well versed in the wine list which I find very rare. The Manager Eileen came by the table and asked how we were doing. We had a great chat and we praised her staff and food and she put the focus back on her Staff, a true professional.”

So to say I grew up having authentic Mediterranean recipes brought here from the Arab nations. The food here is "spot on" and I attend often as this cuisine is hard to find. The light and airy texture, the perfect creamy consistency of the filling, and the balanced flavor profile definitely impressed me. It was such a bonus that there were gluten free since we were trying to find a birthday treat for my friend with celiac. Also, for anyone like myself who is typically thrown off by the texture and flavor of gluten free foods/ desserts, don’t let that keep you from stopping by. I promise you can’t tell that they are gluten free! Be sure to try the iced coffee too! The custom coffee blend is smooth, rich, and less acidic than most espresso, so it tasted amazing and was easy on the stomach. And the mascarpone topping was the perfect touch to the tiramisu specialty coffee. Overall, they have truly outdone themselves with this business. I will definitely be stopping by anytime I’m in town. What a great addition to Jackson!”

“Lovely and immersive winery experience. After you get off the main road, you'll drive down a country road and turn into a farmhouse driveway with a small sign. Around back you'll see the winery and the scenery opens upon the vineyard.

Inside the winery, the decor is purposely rustic with lots of wood grain.

On our visit, the staff was friendly and informative as we sampled the wine. Their wines lean to the sweet side. They also have a selection of wine themed gifts, candles, and preserves.”

“Our go-to place for barbecue and fixings, vegetables, value, and service. Just a bit west of Jackson on Hwy. 70. Has daily specials and lots of food for the money. We especially like the pulled barbecue, cabbage, green beans, stir fried vegetables cooked in olive oil, cornbread, and pecan pie. We have not come close to eating everything that is available.”

All they didnt eat they took back with them. I told a friend about Diddys and they got plates from there on 05/10/2024 and said everything was delicious. What a great dining experience.”

Box lunch is a deal that comes with your sandwhich, choice of a side (we did potato and mac salad, potato was the fave), a drink, and a large homemade cookie. Cookies were amazing! Price was 11.50 per box lunch at the time of this review, very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food you get. Also, the ladies behind the counter were nice as can be, new lunch spot for sure!”

This food is authentic. I highly recommend the steak burrito. My friend got eggs, beans, and rice. Judging by the quality of ingredients- it’s not the classic cheap distribution Latin food, that most if not all “mexican restaurants” use, that stray from their roots. Most people don’t know a lot of restaurants use a distributor for food and end up getting canned products. Not here amigo.

10/10 would recommend to people looking for real Mexican food.”

“We try not to ever do this anywhere, but sometimes it's unavoidable. We were placing an order 20 minutes before closing since we were passing through the area on our way home. When we placed our order, Kaitlyn did not know that where we live does not have a Marco's. Even though it was 20 minutes till closing, she was still so nice & helpful and it was very appreciated!
Unfortunately, there are lots of people at various other establishments that would not have been so kind & would not care if it reflected poorly on a business.
I hope her employer sees this & recognizes her customer service efforts. That is a rare find these days. We will definitely order from this location again.

“Doing a bit of cross country travel and stopped in Jackson, TN for the night. Was hungry for real food and found Clifton Brothers BBQ not far from my hotel. I ordered pulled pork and beef brisket. The food was fabulous! The brisket had the right amount of fat to be flavorful and moist. It was smokey and tender and really, it was perfect, so I didnt bother with topping with BBQ sauce.
Usually I prefer brisket, so naturally started with that. But then I tasted the pulled pork. It was PREMIUM! I'd be hard pressed to say which was better, they were both so good!
The staff were super friendly and the inside was clean and tidy.
If youre a bbq lover and in the area, you really should try this place out.”

I have to be gluten free due to celiac disease and even small amounts of gluten can make me very sick! He could make most of the food on the menu gluten free with just a couple of changes. So if you have to avoid gluten, this restaurant offers many options which is very rare! He understands that he must clean the grill, change gloves and be very careful with my food and make sure it doesn't come into contact with the gluten food.
