“We were driving from Nashville to Memphis for our kids’ sporting events and got hungry on the road. We searched for Italian places and found Picasso Bistro & Pizzeria. The restaurant has a nice outdoor patio that would be great for an afternoon meal or summertime dinner. Inside, the restaurant is spacious and has a separate bar area for adult fun. In the dining room, you also have a view of the pizza oven. We ordered garlic knots and cheese bread. The garlic knots were smothered in Parmesan cheese and came with marinara sauce. The cheese bread was deliciously made with the same sourdough bread as the pizza crust. It also came with three dipping sauces — garlic olive oil, pesto, and marinara. The pizza was amazing with the sourdough base. We ordered a large pepperoni to share, a chicken Parmesan calzone, and a ribeye wrap. All three were so yummy and the portions were large enough for us to take leftovers with us. The service was prompt and friendly. When drinks ran out, they refilled them quickly. In total, we spent around $100 for the four of us, which is about average for a night out with full meals, appetizers, and a couple of beers. Would definitely come back the next time we drive through Jackson, TN.”

Friend and I went with the special. The lobster tail might have seen a minute cooking that it didn't need. It was good, just not perfect. The crab legs and shrimp were perfect. The wait staff was proficient. I've heard the one in Memphis is better. I've never been to that one. I go other places when I'm in Memphis. This one in Jackson is good and others must agree because the parking lot is always full when I'm around. I'll continue to come here when I'm in town and enjoy it every time.”

“I traveled a lot in the last 5 years and have eaten at 32 different locations. I have only ever had 1 bad meal and the MP Managing partner was on site and comped my entire meal and invited me back on her. When we arrived we were greeted promptly and everyone was smiling. The music was Christmas and the volume was perfect. Every where I looked was clean and well kept. Today Pam and I and a good friend Jeff who also spent many years in the food industry came in for a Sunday lunch. We began with a House margarita with a Patron kicker while Pam had a glass of Dark Horse Cabernet, and Jeff had water (light weight). We then had a Cactus Blossom which was perfectly cooked not grease at all but crisp and fresh. Pam had a Filet Mid Rare it was cooked perfectly With a house salad with Romaine instead of Iceberg and it was very cold and fresh my gal was very happy. Jeff had the Ribeye and Ribs which he devoured and never said much as he was busy stuffing his face. lol I had a 16oz Mid Rare Prime Rib with a house salad and loaded baker. The Salad was verry cold and crisp and the house made dressing was great. My potato was hot and fluffy. Now My Prime Rib was freaking great. for starters I think it was about 20oz instead of 16oz it was a perfect Mid Rare. Our Server was a gentleman named "Q". One of the best server I have come across in a long while. He had a great personality and very fun, and he had great menu knowledge, and was well versed in the wine list which I find very rare. The Manager Eileen came by the table and asked how we were doing. We had a great chat and we praised her staff and food and she put the focus back on her Staff, a true professional.”

“My first time here and you walk in and the place is a bit dated. I do however know great things can be found in these type of places. We caught the early bird and paid $13.59 for my fiancée and myself. One daughter was $8.99 and one was free. All in all a really good deal. Jessie brought us sweet tea and told us to have at it. She did a good job and checked on us a few times. This place is sensory overload at first. You can have a big old steak, ribs, roast, chicken wings, shrimp, catfish, meatballs, and ham. For sides it's all country stuff. There's greenbeans, yams, okra, mac & cheese, cabage, potatoes & gravy, greens, broccoli, spinach, pinto beans and everything in a southern garden. They had seafood items and a massive salad bar. The steak and mushrooms was phenomenal. I loved the fried okra and the greenbeans. Excellent mashed potatoes and gravy. Really no complaints with the food at all. I ate like three plates of food to try a bit of everything. Washed it down with excellent sweet tea that Jessie kept full. For dessert I ate a fantastic banana pudding and some peach cobbler. My kids are super picky and ate quite a bit. That alone made it worth it for me. For the price this place has exceptional value. The place needs a face-lift but I like dives and wasn't bothered by it. The food and price were on point and I'll definitely be going back. I highly recommend a visit and catch the early bird and get your senior discount. A really great meal and remember to tip your server. Ours was very good and friendly. Really a good experience at Austin's.”

“Hey just went out to for lunch at Logan's Roadhose in Jackson. Man Everthing was on point... Went in had no wait, was seated immediately and our drinks orders were taken right away. There were so many choices for Appetizers we order a bunch of them. By the time we got our Entrée's we were quite full. Brylie, our server was most accommodating and made sure our orders were made to our specifications. She kept coming back to make sure all was fine and kept refilling our glasses. The owner Aaron also came by a few times to make sure we were totally happy with our meals. If you look at the pictures below I'm sure you'll see the portions are Plentiful and L@@k Delicious. Our waitress finally appeared and we explained to her that another lady had taken our drink orders but she never delivered them. Our original waitress ended up getting our drinks and then took our order. Evidently the original waitress was slammed with customers but when she was able she did check with us frequently asking us if there was anything else we needed. We will return in the future.”

One of the best server I have come across in a long while. He had a great personality and very fun, and he had great menu knowledge, and was well versed in the wine list which I find very rare. The Manager Eileen came by the table and asked how we were doing. We had a great chat and we praised her staff and food and she put the focus back on her Staff, a true professional.”

“We were driving from Nashville to Memphis for our kids’ sporting events and got hungry on the road. We searched for Italian places and found Picasso Bistro & Pizzeria. The restaurant has a nice outdoor patio that would be great for an afternoon meal or summertime dinner. Inside, the restaurant is spacious and has a separate bar area for adult fun. In the dining room, you also have a view of the pizza oven. We ordered garlic knots and cheese bread. The garlic knots were smothered in Parmesan cheese and came with marinara sauce. The cheese bread was deliciously made with the same sourdough bread as the pizza crust. It also came with three dipping sauces — garlic olive oil, pesto, and marinara. The pizza was amazing with the sourdough base. We ordered a large pepperoni to share, a chicken Parmesan calzone, and a ribeye wrap. All three were so yummy and the portions were large enough for us to take leftovers with us. The service was prompt and friendly. When drinks ran out, they refilled them quickly. In total, we spent around $100 for the four of us, which is about average for a night out with full meals, appetizers, and a couple of beers. Would definitely come back the next time we drive through Jackson, TN.”

“I’ll start out by saying they did have a mixup with my online order but when I called, they were extremely professional and worked hard to make it right. It looks like there’s something happening because of the online system, but the manager who is working tonight was doing his best to make everything work.”

“I've really come to like Capt D's. I've been to several other ones over the past few months. I would have to say that the food here was not as good as the one in Millington or in Paris Tennessee. But it was still good and had great service. But I would have to say that if you are ever in Paris Tennessee, it's definitely worth the stop.”

“On 8/9 we came through about 20 minutes before closing so we knew our service and drinks may not be the best but we decided to try anyways since McDonalds wasn’t serving coffee 🙄 (we prefer Dunkin’s anyways it was just a little out of the way). I didn’t catch the name of the worker but he was SOOO nice. My hot chocolate was 10/10. I’ve been to at least a dozen Dunkin’s across middle and west TN and I usually end up dumping my drink because it’s awful but I still try for these instances when it’s actually good. The passenger got an iced caramel latte and she also said it was the best she’s had in a long time. I wish yall weren’t an hour + from home or I’d be back a lot more often. Thank yall for making our night ☺️”
