“Hey nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes. when your order is missing something or even the cookie, they will make it right! I was greeted by my favorite cashier today! -- Lexi !!! -- She is always there to greet everyone with the warmest smile. They have a manager there that goes above and beyond to create a special atmosphere and a great customer service experience! ----- Ms Jordan ----- She definitely tries to nourish the soul from the inside out! “Our RV Club, The Rhythmic Rollers, had a luncheon there on March 12. The food was excellent! So much variety in meats and vegetables! The tables were easily moved so that we could sit in a group. We had a blast! The waitresses were spot on! The cooks are the best in Memphis! This is a great place with outstanding customer service!“

“I enjoyed the chicken salad. I had the basic chicken salad on a salad with ranch. It was good except for the cucumbers. They were really bitter. The pickle was excellent. Parking was insane. I had to park at Trader Joe's. I'll be back next time I want chicken salad and don't want to make it myself.“

“This food is so, so, so GREAT!!! The portion sizes are better than most. These folks are about to blow my food budget. I had to talk myself down from ordering from them on yesterday. The variety is everything! You can easily eat at this restaurant 7 days given the array of foods. I especially love the veggies. Well, I especially love the banana pudding [authentic, down-home style] like Muddear used to make back in the day. The entrees are exceptional. Did I mention the corn bread? Okay, order an extra loaf for snacking later- its that good and you better not dip it in gravy - oh, yeah. I think this place has soul food on lock. Easily. I sample the city eateries here and there but not anymore. I have found my spot. This food is the way to anyone's heart. The customer service is excellent. Very warm and friendly work team. I love the way they assist each other. Call-in orders are hot and ready at the time quoted. A++++ restaurant!!!“

“Was in town from SC for a job and this place caught our attention.. I ordered the fried catfish plate with Mac n cheese, fried okra, and cucumber salad for pick up… Food was ready in 10 minutes and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! Catfish was super crispy and seasoned well as was the Mac n cheese!! Definitely left us satisfied and next time we’re in town, we will be dining in! SOO GOOD!!!!“

“My first time at the Poplar location. The staff members including the manager were so friendly and welcoming. The manager suggested that I taste the broccoli salad and it was so delicious that I ended up adding it to my meal. The restaurant was very clean and the food was very tasty. I will definitely go back there again if I am in the area. Kudos to the staff 💕“
