Just like my grandmother’s! Yummy! Catfish fillet? Perfection! Only thing I didn’t care for were the hush puppies. They just didn’t have any flavor. They were big and well cooked. Others in our group had the pork tenderloin and said it was tender, juicy, flavorful, and delicious. The Mac and cheese were very cheesy too. “My Mother and I were looking for some comfort food after a stressful day and me not wanting to cook due to being later in the day; so I reverted back to my trusty Yelping reviews and found something new. Sweetpea's came highly recommended in the immediate vicinity and this definitely won't be our last visit. We entered the restaurant from the rear parking lot which is the suggested entrance and were greeted immediately by the host. While being lead to our table I was able to observe that this was a regular spot for everyone noticing several tables with just one customer who were enjoying a table full of dishes and other larger tables with several customers engaging in good company and food. Our waitress promptly greeted us while taking our drink order where I also asked for an appetizer of onion rings. Those Onion rings were absolutely the Best my Mother and I have Ever had! The batter was light and crispy accompanied by ranch and ketchup. Mama and I also both opted for the country fried steak with white gravy where we enjoyed every single bite. Also, if you are a lover of sweet potato casserole, you're probably going to want seconds. We're looking forward to our next visit.“
“Every time we go to Memphis, we stop here. Their food and service are excellent. One of us always gets the catfish and I choose either fried shrimp or the cuban. You wouldn't expect that the cuban would be a good choice at a restaurant that highlights seafood,but you'd be wrong. It consistently is the best one I've had regardless of the restaurant. Service is great. Refills come unsolicited,which is refreshing.“
“I just love Chicken Salad Chick with all the selections, friendly service, and great atmosphere. I introduced CSC to my husband and he was so impressed that he got an extra scoop to go. I got the Jalapeño Holly and grape salad. It was such a fantastic combo. Big portions and full of flavor.“

“It was packed after church services. They moved as quickly as possible to seat parties. When 1 family got up, the tables were cleaned and another family seated quickly. The only downside was they made you pay before putting your name on the waiting list. In my opinion it didn't make sense because if I no longer wanted to wait, they would have to refund my money. That's what happened with a few people in my group. After about 45 minutes, they requested a refund and left. Other than that the food was good & the staff is always friendly.“
