“Regardless of what these ladies are wearing, they are the best at what they do. Miss Katie behind the bar saw that my order was wrong and even though I wasn't planning on sending it back, she still had a whole new order sent out in less than 5 minutes. Sit at the bar, and these ladies WILL see that you are taken care of, period. The outfits are really just a bonus. Highly recommend!“
“Our server Paige was AWESOME! Very friendly, attentive, and professional/experienced! We enjoyed the food very much, and had a great end to end dinning experience. The hostess was also very friendly and professional! We love Wooden City and will definitely recommend it and return when we are back to the area!“
“This restaurant has great food, wonderful coattails and friendly service. We have been so disappointed in many restaurants serving “cheap versions” of authentic food but the food here was original and well prepared. My trout was perfectly cooked, my husband’s chicken pharm sandwich was delicious and the cauliflower gratin was to die for! Definitely worth checking out.“
“Food. Service. Atmosphere. All 5 big stars! Traveling and found this gem. So very welcomed by warm staff and very comfortable, chic and comfy vibe. Had one of the best Cobb salads of my life. All the food that came out looked and smelled incredible. I’m obsessed with the bar and the stools - could have hung out for hours. Can’t rave enough about the staff, wow, what a crew! This is how a business should be run. Thank you, Public House!“
“Amazing service, enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff, exquisite cooking and drinks! Executive sous chef Ben provided the best culinary experience my wife and I could have asked for in celebration our birthdays. Can not offer enough praise!“
“I ordered the quesobarria plate and my wife had the chicken mole. Simply put, I was blown away by the quality of this food. It's obvious the owner takes deep pride in his food and it shows. I love hot sauce and he brought out a house made pineapple and a mango hot sauce. The pineapple hot sauce changed my life. I can't wait to try more items on their menu“
“It was our first visit here, and we brought out of town family. The food was delicious, the patio was wonderful for kids, and the service was fantastic! Brett pushed tables together for us and was so accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be back and bring all of our guests here!“
“Amazing! Where do I even begin! The atmosphere reminiscent of a steak house I loved called Starks in Northern California. You smell the smokey wood fire smell with none of the downside. Air is clear and fresh. Kitchen is visible from most the restaraunt. Server Robbie was truly a server. He gave great suggestions and was very attentive. On his suggestion I tried the whipped feta appetizer which came with fresh made pita. I love feta but this was a whole new level with honey in the center. My husband ordered buttermilk fried chicken. It was tender and juicy on inside and nice crispy on the outside. Entrees are A la carte. I ordered the charred gem lettuce and wood oven roasted fingerling sweet potatoes. Hubbie shared all my sides and tried some of his chicken. Perfect meal! Then we ordered dessert. Because really that's why we came. My coworker raved about their tres leches cake. And it was topped with fresh whipped cream not from a can.hand whipped. Yummy. We will be back. So satisfied. Definitely fine dining but not snobby and dress as you like.“
“Morgan P. Is a great server I would come back because of her alone she greated me with a smile and made me feel so welcome. I could tell she was busy but gave my table great service. Excellent! Pulled pork was delicious and I loved the sauces will be back and recomend to everyone.“
“I’m not one to order a burger out very often, but I’m glad I did here. I’d say it’s in the top 5 best burgers I’ve ever had, and my husband agreed. Their potato salad was also AMAZING. Our server was Dalton and he only added to an already great experience.“
“Vegetarian options: My wife of 20 years is a lifelong vegetarian. There is always at least one entree on their seasonally changing menu. Her comments are that it is one of the rare places that the vegetarian dish does not come off like an afterthought. Always great to excellent. Service top notch. One of our favorite places to people watch and eat great food.“
“My 1st time giving any one business a 15 STAR rating. If you like fresh seafood, this place is a must go to!!!!!!1. Made to order Guacamole. She likes it chunky and fresh.2. Off the special of the day menu, I had to have the Soft Shell Blue Crab PoBoy. It was one of the best I had ever had in my life!!!3. Wood Grilled Squid. I LOVE LOVE SQUID... When it is done, correct! This dish hit the mark spot on PERFECT!!!!4. She had Crispy Fish Tacos and she loved the dish for all its freshness.5. I can not say enough about the FRESHNESS across the board on everything we had...6. From the atmosphere to the service, The Boathouse knows how to make a meal enjoyable. Something most others have lost since before the Covid collapse. My hat is off to all you that made this the best dining experience many years.7. I have to ask of one thing of management, please share this review with your staff.Thank you all...“
“The best fish and chips I have had!! My husband really loved the Brussel sprouts. The place was fun, had good music and an extensive drink selection. Will definitely be back!Kid-friendliness: They had a good kid menu but was surprised the drink was separate“
“Impressive burger lineup...with attention to every aspect of burger perfection! I was a bit skeptical at first...but the fact it was last year winner eased my doubts! Surprisingly really good burger...the subtle crunch from the wontons and the understated flavor of the chili oil tie it all together! trust the process!“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Honey Seed and it exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere was cozy yet vibrant, perfect for a laid back morning. The service was impeccable - attentive without being intrusive. But the real star of the show was the food. The tator tots are a culinary masterpiece. Their menu has something to delight every palate. I have allergies and they were even able to make me something that wasn’t on the menu. If you're looking for a brunch spot that ticks all the boxes, look no further than Honey Seed.Parking: Parking lot was pretty full.“
“My food was delicious beyond my expectations,I came to this locations and got the trifecta breakfast with the waffle! I also got four pieces of bacon, side of cheese grits,Shrimp and grits and Tropical sunrise… which with the waffle and cheese grits was the star of the show.I also got a chicken sausage which I will say you guys may have to go back in the lab with that one or get tradition sausage patties also…Additionally the Uber eats ordering thing needs a option to add cheese to the eggs!“
“I really hate it when servers trick you into ordering extras. I ordered the reuben. The server said "fries or chips with that?" So I assumed it came with one or the other. Nope, got hit with an extra $5 charge for the "fries." I paid $20 for a reuben and some potatoe wedge things (not even actual fries). Ouch.Just wanted to share my experience so others don't fall for the River Drift Fry Grift.“
“Very economical prices for a great breakfast. You could tell this was a restaurant for locals but you felt like you were a local when you walked through the door. Our server Sherry(not sure of spelling) was unbelievable. She was super accommodating and made you feel like she'd known forever“
“This was our first time. We went to the location at Cherokee Blvd. LOVED the French toast and Farm Stand tacos. But we were placed right between two other families and felt like I was at their table. It was really loud and I struggled to talk to my husband for hearing the conversation within elbows reach of me.“
“Slide into this dive bar looking establishment that is like a tardis, much larger on the inside, cool vibes and delicious food, even near closing time. Smoked wings were perfect moist and flavored on point. Waitress was fast with a good attitude, again for a slow evening close to closing. Block or so up the street, wall art of angel wings!“
“Doc Holiday's has quickly become my favorite place to go for some of the greatest entertainment this area has to offer! I've only tried their Chili in the 4 visits I've been there, but it's that good. I've seen others rave about their food and highlighting their steaks! Their servers Vicki, Leslie & Risha work their ever-loving butts off to keep all the patrons happy, I'd give them 10 Stars if it were available! Highly recommend Doc Holiday's“
“The food and service was great. My daughter and I ordered flap jacks for the younger kid which came with bacon and eggs. The teens ordered waffles and bacon and potatoes. My daughter had steak eggs and potatoes. I had the chicken and waffles. Chicken was friend to perfection. I really enjoyed the food and I will definitely go back and the pineapple mimosas was everything. ?Nice experience make sure y'all try it out ???“
“Love this place. The food is consistent every time and the service is friendly. My wife and I love the wings with the house sauce. I love the fried Buffalo chicken sandwich, it’s huge! The fried pickles are the bomb too! The beer is always cold and the prices are more than fair.Catch them on the weekdays around 2 pm to avoid the crowds and enjoy the outside patio.“
“The absolute best Southern Food in the area. Hands downs, some of the cheapest, most delicious, and fresh food in Chattanooga. I had the chicken livers with mashed potatoes and turnip greens. Everything, and I mean everything, was the best version of those things I've ever had from a restaurant. The chicken lovers were especially good. Those were the best chicken livers I've ever had, just period. You would be doing your mind, body, and soul a favor by checking this place out and don't forget dessert because their strawberry shortcake they have on Wednesdays is to die for.“
“Bailee and her trainee done a fantastic job with service! staying the night here and was recommended by a friend. . Urban Stack kitchen done a fantastic job with all of our food. place was very clean staff throughout was very attentive and Friendly. Job well done.“
“Beautiful brunch. Excellent food. Having the whole coffee kettle on the table even though I’m the only one to order coffee - YOU GET IT!! I’m coming back for that alone.Having the waitresses even joking with us and laughing (or Oscar-worthy pretending to) at some Dad jokes…icing on the cake.ps get the avocado toast…my 2 cents“
“I have been on a bit of a BBQ tour lately and thought I would put Sugar's on the list. I'm glad I did. I had the ribs with greens and mo' rockin stew. I thought the ribs were really good. Very tender, moist with good smoke. They have several sauce options that not only have good flavor but we're quite distinct from each other which was fun and delicious.I don't have enough experience with greens to compare but they were tender and not bitter and I thought really good with the clearly great sauce. The mo' rockin stew was nice too. Kind of a chicken and bean soup that was a nice change from the usual baked beans. The meal came with cornbread muffins. They were good with corn kernels and pieces of jalapenos. They were moist but probably the least noteworthy part of the meal. The restaurant sits up on a hill and has a nice view of Chattanooga. You can sit inside or out on the deck. There are goats on the property which are fun and friendly. The waitress was polite and pretty on top of everything. The cashier/hostess was a nice surprise. Energetic, friendly and engaging she was a nice throw back to classic American hospitality. Overall the whole experience was really enjoyable. I will definitely be back. I would recommend stopping in at least once. You'll be glad you did.Kid-friendliness: Has a kids menu and goats“
“This was my first time there and my wife got the ribeye which they cooked perfectly. I got the sweet tea brined pork chops which were the best pork chops I have had outside Mike's. We also got the pork belly appetizer which was amazing. The only downside was it was busy and our server was slower to get to us and ask us if we needed anything.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a weird elevator that you have to ask for and if you went alone I am not sure how you would. I found this frustrating being in a chair but understand but with it being. New building you think it would be designed better“
“OUTSTANDING!! This is must-try BBQ in Chattanooga. We’re visiting from Atlanta and chose Chatt Smoke House over a few other choices…best decision! Talk to James, the owner. He’s got great stories and his ribs and pork plates are fantastic. The beans, potato salad, Cole slaw and fried okra are some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Love it!!!“
“This is a great place to grab a bite to eat, we got the smash burgers and DID NOT REGRET IT! They have this bacon sauce that makes the burger beyond delicious!I tried the chips and phew, they gave me a ton of them, she got the French fries. The chips are decent. We’ve since been and got the buffalo chicken dip, awesome as well. The staff are all so nice. This is a great place!“
“This place is absolutely wonderful!! We have been several times and it never disappoints. Their drink menu is just as well thought out and delicious as their food menu.Their wings!!!!!!!!! Oh my goodness the WINGS!!!! They are an absolute must. Their grits ,"Skeeter Style" is also ?. It's a beautiful restaurant in a wonderful location. All the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. It's just a wonderful place to go.Parking: The parking lot is a pay lot but you just select the 15 minute option (free) and they will take care of you at the hostess desk. You just tell them what lot you are in.“
“Old school diner. Exactly what I was looking for. Knew I was in the right place when I walked in and everyone knew everyone. All the customers were local. Food was just right. Eggs, bacon, toast and HASH BROWNS! My goodness I like shredded hash browns. Service as A+++. Attentive. Smiles all around. Will be my go to when I come to Chattanooga.“
“I like the owners, but not so much the service. We ordered food that came decorated with whole garlic cloves. A waitress pointed out that the dish had too much garlic and made a gagging face. That surely boosted our appetites. Unacceptable.“
“Mary’s plate lunches are the best! No cans in her kitchen. Homemade desserts are delicious. And the grill is manned by Christopher and they will melt in your mouth YUMBO! The staff is attentive to your needs and they love the customers. No wonder they have been and stayed in business since 1918. Family owned and now run by the 4th generation. I’ve even seen the 5th and 6th generation helping when they are “in the weeds”. You owe it to yourself to eat there.“
“I took my girlfriend here on a date and didn't realize it was jazz night. It was nice to hear live music and didn't really mind. The food was amazing! We ate the salad, salmon, Burger, and carrot cake souffle. Everything was delicious! Our server was very kind and informed the kitchen on the dishes we were splitting and also boxed our leftovers for us. The kitchen may have been very busy because in total we were about a little over an hour and a half. I recommend eating here.“
“Best foo best deals ..i are there today for the first time and it was awesome .hot food flavorful food .. best n friendliest server's ..thank u for the best 1st experience..will definitely return...thank y'all for being y'all..y'all are awesome n amazing ????“
“We had the most delicious meal tonight. Tayla was amazing and so helpful on choosing what to eat. Chicken Parm was the BEST we’ve ever had.The Pork Chops were also so good! The hot fudge cake was so good too. We highly recommended eating here.“
“The food is excellent! We've been here a handful of times in the past year and I've enjoyed it each time. The service has always been terrific, the staff is kind and attentive. While it can be a bit loud at full capacity, I imagine that's the price you pay for the acoustics in an old building. It has a nice feel to it, the drinks are top notch, highly recommend.“
“Finally got a chance to visit this place. Had chicken fried steak, baby carrots, fried okra, biscuits (rolls), and vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup for dessert. Dana was my waitress. She is deaf, but we managed to communicate well. She did an outstanding job in my estimation.Parking: In front and along the side.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat level area, so wheelchair accessibility wouldn't be a problem. Parking lot is small ( from what I could see ) , I ended up parking facing the street.“
“Incredible food. The best restaurant I’ve been to in Chattanooga! The outdoor patio is amazing.Service was so friendly! I’ll always ask for Jeremy’s section. And Mary, the manager is so friendly as well. You gotta try the Brussels sprouts, Sweet Tea Chicken Sandwich w potatoes, and the Italian Sausage Flat Bread w Vodka Sauce!Everything was beyond delicious. Will make it a point to go to Hello Monty every time we visit Chattanooga! Can’t wait to try their other dishes, which looked amazing as well.Thank you, Jeremy and Mary for an excellent experience! And hats off to the chef!“
“Love this place, love, stand-up comedy and I appreciate you guys being open for business and bringing us all the hilarious personalities. Would like to please ask if you guys could bring “Felipe Esparza”. I would love to see him in person and I would have a huge group coming to you. The staff in this place is wonderful and it’s good to have this in town. Thank you so much for your contribution to the community having fun. Please bring back the “Tennessee Tramp””. She is fabulous as well. And hopefully one day we’ll get to see “Gregg Morton” One more time in this Location.“
“Such a cute spot! My favorites: Mint iced tea, poppyseed chicken, chicken & broccoli, carrot raisin muffins. The casseroles are great for dine in, carry out, or take and bake. It’s a great meal if you need to take dinner to someone or for an easy “homemade” meal that you didn’t have to make yourself. They also have a full spread of treats. The kids love picking something off the counter. Great outdoor dining.“
“I've stopped here multiple times after learning about Southern Star. I keep coming back because everything taste so good. I especially like fried chicken Wednesdays. If you're looking for a treat, try their shrimp salad and mushroom salad - deliciousness!!!“
“If you are not going to Lily’s for catfish, Friday, you are missing out. Wife and I were there at 10:30 which I thought was too early to get the catfish but we really wanted some and they happily obliged. Hush puppies, french fries, coleslaw, string beans everything was great. Hot stuff was really hot. I was packed. Had to take a box back home. Great prices too. Interior is a cross between Salvation Army and your grandmother‘s kitchen. I’m thinking that’s how they keep the food quality up and prices down.“
“Stopped in and grabbed a couple double cheese burgers I was greeted very quickly by the staff. It took a few minutes for my order but the friendly environment was excellent and had a nice conversation with a gentleman I just met. I will be back “
“Good food, cold beer, and good atmosphere, though lacks in seating. Great option for a beer bar on Signal Mountain with decent bar pizza, good burger and sandwich options, and delicious chicken tenders for the kids so good I tend(er) to steal a few bites when they order. Great place to grab a beer at the bar and meet some new folks. Have a good digital music system so you can load up some tunes and enjoy. Definitely a hole in the wall recommendation you can be confident in. Oh yeah - might have the best Onion rings I've ever tasted! Give'm a shot.“
“This is such a gem in Chattanooga! I love the variety and selection of beer - definitely well thought out selection of beer and types you won’t find anywhere else in the area. Great downtown historic vibe and atmosphere - the people are very helpful and help you understand the way the taproom works. Highly recommend for anyone in the area!“
“I'll keep this simple, as I just came in from the rain to have a glass of wine while it passes: do not get the rosé! Don't. It's... well it's a horrific acidic, bitter, cheap-tasting mess of a wine. I'm seriously laughing to myself at how much garbage it is.Otherwise, the place has a cute vibe and the bartender is friendly.“
“A fantastic and unique dining experience! You don't see German restaurants that often, so, especially considering the high food standards in Chattanooga, my wife and I had to try this one. I wound up having a sampling of much of their menu in their spätzle plate: two brats over spätzle, kraut, and potato cakes. It was delicious! My wife, who wasn't sure what to expect (having never eaten German food before) had their pimento cheese sandwich and was pleasantly surprised. Service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was not too crowded or overwhelming (surprising, as it was a Friday night). Definitely give it a try if you're in Chattanooga and looking for something different.“
“Growing up in Red Bank, I always thought this place was unique. Great decor, fantastic fresh food. A sandwich here isn’t like anywhere else. The service is great and quick! The owner/cook checked in with me a few times. This is somewhere traditions are made :) don’t forget a scoop of ice cream! I’m“
