“My first time here and “Jade” left a good first impression for my family and I. Jade was a great server and her service made us feel at home and comfortable. Love we got to try their waffle garlic chips as first timers. They had clean and mellow and calming atmosphere with good music at a comfortable low setting. We tried the chilaquiles and they were so good. *Please note a chilaquiles plate can feed 2 people. Great food and great amount of food. They are pet friendly as long as you eat on patio. Will definitely recommend and great job JADE we will be back for sure!!“

“My boyfriend and I have been coming here for well over a year. We love the grilled oysters and murder point oysters. I always get the Kirby swizzle. It’s super refreshing and he usually gets the Corpus Christi cup and enjoys it. The staff is great at managing a full bar. Even when they are packed, they acknowledge and move quickly to take care of everybody.“

“Mia’s table is a favorite with our family for after events, like softball games or productions. The portions are crazy huge! Always enough to take home. Service is great. I highly recommend the Jalepeno gravy. Get it no matter what and use it as a dip!“

“Dinner with the work associate. Service was prompt and very courteous. The food was delicious! Coincidentally we both had beef stroganoff. Highly recommended! We sat outside on a mild early May evening. There was a fair amount of street noise, but, that's to be expected on a corner of a busy street. Otherwise it was a perfect meal.“

“Great neighborhood restaurant! Lot's of different options in the menu and drinks. You can book a table if you want but we went on a Sunday night and there were plenty of free tables.The service was kinda challenging, not sure if this happened because we were outside and there were not so many customers at the time.The food is mainly responsibly grown and organic, so prices are a bit higher and portions are enough. Try the flourless chocolate cake!“

You only have fries?They actually have additional items and please refer to the updated menu that I posted.They are a bit pricey, and their prices have gone up significantly in past few months. I’m not sure if that is because of the supply and demand issue.I enjoyed the taste and the freshness of the food. I ordered a small portion of Bayou fries.Will I order this again? Absolutely. They are a bit pricey, but you can be the judge of the taste and portion size. “Wokker has an interesting fusion menu with American, Thai, Chinese and Koran influence. The brisket pad Thai was very good, but the Pickin’ chickin’ appetizer was nothing really special. Overall it was all good with nice Asian flavors. Great smoke and tenderness on the brisket too. I would certainly come try it again when I’m in the area.Kid-friendliness: No issue to bring kids!“

“This is a great Chinese restaurant for Cantonese food especially their clay pot rice. They have a lot of varieties of dishes served in clay pots with rice in. This is traditional Cantonese food and Rice to Meet You serve them very good. The only catch is that these clay pot rice takes long time (about 15 minutes) to cook. So just need a little bit patience for great food.“

“Went to this place last Saturday to celebrate my best friend birthday. The place was nice and the food really tasty. We were a large party 10+ with kids (from 3-12 years old). Everything was ok and we were having a great time until we had some trouble with the checks (they messed up eventhoug we were very clear about who was paying what) anyway, this was ok because our waitress was very nice and patient so we didn’t care that much. When they already “fixed it “ there was a remaining amount to be paid but we didn’t know from where since we all have paid it all. This waitress call the “manager”and when this lady came out, she was with and attitude like “I’ll give you shots and a Margarita but I need this to be paid” let me clarify we never had a problem about paying, just wanted to understand why if we had already done it. We ended up paying and she brought this shots with that attitude but honestly we were having a great time. Later than this, we (the moms) saw her talking to our husbans and we noticed something was going on. When I approached them, I was told that we needed to leave. She said to them that our kids weren’t behaving so we needed to leave now. I didn’t understand at first because she didn’t say a word or someone else while we were there. She was mad because our kids were playing in the place right next to it and said they weren’t allowed, but the man in charge of that place said they were good. Anyway, she brought this plastic cups and in a very rude way was standing by us like we were criminals. No one else came to say anything, it was only her! She claimed that she had told us so many times (no even one) and that we needed to leave the place. She was rude, she had no respect at all, she made us have a really bad time which is sad because honestly the place was very nice and we went there because it was a “kids friendly “ place and all we wanted to do was to celebrate my friend! I never write reviews, but at this time I felt the need to do it. So sad to have to say this, but not returning to this place while still in charge of zero prepared person. (She never said her name)“

“Been here 3 times already, love it every time, everyone in the staff is so incredibly kind, from the host to the bartender to the servers, also food is great with really healthy options, I feel so great after eating here vs heavier foods. I like the Mediterranean trio & the samosas. Not a fan of the soup but there are so many other good options to choose so still 5-stars all around. Its is a little pricey but worth it for a casual bussiness lunch or date night. “To all the 1 star reviewers - these people must be IMPOSSIBLE to please and must be miserable & unhappy with their lives!!! Complaining about chicken tender sizes? Have you been to Canes Chicken Fingers lately (since 2020)? They are about 1/2 to 1/3 the size they used to be...Pappy's Tenders are twice or triple the size of Canes! You get what you give as far as how you are treated! I've been eating at Pappy's since the late 80s! Best chicken tenders! Scorpion tails are great too!!! Cheaper than some fast food places! We usually eat here about 2-4 times a month! Thank you for the great service and food!!!“

“I ordered a little bit of everything because I wanted to try the whole menu. I narrowed it down to things that I thought were unique/wish they were vegan when I see them at a non vegan restaurant. First I’ll start off with the Buffalo drumsticks. You can find boneless vegan wings but it is hard to find a vegan drumstick and these were everything I could hope and dream of. I dipped them in their vegan ranch (the perfect combo). The texture was just like a chicken wing. I’m not sure how they do it but they were delicious! Next I ordered the vegan fried shrimp I thought I was eating real shrimp! I was in shock the taste, the texture, it was wild! I couldn’t believe it was vegan. They were so good! I had to get an order of fried pickles. I always want fried pickles but they’re never vegan. These were fried pickle chips they were battered perfectly, had a nice crunch and I dipped them in their vegan ranch it was exactly what I was looking for! I don’t have a photo of the crunchy tacos because I ate them and forgot to take a photo! I ordered the bean, cheese, lettuce and taco sauce ones. They are the perfect little snack and only $1.69 for two. For dessert I ordered the banana pudding shake and it was amazing. It was so creamy and had chunks of real banana in it. I was obsessed! If you are in Houston make sure you stop by and check them out. They are very fast and it’s so cute inside I had to take a photo of their lookin’ like a snack wall. This has to be the best place I have found in a long time told them to surprise me, and they did not let me down. “This is a fine restaurant sort of a throwback to and earlier time. The food is delicious I think their fried chicken is the best in town. The one thing I think they can improve on is their salads and the desserts are delicious. The staff are warm and friendly providing prompt service. Overall I highly recommend this as a go to when you have time and not rushed it is a great family establishment.“

Some entree items are cooked (and served) in a clay pot, but the menu is not exclusively clay pot. Lastly, the clay pot dishes are not clay pot rice casseroles that you might find at other Asian places.“

“5th year for the Crawfish Boil, venue is getting to small for this event. Need a parking lot to handle the amount of people. Restrooms were needed, especially for the ladies.
