“The staff was friendly, I ordered their honeydew milk tea with boba and the spicy tuna roll. The size is more of a Japanese size than an American size, that said, I am full after eating one whole roll by myself. The flavor of the sushi was very good, the fish and the avocado both tasted fresh and I liked the addition of the sesame seeds. The spicy roll itself wasn't too spicy (for me), but the wasabi was spicy (which is good because that means I could actually taste it! It wasn't watered down like how some places give you). The ginger was also very flavorful. Overall very well balanced sushi, with good quality ingredients. The ingredients are what make this place good ?“

The food was very good. I had Hot and Sour Soup (it’s complimentary if dining in), the Avocado Roll, and Kung Pao Chicken. Huge portions of the KPC, enough to bring 1/2 home for lunch the next day.
We were surprised not that many dining in, but they were VERY busy with takeout orders.
We will go back for sure.“

“Amazingly delicious katsu in an extraordinary, Asian fusion bowl. Katsu is normally served with finely shredded cabbage, at Bulldog, at least with the deluxe set it’s closer to a chirashi bowl with katsu on top. The crab, seaweed, and clam salads were fantastic and the red bean rice ball was a great addition. I just got back from Asia a month ago and had plenty of katsu there. Honestly, I prefer Bulldogs…great place, just try it. Also excellent value for the price and very friendly staff.“

“This is such an underrated place! Came here for a quick sushi fix and was blown away by the quality of their food. We ordered salmon avocado, shrimp tempura roll, snow mountain roll, and sex on the beach roll. The fish to rice ratio is on point, and everything tasted really fresh. “I have been so patient with waiting for the opportunity to finally try this ramen place! They opened up and by the time I had the chance to go they were temporarily closed. Needless to say I am very excited that they are finally open again! If you live in the 4 corners area of Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Plano you know that there's slim pickin's of GOOD ramen places around. I promise you that this one is so worth it!!! I placed an online order for take out and it said "ready in 20 min." I kid you not I walked into the building right at the 20 minute mark and the man was stapleing the bag to my order closed. Talk about precise! The man working told me that there weren't any bean sprouts in my ramen order because so they weren't fresh, to compensate he gave me an entire order of 4 veggie rolls. What?! Love that level of customer service! Plus, I was debating on even getting the veg rolls and now I'll always order them because they are delicious! Sushi was always amazing and the ramen was so good! The only adjustment I'll make to it next time is to ask for my miso veg ramen it a little spicy. My husbands spicy ramen was PLENTY spicy enough. He loved it!!! Now everytime I have a ramen craving we will be at Kuma!“

“Uni Sushi is THE best sushi restaurant in Plano. We’ve been eating here for years, and both the quality and portions of the fish are miles above other restaurants. You can tell they know what they’re doing because their food isn’t dripping in mayo to hide the low quality. The portions are big too. One or two rolls will fill up anyone. Try the chirashi.“

I see some reviews complaining the chicken doesn't come slathered in sauce but in my opinion that's a bonus. Anyways, the owners are so lovely and really care about the food they make.
