“We went Tuesday night and OMG! It was delish! The environment was great and staff were very friendly. They have outdoor decorations so you can take awesome Christmas pictures! It’s a must. I would have to say that this food truck has been the best I’ve been to. We’ve been to quite a bit and we were completely satisfied with the service! “I knew this would be a great place to take some friends who had never been to Texas before and wanted to experience non-chain Tex-Mex. The neighborhood, building, decor, staff and quality of food was perfect. However, the mirachi band is too much. Way too loud. It doesn't need to be so loud. It was if the horns had to prove they could play loudly. I get it, when a mirachi band is playing you don't have conversation, but wow, it doesn't have to be so overwhelming. We will go back. Great place!“

“If you want authentic TexMex, fresh and fast, Benjamin's fills the bill. They have an extensive menu of traditional Mexican fare and a few choices of standard American dishes as well. Don't know if I could pick a favorite but since refried beans come with all Mexican dishes, I will say that theirs are very tasty.
There is a couple cons. One is their parking lot...pretty bumpy. The other is that they are only open for breakfast and lunch. I've gotten around that problem by ordering a plate to go before they close and Voila! dinner a la Benjamin's.“

“I ALMOST SUFFOCATED EATING THEIR POZOLE!!!! I almost swallowed a Heineken beer bottle cap. I spoke to the business owner Oscar, whom admitted they add beer to their pozole. But he said that they have insurance and that I could do whatever I wanted. In another words he didn't care that I couldn't have died. A bottle cap can tear up your intestinal track. The picture shows the bottle cap that I pulled out of my mouth before swallowing it. Oscar, Insurance will not help if you die. HE TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS NEGLIGENCE!“

“Delicious! A great find down a won’t road and worth the drive! I am in love with their carne asada burrito! I have gone to every other Mexican restaurant here in San Antonio just to try the asada burritos and no one, nothing compares so far! I drive 15 minutes just to go get a treat, this special burrito from this taco truck. I hope they stay open forever and don’t change a thing about their recipes! The meat is seasoned so well and everything, even just the quesadilla is so tasty! This last time I tried the carne asada Sinceonzada (pictured. No burrito pic because I quickly inhaled it) which is like a flat 2 tortilla quesadilla topped with crema, lettuce tomato and avocado, (a plenty good amount of avocado!) and I realized I had to do a review! This place really has a special place in my heart, kudos to the chef, it has good prices too and a yummy creamy green salsa as well!“

“Food was delicious. Service was slow. Servers are not attentive to customers. I ordered two Barbacoa tacos and it took 20 minutes to get them. When they came they were on flour tortillas but I ordered them on corn. I didn’t get silverware or napkins. I’d go back for round two and give them a second chance to prove they are better than the service I received.“
