I was really sad to hear about the father. I remember seeing him in the kitchen making the donuts.
After his passing they sold the store (the new owner is a cool guy). The son seemed to be extremely smart, so I think he's probably gonna go bigger and better.
And yesterday I saw the original woman / owner (I'm horrible with names) and I was shocked. The new owner called her and said he was low on staff and she said she wasn't doing anything so she came in.
She said it had been 6 months! Time goes way too fast.“

“I experienced their donuts at a Lunar New Year event at Flow Yoga. I’m not usually a donut fan, but gave these a try. They are denser than typical, much closer to the ones my mom used to make. The flavors were so good! I got the tea infused one, the black sesame seed one, the yuzu and the mandarin. They were all delicious! If you need a new donut assortment for your next gathering, get these. “Grand Donuts has a handful of locations around Central Texas including this location along Little Elm Trail in Cedar Park. They offer a nice range of donuts, kolaches, coffee and related morning food items and are open from 5am to 1pm (Mon to Sat) and 6am to 1pm (Sun). Recently stopped by and picked up an apple fritter that was nicely baked, good portion size and reasonable priced. The fritter tasted very good at home with a fresh cup of black coffee. Would gladly return to Grand donut for another fritter based on this recent experience.“

The girl at the front register was super nice and friendly, and the extra donut holes were a great touch.

The sausage kolaches were soft and flavorful. The portion size was just right—not too small, not too big—and the price was reasonable for what you get.

“Just picked up breakfast for the first time at Angel Donuts and Treats. I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else for our weekly donut outing. The donuts are stellar, the cake balls are flavourful, and the macarons are perfect in both texture and taste. Staff was simultaneously helpful and laid back. Very low pressure atmosphere. The only possible downside to this place is that everyone else knows about it and a bunch of the flavours were gone within 4 hours of them opening. Go early, get the good stuff!“

“This place is delicious delight and decadence! If you’re gonna complain about the prices then just say you can’t afford it and go somewhere else. They are worth the weight and the money. The doughnuts are amazing and they always have some special limited ones to go with the holidays and seasons. The staff is friendly and helpful. “Shipley's Donuts is the best donut restaurant in Dripping Springs! I used to come here as a kid and get the Bostom Cream donut, if only they would bring it back. Yummy donuts and kolaches, clean restrooms, friendly staff, and calm atmosphere.

“Obsessed with these little guys. A sweet treat that’s not terrible for you. In fact, I feel good eating them because of the clean ingredients and protein. I’m always short on protein, so having it in a muffin I love is a major win. Side note: it’s impossible to have just one.“

I'm not a morning person nor a big breakfast eater but on the rare occasion where I wake up hungry there is only one thing that pacifies my hunger, a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich from Donut and Kolache Express. Somehow the bacon stays nicely crisp even after the short drive to work.

The donuts, sweet and savory kolaches, and breakfast sandwiches are all amazing. If you like sweet and creamy cold coffee, try the ice coffee.

The stand alone building is a bit inconspicuous, in the same shopping center as Ace Hardware and Breakfast House. I always use the drive thru for convenience.“

“One of the best cheese danishes I have had and I've had many because I love them so much. The pastry itself and the cream along with the fruit topping is perfect. I think what makes a really good Danish is the actual dough being used and this dough is buttery and flakey. Great breakfast sandwiches as well. With their plain cake donut, their buttermilk cake donut and their blueberry cake donut, none of them iced that is, being around a little over a hundred calories per donut and 7 g of sugar is quite fantastic“

“This place should be busier than name brand coffee shops. They actually brew their own coffee as in the Barista uses a portafilter and froths milk manually, that’s a real Barista not someone who pushes buttons and pumps liquid sugar into your coffee. The donuts are awesome by the way!!“

“donuts are so yummy and of course coffee is so good“

This was my first experience at a Tim Hortons and this coffee shop was very new. The staff was super nice and ordered a coffee and Hot Breakfast Sandwich. They must be very popular where have a lot of their own branded merchandise. The coffee had a great taste and the breakfast sandwich was rather large and tasty. They seem to have a lot of food items on their menu. The place had a Canadian atmosphere with hockey touches.“

“Was happy there was parking in the hotel parking lot, in a Tuesday morning plenty of parking available for me.

Service was quick, and honestly curt but that’s fine. We don’t have to be besties.

Got the turbo, is was good, and again came out QUICK. Easily found seating for just me and a plug for my laptop. It was quiet, sans barking dogs (on the owners, not Jos) typical prices $7-9 depending on the tip you leave. Cute spot, seems like a popular local stop“

“I love the special edition valentines donuts they do. However do not get the red ones with the chocolate filling. The donut itself was old and the filling wasn’t fresh. The red dye was overpowering and left red on everything it touched…nasty… and omg the bees even in the drive thru“

“I’m leaving 5 star to combat the negative reviews. Yes the seating area needs a deep clean because it’s an ice cream and donut shop; both of which are made of sticky things that will be constantly spilled. And it’s serviced by high school kids.

But the ice cream is good, reliable Baskin Robbins. They have a ton of flavors. It’s in the neighborhood and doesn’t cost $12 per serving.“
