“This place has delicious donuts, kolaches, and breakfast sandwhiches. I just ate the croissant bacon, egg, and chesse sandwhich. It hit the spot. A student brought me some kolaches a couple of years ago. I had to ak her where she got them from and have been buying their kolaches since then. Their donuts are awesome. Their cinnamon twist is delicious and filling. The man working the counter is cool to talk to. He lets you know what their latest creation is because there's usually something new to try. I used to go to Shipley's (for their skimpy kolaches) which is right across the street from me, but I drive the extra miles to go to Donuts 4 U.“

“I experienced their donuts at a Lunar New Year event at Flow Yoga. I’m not usually a donut fan, but gave these a try. They are denser than typical, much closer to the ones my mom used to make. The flavors were so good! I got the tea infused one, the black sesame seed one, the yuzu and the mandarin. They were all delicious! “I think this is my new favorite donut shop ✨ We went around 11:30am on a Saturday, and luckily there were still plenty of kolaches and donut options available. Here’s what we got...

We ordered a small sausage and cheese kolache and a large sausage and jalapeño kolache, heated up, and they were perfect. They also have croissant kolaches which I’m very interested in trying in the future.

I wanted to try the glazed donuts as a baseline… and it was incredible. Pillowy soft and delicious. One of the best glazed donuts I’ve ever had. I’m sure the donut holes are incredible.

I always have to get a sprinkle donut, so we got a chocolate with sprinkles and a white with sprinkles. They were both great, but I would definitely get the white sprinkle donut next time.

“One of the best cheese danishes I have had and I've had many because I love them so much. The pastry itself and the cream along with the fruit topping is perfect. I think what makes a really good Danish is the actual dough being used and this dough is buttery and flakey. Great breakfast sandwiches as well. “We came here to visit since it’s listed as one of the highlights of the downtown area.

We weren’t disappointed, but definitely underwhelmed! The coffee is good, but it is severely overpriced and the building/surrounding outdoor spots are really gross and messy. Public bathrooms are available but they are more gross than a gas station.

Would recommend another coffee shop if you come to visit, only thing worth seeing is the famous “I love you so much” wall.“

“Grand Donuts has a handful of locations around Central Texas including this location along Little Elm Trail in Cedar Park. They offer a nice range of donuts, kolaches, coffee and related morning food items and are open from 5am to 1pm (Mon to Sat) and 6am to 1pm (Sun). Recently stopped by and picked up an apple fritter that was nicely baked, good portion size and reasonable priced. The fritter tasted very good at home with a fresh cup of black coffee. Would gladly return to Grand donut for another fritter based on this recent experience.“

The sausage kolaches were soft and flavorful. The portion size was just right—not too small, not too big—and the price was reasonable for what you get.

The donuts are stellar, the cake balls are flavourful, and the macarons are perfect in both texture and taste. Staff was simultaneously helpful and laid back. Very low pressure atmosphere. The only possible downside to this place is that everyone else knows about it and a bunch of the flavours were gone within 4 hours of them opening. Go early, get the good stuff!“

You’re not there to pay premium prices for half-baked (or half-fried) vessels to deliver some novel topping or flavor with dubious execution. No, you’re likely there because you’re in the area and your options are limited.

This is not an indictment against the quality to be found at this humble shop nor a cynical jeer at the dedication that’s at work here. Fresh Donuts deals in the Platonic idea of the donut and they do it remarkably well. The evidence is in the balance of velvety airiness and crispy sweetness in every bite of a classic plain glazed; the captivating ratio of cinnamon to sugar on a cinnamon twist that is never cloying or bland. When the thing you make lines up cleanly with the archetype, anything else becomes a diversion. Sharks have changed relatively little even after millions of years.

“I absolutely love this place. I'm not a morning person nor a big breakfast eater but on the rare occasion where I wake up hungry there is only one thing that pacifies my hunger, a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich from Donut and Kolache Express. Somehow the bacon stays nicely crisp even after the short drive to work.

The donuts, sweet and savory kolaches, and breakfast sandwiches are all amazing. If you like sweet and creamy cold coffee, try the ice coffee.

The stand alone building is a bit inconspicuous, in the same shopping center as Ace Hardware and Breakfast House. I always use the drive thru for convenience.“

“I love the special edition valentines donuts they do. However do not get the red ones with the chocolate filling. The donut itself was old and the filling wasn’t fresh. The red dye was overpowering and left red on everything it touched…nasty… and omg the bees even in the drive thru“

“I’m leaving 5 star to combat the negative reviews. Yes the seating area needs a deep clean because it’s an ice cream and donut shop; both of which are made of sticky things that will be constantly spilled. And it’s serviced by high school kids.

But the ice cream is good, reliable Baskin Robbins. They have a ton of flavors. It’s in the neighborhood and doesn’t cost $12 per serving.“
