“We have visited this place about 3x and it has been excellent each time. We love exploring great Texas BBQ spots and this is definitely one of them.

Our favorites were the beef ribs, jalapeno cheese sausage, and brisket. We've also had the turkey, mac n cheese, beans and potato salad- all very tasty but our favorites mentioned are go to's.

The location is spacious and very nice. Staff have always been very efficient and friendly. But most importantly, the food is really delicious. We've enjoyed eating inside and on their patio.

Definitely recommend and will return when in the area!

And FYI, reading other reviews I'd like to add:
any good BBQ restaurant is going to run out of meats occasionally so go early or be flexible...
If you think meats look disgusting then maybe you're just not that into meats 😬🤔...
And prices on everything have increased especially foods. All good BBQ places are on the pricier side these days, but the quality of what you get for the price is worth it. Plus, leftovers essentially make it two days of food.“

We had an unforgettable time at The Gas Station—the iconic filming location from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre! From the moment we arrived, the energy was both eerie and exciting. The guy who welcomed us was extremely nice, super funny, and made the whole experience even better. His passion for horror really shows, and he made us feel right at home (in the most terrifying way possible!).

I filmed everything—every creepy corner, every chilling detail. The setup is amazing and totally dramatic, like walking onto a horror movie set. They’ve done a fantastic job preserving the atmosphere while also making it fun and interactive.

And yes... I couldn’t leave without buying an Annabelle doll! It’s the creepiest souvenir I’ve ever owned and I absolutely love it.

If you’re a horror fan, this place is a dream come true. Totally worth the stop!“
