“I posted a review here like 2 years ago? Had to take off a star because of how crazy my order looked lol. Can u believe these two are the same dish? The first made me feel loved and special, the 2nd made me feel like my mom was angry at me. I went in exactly an hour before closing, I didnt think that would effect my order much. The sauce was also super watery like just cream colored water. It tasted a bit off, but nothing to complain about. If the hour I went was the problem, I guess just go earlier?“

“We have been by many Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen restaurants and never stopped. We did finely and it was very good. We will go to another as we travel around this awesome country of ours. Great job team. Food was great and the service was just as good. We stopped in on a Sunday and sat right down. We just beat the church crowd. When we left they were waiting outside.“

“The Enchiladas Monterrey that my wife had were more than enough to take home. Large portions. The Durango Quesadilla that I had was very well seasoned with lots of carne asada and cheese. The meals come with soup and dessert. Highly recommend!!“

“Most importantly, the food is great! The decor is nice enough and the drinks are typical for a restaurant. But besides the food, what sets Dirty Al’s apart from the rest it’s their service! Starting from the bar, through the wait staff and ending with the manager, the Brownsville location will do everything in their power to make you feel comfortable. Denise the manager, Karla my waiter, Rick & Clarita my bartenders get special mentions. Great place, great food and a good time. P.S. The daily lunch special is affordable and delicious. “This is a place that we regularly eat at. They make the dishes the way that you wanted seasoned. I usually get vegetables with either shrimp or chicken. Another dish that I love is the Chicken Almond. All their dishes are great along with their hot teas!“

“They have some good food but menu is some how a little odd. Order a fajita with guacamole and some how the order did not come with corn tortillas. Some needs to tell these people, it's Mexican food, tortillas have to be included on every order. And those chips as appetizer, are a little weird as well, made of some sesame seeds. The coffee lechero and the sweet bread molletes or conchas with cajeta are the best thing, no doubt. Thanks to the sweet bread it's what gave them the 4 stars otherwise they would get a 3 stars.“

“If you ever had Bigos, this is a great place to grab and go. It's small inside so not the best for dining in, but totally doable.
The quality of the carne asada cannot be overstated. Even after driving back to the hotel and finding a place to sit and eat (15 min) the food was hot and so tender. Seriously, this is not like many fajita places where you are chewing this like a jerky adjacent product. It's soft flavorful and easy to chew.
Sides were tasty but the meat really steals the show.“

The staff were super friendly and kept the area clean and welcoming. Prices are affordable, and the overall experience was excellent. “Great service, the place is old but clean even the bathroom. Food was hot and fresh . Luis a young man was very nice very polite and great hospitality. I’m from out of town visiting my mother . Luis gotta be one of the most respectful young man he even made my mother laugh; he made my moms day he did his best taking care of us (my mother had leg surgery) I’m glad we stopped by to this location.
