“Kindling Texas Kitchen is definitely worth a visit. The food was excellent, and everything we ordered was fresh and full of flavor. I stopped in later in the day, so quite a few menu items were already sold out, which tells me they're popular and making food fresh. The service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. The atmosphere was relaxed, comfortable, and a great fit for downtown Cibolo. I'll be back a little earlier next time so I can try more of the menu. Overall, a great local restaurant that I'd happily recommend.“

“This was the best place to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious and the restaurant is clean and comfy. The owner and his wife were there to personally wish me a happy birthday. “We had lunch today on the porch! LED off with Fried Oyster appetizer! Spicy Crunchy Trout with Broccoli and roasted potatoes and a really nice side salad. My wife had the Three Seafood Salad with Salmon and Shrimp. I know there was another seafood item but she can’t remember. But the waitress was so professional and in these days…she was so good! I wish we’d gotten the Fried Brie appetizer! A little hard to Locate back in behind the other shops but they were also fun! Very good bread as well!!!!“

“We had lunch yesterday ( Fathers Day ) at Root Cellar. Upon arrival we were told that it was about a 50 minute wait. I saw several open tables inside that needed to be cleaned off plus 3 open tables outside that needed to be cleaned but there was a 50 minute wait???? This was the first time visiting for my wife & I but not for our kids. The waiter came & took our drink order at which time I told him I wanted ice tea & I wanted my glass full of ice none of this 1/3 or 1/4 full. Well the waiter wasn't listening or paying attention I got a glass of ice tea with little ice. When he came back to refill my tea glass I reminded him that I wanted a full glass of ice, he began to lecture how a full glass of ice was going to water down my tea. Dude, don't lecture me, this old man been around the sun a few more times than you. The waiter took our order of food which turned out to be mostly sandwiches. The menu stated that each sandwich came with kettle chips & then there were sides that you could add if you wanted, I ordered a side mac & cheese to which I got a lecture from the waiter. When we got our food instead kettle chips we got kettle chip pieces, what was left in the bottom of the bag everyone else already the chips so we got the crushed chips from the bottom of the bag. Come on Root Cellar I think you can do better than that.“

We'd pick up frozen pulled pork in Tennessee and bring it back to Texas as a treat. Nothing to compare until our first visit to The Purple Pig in June. Meets and exceeds our high standards to perfection. Don't miss this delightful experience. There are many things that makes the pulled pork extraordinary. Quality. Pecan smoked, not common to Texas. “My family finally checked out this place and I'm not sure why we haven't until now!! Staff was all incredibly nice. Very clean restaurant. Prices were good. Everything we had was delicious and made to order. You can tell that love and care were put into everything we got, something I definitely appreciate. I had catfish and fries, it was perfect and definitely satisfied my craving that day. My husband had a Chicago dog and it looked amazing, he enjoyed it. One kid had a gyro and wow, it looked great. She wouldn't let me try it lol. The other kid had kid chicken tenders. They were not your typical frozen nuggets y'all, they were fresh fried chicken and she loved them (picky kid). We will be back. I can't wait to try everything else. Maybe next time I'll remember to get pictures but trust me, give them a visit.“

“We've been three times now, and the first two times were great. Tonight made us not want to go back for a long while. The women's bathroom was disgusting. We ordered our food and they were out of bread bowls and potatoes. My daughter ordered off the kids menu, and we paid then 10 minutes later an associate came over and said they don't carry what she ordered anymore. So we switched to something else, that cost less, and we had to ask for the refund of the difference later, they didn't offer. We switched to carry out because the AC was broken (not their fault). One of my kids ordered the kid's Mac and cheese and they gave us a tiny side portion as her meal and when I asked the cashier about it she said it was correct. But then I saw a kid with a sandwich and a side of Mac and cheese and his Mac was the same size as her entree portion. I mentioned this and they said oh yah, you're right, and gave us a second one. We left and I realized we didn't get our drinks, we just ordered water so no loss but just irritating. They also didn't give our kids their cookies in this kids meals, which I didn't realize until we got home. My husband broccoli cheese soup was very watery, and my chicken enchilada soup had maybe 2 pieces of nickel size chicken and nothing else but the soup part. Our sandwiches were good and the kids' food was good. The manager was very nice.“

They both bring such good energy — professional, friendly, and always on point. Whether it’s a hectic night or a chill one, Carsen and Annie handle it with ease and make everyone feel welcome. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows. Leave Definitely two of the best — the ticket bar wouldn’t be the same without them!“

“So our server was great. Wish I remembered her name. Price was very reasonable and food was good. The only knock on our visit was the wait and bag information about wait time. We were told 30 minutes and was actually more than 1 hour. When we finally sat down we ordered the kids meals right away and appetizer at same time on kiosk provided. Appetizer came out immediately. About 15 minutes later were able to order the adult meals. To our surprise the adult meals came out first and the kids meals seem to have disappeared. Finally they figured out where they were and they came out street the adult meals. Improve that part and it could go to 5 stars“
