From the moment we walked in, the cozy ambiance and attentive staff made us feel right at home. The star of the evening was, without a doubt, the steak. Cooked to absolute perfection—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The chef clearly knows their craft, as each bite melted in our mouths and was seasoned just right. The accompanying sides were equally impressive: the roasted vegetables were fresh and vibrant, and the twice baked potatoes were the perfect comfort food. The cobbler was outstanding as well. What truly set this experience apart was the personal touch. The staff took time to explain the menu, offer pairing suggestions, and check in at just the right moments. The boutique setting made the evening feel intimate and special, far from the hustle and bustle of larger venues. “My husband and I recently celebrated our 36th anniversary. We’d celebrated on the weekend but on the actual day, we were headed to the big Barnes and Noble at Southlake and wanted to eat. Both of use hungry for steak we pulled up the restaurants around BN and found Trulucks. We’d never been there before and decided to try it. I’m so glad we did. A truly classy, gorgeous place with great atmosphere. We had a table in the dining room and the one of the best wait help, Germane Cain, the at I believe we’ve ever experienced.
This gentleman was extremely educated in cuisine, and he could share his knowledge without seeming pretentious. In fact, had we met Mr. Cain under other circumstances I think we would have had a great conversation. As it was, he had to take care of his other tables but did so without our ever having to ask for anything. This would be a great place to take family or business people and be sure that you would not be embarrassed.
We had new wines due to the great advice, and new dishes such as broccolini. And at the finish he brought us a big platter with Happy Anniversary written on it in chocolate and a Baked Alaska. I’d seen these on TV but never had one. This absolutely transcended the boundaries of regular or even top-drawer dining, becoming an experience in culinary delight.
The location is fantastic; you can stuff yourself silly and then go walk it off in the bookstore. The food was prepared so well the steaks almost melted in our mouths. The parmesan potatoes were almost as rich as the dessert. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.“

“We had an amazing late lunch there on a Sunday afternoon. Simon, our waiter was fantastic!! He was fun to talk to and really spent time getting to know us. His recommendations for food were on point and he brought us a delicious piece of cheesecake on the house. 5 stars for sure!!!!“

“Very impressive for an airport restaurant. Generally speaking, food and service are similar to their regular restaurant locations which seems to never be the case with airport restaurants. They have gone out of their way to keep a solid menu and a full bar as well as the feel of a restaurant that is a luxurious escape from the hustle and bustle upstairs. Highly recommended.“

“Ate the Irving location and it was nice but the portions are a lot smaller… at least for my Hudson Salad, I would suggest the one on Lovers Lane. The salad on the left is at Lovers Lane and the other is Irving and you can clearly see more of the bowl. They were both delicious and service was great but I was really disappointed.“

They did inform us we were not going to be seated together but it being last minute we were okay with it. They sat us in booths next to each other. Two different waitresses. Our waitress right away told us we could not be moving around from table to table. She was not able to handle such a big table. Very unprofessional disregarding we were paying customers. Not sure if we would visit again with that kind of treatment. FYI, we still tipped more than what was expected.“

“The food was delicious and served promptly. My fiance had the pork chops and I had the shrimp with citrus beurre blanc. We also had a cocktail, both of which were excellent. I had a French martini and my fiance had an old-fashioned. Alex was our server and stopped by the table multiple times to ensure we didn't need anything. Parking was a little tricky as the street spaces were full and the immediate parking lot behind the restaurant, but there were spots in the parking garage.“

We elected to sit at a booth and I was very happy they sat us at a half moon booth with tons of room. Our food server, Sarah, was amazing from the start. Filled with enthusiasm and knowledge. She didn’t miss a beat and quickly picked up on what we liked. The perfect amount of attention and care. The manager was pretty entertaining himself. “Today I had the best experience. I love coming to eat here. The Food is always good the customer service is very good. Today I had two encounters with Jarad and the Manager Desmond who made sure me and my family was well taken care of. Today was very busy when I came in but was greeted right away, there was a small wait time but once I was seated everything came out right away. The food was fresh and Hot. Desmond came over to my table to see how my visit was and I let him know great as usual. Please if you go to this location ask for Jarad and Desmond.“
