The steaks were also amazing. We really enjoyed Oscar... he paced our meal so we were never rushed or waited to long.“

“Al Biernat's North needs no introduction. It carries a reputation for top-notch food and a dining experience orchestrated by an attentive staff. But this latest visit was especially gratifying for us because, well, it essentially was a "break glass in case of emergency" moment. Long story short, our original plans this evening fell apart at the very last minute. (Without naming names, let's just say there's a particular steakhouse and seafood destination in Addison that might want to take a closer look at their reservation-booking software... but I digress.) We knew Al Biernat's North was less than two miles away and we decided to try our luck at getting a table. Now, even though we were last at this Al Biernat's six days ago, their menu is so varied, their service is so refined and the atmosphere is so invigorating, that we did not mind coming here twice in the same week. Quite the contrary; we were jazzed to be able to do so. Because, really, the fantastic service starts from the minute you walk in the door. I've commented on the front desk staff before but it bears repeating that they are quite excellent in greeting guests and providing an awesome "first impression" for everyone walking through the door. We were also quite fortunate to be seated with Tanner, who remains an absolute marvel of a server. Quick with the service and able to project a positivity that could fill the entire Owl Room (which, by the way, having never been seated in the Owl Room until now... I really dig it!), Tanner continues to be an essential member of the Al Biernat's North team. Sincerest thanks and appreciation to the team here for not only rescuing our evening plans, but for also making for an exceptional night out. (And shout out to Tanner for suggesting to take the remains of my Steak Miguel to go - that stuff was delicious the next day at breakfast!)“

“The Capital Grille Uptown is a special dining experience that consistently delivers. We shared the bone in ribeye, cream spinach and the lobster Mac & Cheese. The bone in ribeye was surprisingly more flavorful than past boneless ribeyes that we typically order. Steve U. was our server and he was outstanding!! We had to end the evening with the deliciously creamy coconut cream pie....with four forks! We go often to the Capital Grille Uptown. We think it is the best in a city of many steak houses. Enjoy!!“

“We came for brunch, our server was Liz and the experience was perfect. The menu is a set price so everything costs the same. The meal comes with bread and your choice of an opener which we decided a yogurt parfait which both the bread and parfait were EXCEPTIONAL!

For the main course I had the steak sandwich and scrambled eggs, we also ordered a side (1/2 order) of the French toast… again all things were NEXT LEVEL.

We accompanied the meal with espresso martinis which again were top notch drinks.

From the service, fair prices, post modern 1950s-60s aesthetic, and the above and beyond quality and taste of the food, we will be back for dinner, and recommend to anyone in the area.“

“Omg I have found my new spot. Absolutely amazing and the ambiance was so pleasing. I needed a reset and today was only Tuesday. I went to Yard House after work just to grab a drink and enjoy a quick Happy hour. Let me tell you, I am telling everyone about this place. I walked in at about 4:40. I was sat immediately and given a menu. I ordered from the Happy hour menu. I got the Nachos and chicken (see photo). Omg everything was so fresh. Music was good and I will definitely be back. Hefty portions and again so delicious. This place is a must try. A quick meet up during the week or just a reset from a long week. Again, I will be a regular here❤️

It feels elevated but still warm. Daniel took incredible care of us. He was personable, knowledgeable, and made the experience feel effortless. We asked him to curate our meal and every dish was beautifully explained and perfectly paced. Standouts included the wagyu truffle dumplings, octopus, and the gumbo (a must). The hamachi crudo was light and fresh, and the 20oz bone-in New York strip paired with the Korean corn was cooked perfectly. Dessert, the hummingbird cake, was the ideal sweet finish. “I love it there, sometimes I can’t get there until 9:30 PM, and they are always nice and friendly to me, and the food comes out quick! Joel is usually my server, and he is the absolute best. Julio didn’t serve me, but he is also a pretty cool cat. Hope his hand heals soon. My favorite thing I had this last time was that pumpkin crème brûlée. Holy cow that was amazing!!“
