“We were up from Taylor Tx visiting my Mom in Denton today. Wanted to buy us all lunch and found this place on google. We got brisket, sausage, beans, potatoe salad and sauce with all the trimmings. It was perfect, tender moist brisket, sausage had a good bite & flavor and all the sides were good. Definitely will be back when in town. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Love Metzlers because they're real, they're local, they're independent - lots of specialty items. But, in my perfect world, the tasty brisket would be just a bit more tender...maybe a little more fatty, with the mouth feel I have grown to love...returning June '24, I can say the grilled cheese w pulled pork has been great, but today was a fairly greasy unweildy sandwich (not cut in halves, hard to eat while driving!). Drinks are over-priced ($3.29), unisex bathroom usually dirty with a greasy, dangerously slippery floor. If it weren't for the very nice people working there, I might bypass in the future.“

“i overall had an amazing experience here at this dickeys! i took my husband and three kids here a couple of days ago and the staff was incredibly nice and informative! one of my kids spilt their drink everywhere and staff was more than willing to help us clean it. ? loved the overall atmosphere and our food was presented to us beautifully and fast!“

“Dickey’s Barbecue Pit on I-35E in Denton is hands down one of the best barbecue spots around! The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Their brisket is tender and juicy with just the right amount of smokiness, and the ribs fall right off the bone. The sides are just as good—mac & cheese, baked potato casserole, and fried okra are absolute must-haves.
The staff is always friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even better. The place is clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a casual meal with friends or family.“

“Stopped right before closing for my last minute birthday dinner - traffic kept us from our original plans and I’m so glad! The brisket was maybe the BEST I’ve ever had. Melt in your mouth tender, great seasoning, and the crispy edges were my favorite. Yummmm! We’ll be back for sure!“

“When I tell y’all this food is sent from heaven, I mean it! I found this place when I was looking for places to order on DoorDash. The reviews were so good that I decided to just go up there because everyone speaks so highly of the owners. Be prepared to wait about 15 minutes, but it’s worth every minute sat!! I got 2 of the brisket tacos and a brisket bbq potato. It’s freaking huge! I’m going to try to the brisket sandwich next time because a family that are regulars were up there waiting on their food and told me I gotta try it next! I will be back this weekend. 😆“
