“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We’ve been longtime fans of 940’s—back when the hummus and veggie plate had us in a full-on emotional relationship. 💁‍♀️ Yes, we were a little heartbroken when the menu changed, but we never fault a place for growing and evolving. That said, we had stopped coming for a bit because, honestly… the service just hadn’t been it. The food was always great, but the vibe wasn’t. We took a break. We missed it. And yesturday—we came back. And THANK GOODNESS WE DID. The food was absolutely phenomenal (more on that below), but what truly brought us back into the 940’s fan club was Diana. Our waitress. Our queen. Our Lunch MVP. She was kind, attentive, hilarious, and genuinely made us feel like we were the highlight of her day. She anticipated what we needed before we even asked, gave us fantastic recommendations, and treated us like old friends. She wasn’t just doing her job—she was the energy. She took a great meal and made it a memorable experience. Diana, if you see this: You’re the reason we’ll be back again and again. Give this woman a raise, a crown, and whatever shift she wants. Now, the food: • The pulled pork poppers? 10/10. Perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and smoky inside, with two sauces that made it impossible to pick a favorite. A flavor-packed appetizer we wouldn’t change a single thing about. • The fried chicken sandwich with pimento cheese? Elite. Thick, crunchy, juicy chicken with all the right toppings and that creamy, dreamy pimento that took it into comfort food heaven. • We also tried the Lemon Pom Pom and a Strawberry mocktails—both light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced to pair with the richness of the meal. I’m reviewing this for their breakfast/brunch

Food: 4.2
A very good brunch/breakfast spot. I ordered an array to really get a feel for the place. The menu is extravagant..took me some time. The flap jack was great. Huge portion, great flavor. Not too dry. Biscuits and sausage gravy were good. Biscuit was soft/thick and gravy was a good consistency. The bacon wasn’t as crispy as I like and was thicker cut, so had a bit of a meaty chew to it. The fried potatoes were delicious and crispy. Honestly probably the best ones I’ve had, most places are soggy. The ham was mid. Not my favorite. I ordered over easy eggs and they were very watery once cut. The whites weren’t done (sigh). Waitress quickly brought me over medium (Which shouldn’t be the doneness of the white. Over easy eggs have a runny yolk, while over medium eggs have a slightly more cooked, jammy yolk). Nonetheless they were better and more so what the over easy should have been. Be advised when ordering them this way. Ramsey does say a true test for a chef is make him cook an egg! French toast was excellent, and the fruit was fresh. Other than the egg debacle, I can see why so many people eat here. Huge portions, large menu to cater to a lot of different people, and the food is well above chain breakfast spots. Not innovative, but good!

Nothing spectacular here to report, but the job was done. She asked how our food was and I gave my feedback on the eggs. She quickly offered to remake them.

I ate here for Tuesday brunch. It was still pretty busy and loud. They have lots of seating (booths as well). It appeared clean. Decor gives me Cracker Barrel vibes. Lots of families, kids, & babies. If this describes you, you’ll fit in just fine! Hard to find places to bring kids/big families, and this is a good breakfast spot with a menu that will appeal to a lot of variety of people. If you’re looking for a romantic brunch spot though this isn’t the place.

My husband and I are in our 50’s and the crowd there was a younger, hippie vibe but we were made to feel extra special. And I LOVED the hippie salad! We will be going back! Thank you!!!“

This place is operated by a husband and wife team who said they have been operating the restaurant for 30 years, which explains why their food was so delicious. “We celebrated our anniversary last night at Graffiti Pasta. It was our first but definitely not our last dining experience there. From the moment we walked in the door to a very packed restaurant to the moment we left we were acknowledged & taken care of. Faith was our waitress & let me tell you, I have NEVER had a more amazing server. She knew so many things about the menu, was able to offer suggestions without being pushy, she was simply friendly, & just overall such a cool person. I would honestly come back just to see her. The meatball appetizer was our favorite part of the meal followed by the salad.“

But don’t serve that to someone who’s paying for it please. I also feel like they don’t give enough dressing per the amount of lettuce they give you since it’s prepackaged I get it. The food Alo’s did come cold. And it was a $6 drive back to the house in a sealed container in a closed bag. Maybe ordering to go just isn’t the best option.

“My quandary: give Hannah’s the rave review it deserves and risk not being able to get a table on a Saturday night or just pretend we never made it to dinner? Looking for a new restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, my wife made a reservation at this gem in Denton and we were not disappointed. Our table was laid out with rose petals to celebrate the occasion and the staff wished us a Happy Anniversary. The menu had a multitude of items that sounded mouth-watering, so the decision making process was tortuous. We settled on bacon wrapped dates and steamed mussels as appetizers. The dates were moist and the bacon crispy, a perfect bite of sweet and salty. The mussels were perfectly steamed with a delicious broth and the perfect crispy, warm French bread to sop it up. A great start. My wife ordered Beef Cheek stuffed Ravioli, remembering how much she loved the beef cheeks we first ate in Spain. Ground meat in the ravioli topped with a perfect ragu of tomatoes, beef cheek, and vegetables. I am drawn to duck whenever I see it on the menu and the Rosemary smoked Duck Breast was cooked to perfection; crispy skin, juicy meat, and a sun dried cherry pico tart enough to complement its maple syrup glaze. The sliced duck breast was served atop a wild rice and vegetable pancake that was unique and perhaps the star of the dish. Come on, who wouldn’t love pancakes for dinner? A couple glasses of wine with dinner, a slice of award winning carrot cake for desert with an espresso, and exquisite service all evening long made for an ideal anniversary celebration. Thank you to the kitchen staff and everyone in the front of the house and remember to save us a table on Saturday nights. See you soon.“

“visited The Greenhouse in Denton, Texas, on Friday, July 25th, and really enjoyed the experience. The interior has a great casual dining vibe that’s perfect for conversation — relaxed but refined enough to feel like a treat.

Our waitress struck the perfect balance of attentiveness: available when needed but never intrusive. She gave us excellent recommendations when we were torn on what to order.

Honey Chipotle Salmon – This was the table favorite. The salmon was glazed with a rich honey chipotle sauce and served alongside jack cheese mashed potatoes and broccolini. The dish was clean, flavorful, and well balanced — the richness of the potatoes was offset beautifully by the glaze. I could honestly put that glaze on anything. 😂

Stuffed Chicken – Filled with poblano pesto and jack cheese, this chicken dish was topped with a creamy poblano pesto sauce and served over the same jack cheese mashed potatoes. While tasty, it felt like it was missing something — maybe a pop of acidity or a marinade to liven up the chicken. Still enjoyable, just not quite as memorable as the salmon.

Overall, we had a fantastic dinner. The wine was great, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for a quiet Friday night out. I’m sure we’ll be back sooner rather than later.“

“My favorite! I prefer to eat plant based proteins so this dining hall is perfect. The food is always packed with flavor. They have a “build your own” bar that’s different each day, and the best is the fried rice bar. The cake here is delicious and so is the soft serve. Easily the best dining hall on campus, you can really feel the passion behind the food.“

“I have to shout out The Pickled Carrot for thier vegan (and allergy) friendly options and their customer service. I ordered a Bahn Mi sandwich with pork, and did not realize it had an aioli until after I took a bite. I have an egg allergy (thankfully not anaphylactic!), so I approached the truck and explained my mistake. I was willing to pay for another sandwich for my own mistake. The guy said it was no problem to make another one, AND they had a vegan garlic aioli as well that I could have. The sandwich was 10/10 perfection. I will definitely come back. “Not worth the money! Just paid $16 and $15 for the curry ramen and spicy tonkatsu. We got about .10 worth of noodles, a single quarter size piece of fat which was supposed to be pork, all in a tasteless luke warm broth. We also got 2 kids ramen which was enough food for a hamster, maybe, if it was not very hungry. How can they charge those prices, its shameful. I will never get food here again, don't waste your time and hard earned money here. And trust me the other very few positive reviews must be by owners or workers cause they're total BS.“
