“I saw The Shore on my Google map and clicked on the link. I saw their Happy Hour Menu and noticed they had 1/2 price Oysters and several other choices. We decided to stop there on our way back home. We got there at 3:30 and found that they would not open until 4 pm due to an earlier water leak. We asked if we could just sit at the bar until they opened because we really wanted to have oysters for our anniversary. The manager said since we were wanting oysters we could sit at the bar and get drinks and the oysters. Chef Cody explained all the different oysters offered and we decided to let him choose the oysters and we were not disappointed . He chose the gulf coast, summer time, Black moon and pink moon. All the options were fresh tasting with just a touch of saltiness . We also had the mussels with fries. We have not had mussels this good in a very long time. the broth was thick with butter, wine and capers. The grilled ciabatta bread was so buttery and crispy we ordered additional pieces. The calamari was lightly breaded rings and tentacles and were heavenly. We also tried the Hi Mexican Lager on tap, it was light and smooth. Our bartender was very sweet and helpful with our choices. We also would like to thank the manager who being so accommodating to us and making our 42nd anniversary so special. We will definitely stop there again!!!!!“

From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel like I was being welcomed into someone’s home. It’s cozy, clean, and clearly a favorite among locals—not a tourist trap, which means no inflated prices or gimmicks, just seriously good food.

I got there early and enjoyed the calm atmosphere, but I can see why it gets busy—it’s that popular. The service was impressively fast, and every bite tasted fresh and flavorful. Portions were generous, and the prices? Shockingly fair. Nothing overpriced, just great value for food that could easily cost more elsewhere.

“Excellent 1/2 chicken with excellent onion, usual sides. I missed living in the neighborhood near the #2 North Lamar location. I stopped by at a slow time of day, polite staff and great food. Took to go, but the place was clean and ready for business later on in the day. Grabbed a couple neighborhood newspapers as I left.“

“Came to the HC from Argyle and stopped at the Ghost Note Brewery. We had the shrimp tacos and chorizo and potatoes tacos. OMG!!! They were AMAZING!! Corn tortillas, amazing flavors, just the right amount of spice and the green salsa gave it that extra flavor that I enjoy.“

“Had lunch at this small restaurant (behind the Chevron gas station) for some authentic Mexican cuisine. The food was delicious and far exceeded our expectations! All of the meats (Carnitas, Barbacoa, Pastor and shredded chicken in the Chile Rellenos) were well cooked, soft & full of flavor. “Just ordered an Asada Torta from here for the first time and it was perfect. Tender and perfectly seasoned asada on a large roll with onions, cilantro, avocado, and a little mayo. It’s the best one I’ve had in Texas! Their “mild” green sauce is tasty but has a decent kick so get it on the side. The staff was friendly and everything looked clean. Highly recommend De La O Kitchen!“

“as much hate as this place tends to receive they still treat you with the freebirds attitude that always keeps me hungry for a burrito and christina is always the sweetest when it comes to handling customers. While there's still a chipotle around the corner the staff there are usually too busy to seem to care unlike these guys.“

“Okay, I’m one of those that just has to be in the mood for Taco Bell. Well I was in that mood. LOL! I ordered the Luxe meal with a Gordita cheesy crunch. I was very tasty. Not sure of the new product the cheese it thing they have but my oldest son said it was pretty good. I’m just not a cheese it fan and to think about how it tastes, really didn’t sound to appetizing to me.“

“My favorite Taco Bell hands down. I will never go to the other one in Kyle. They are always fast and pretty consistent for the most part. They have messed up a tiny thing once or twice, but all is forgivable considering the fast drive thru times. Last time was mid but I’ll forgive them bc they were about to close.“
