“We chose this place to cater our MHS 50th HS Reunion. We got chicken & beef fajitas, spanish rice and beans and tortillas. In addition every person got individual cups of sour cream, guacamole and pico de gallo. We had 100 plates and EVERYONE raved on and on about how delicious the food, the service and the professionalism was for this restaurant. It is a hidden gem on the Southside of town and I know many of us will definitely go back for their delicious food and outstanding service“

**Update- this is still one of my favorite places to eat Mexican food. The enchiladas were nice and cheesy but the rice has always been my go to. On top of that I love how they bring us chips and salsa before we even order our drinks.“

Had a great meal , my soft chicken tacos were delicious ..My husband had enchiladas , he liked them ..just not crazy about carne Guisada gravy on them . “Great mom and pop shop in a not so busy area. We were going to go to a fancy chain but stumbled upon this little local gem. Lots of menu options and flavors with a fantastic price. Lots of snack options to include fresh fruit and corn just in case the family wants something different ?. The ice is not snow but more of a medium shred which is great for this heat. Delicious flavors without the artificial flavor or extra sugar rush. A perfect balance. The service is tailored to your needs and they're Lots of topping to fresh upnyour ice. Best part is I got 2 to 3 topping for every family member and still made it out under $10.
Lots of free parking and seats if you can handle the heat. But you can also sit in the car if you prefer while you wait or snack on your Delicious treats ?“

“This place is very standard. The food is good and the staff is attentive. Prices are not bad either.

Only drawback is that if you order ahead they won't accept it if it's more than $30. But I guess they've gotten burned by other people not picking up their food before.“

The most delicious tacos at affordable prices!
I stopped by 4 food trucks before finding El Caminante because everyone else was cash only.
Here, I was greeted with a smile while being patient with me to figure out what I wanted to eat. I ordered the order of mini tacos, chicken quesadillas, charros & Mexican cokes. All so good!

“Went today for breakfast at 6:10 am. Waited till 6:15 at drive thru , no one answered, drove up to drive thru window ,there were 3 employees that saw me and walked away. I thought they open at 6 am. If they weren't ready they could have let me know instead of walking away. Very unprofessional, I frequent place alot after I get off at work at 6 am and never have had that treatment. I will never go to another las palapas again. Or will recommend anyone to them again.“

“It's called Vallarta Taco now I believe (Jamitos Taquitos sign is still up even when it was called Patty's 2). Delicious breakfast tacos and plates. Love those handmade tortillas. The waitress and cashiers are alway very friendly and fast. Small amount of seating inside and can be cramped but it doesn't matter when you're eating that yummy bean and cheese taco.“
