“I had a coupon for this place and decided to try it out
And I was NOT disappointed.
The service was excellent, the decor was cozy, and the food was divine. The miso soup was perfectly done, not too salty, not too bland, but nice and hearty. The chirashi bento was amazing. Instead of the usual meh salads they give you squid and seaweed salad which were delicious. The half tuna rolls were more tuna than rice and were fresh and delicious. And the chirashi was just heavenly. Each piece of sashimi was topped with its own seasoning to really bring out the flavor of the fish, complimented by the high quality rice and salmon roe underneath. I was so satisfied by the food I ordered dessert and got to taste the amazing tempura cheesecake. Though pricey, it was worth said price. I left the place full and happy and will be back. 10/10“

“This is a great little sushi place. We've ordered from several places in the local area and definitely like this one the best. We've eaten here 4 or 5 times and are never disappointed. We have tried the Crunch Salmon, Super Crunch, Tornado, Cowboy, California Roll, and Green Hulk just to name a few. All were very delicious.“

“My family of 5 have been ordering from here for years. This is a restaurant where all 3 of my picky children can find something and not complain. My teen loves all their sushi and tries something new every time we go. My 8 year old son gets the salmon and has proclaimed it’s “the best salmon ever” every time. You get 2 fillets which is a huge portion! He even picked it for his family birthday dinner. I love their shaken fillet and chicken which is basically the hibachi. The portions are giant! My husband randomly DoorDash’s their chicken friend rice he likes it so much. It is pricey but well worth it for the amount of food. The atmosphere is really nice and would be a great place for a date night or to take work clients. The owners are wonderful! Highly recommended giving it a try!“

“My coworker introduced me to this place, so I went there for lunch.
I think I'll be using it often in the future. The price is really the best. Fried rice is under $10. Most of the food is around $10, so it's really cheap.
The amount of food for one person is enough for two. The taste is also excellent.
The side dishes change constantly.
Since it is self-service, there is less burden on tipping.
There is nothing lacking.“

“This was my first time here and we brought the family. I visited this location before when it was Lava 10 and I think the seating is the same. There is a long booth-bench with tables and chairs on the other side right through the center. The booth-bench side sank down a bit more than the chairs which made for a little bit of a comical eating situation. There is bar seating, what I think was normal tables on the east side of the restaurant, and high top tables as well. When you go, DEFINITELY arrive before 6:30 so you can take advantage of the happy hour menu. Excellent prices on apps, and you can sample a bunch at a great price. Cocktails were also on happy hour! We had a smattering of rolls, sushi (octopus & escolar), ceviche, pot stickers, and a spicy tuna over crispy rice bite (that was the star!). The octopus was a bit tough (didn't snap clean, was quite chewy), but everything else was absolutely excellent. The wine selection is elevated as well, so if you are a fan you will find something lovely. Definitely recommend this place and we will be back!“

“Went for the first time for my birthday with my family. The food was so good! The chef at the hibachi was very funny and interactive. The other staff were friendly and everyone seemed happy to be there. We called to make a reservation so we would be guaranteed the hibachi experience. They also have a table dine in area that is very nice looking and next time we come we are going to sit there. Their prices are around what you would expect for hibachi and good sushi. We had a great time! We will be going back 100%!!!“

I tried the teriyaki sample and it was amazing, but I got the orange chicken and noodles with veggies. My wife and I both compared it to Panda Express, but she thought it was better than Panda Express and I’m inclined to agree. At the register, the guy randomly said the drink I got was free and we could have free refills—super nice, something they didn’t have to do! Super yummy. Great people.“
