“The hot bites were kinda heavy on the spice and I didn't finish them because of it. It tasted like Cajun style but kind of concentrated. A lady manager walked by and asked how the food was and I was honest with her and she said that maybe next time try the regular one and I said ok. To my surprise she came back with a card giving me a free combo of my choice on the next visit. She was very nice and I was surprised by her reaction to my review. This place has a good manager at the helm and I will be back!“

“Was in there area and wanted to try this place out. And the food was delicious! I got the 3 piece dark with beans and okra. The chicken was fresh out I had to wait til it cooled down some to eat it. The beans was very good. I also had the pea can pie which was delicious as well. Oh and a pepper. I can’t remember the guys name who served me but I wish I did he was amazing as far as customer service.“

I didn’t know what to expect, I got the catfish… a two piece… idk if Christ is walking with me closer or what cuz they hooked it up with another fillet. I also ordered gizzards so they probably felt cool with it, but man… if you miss and crave catfish and are strapped for cash… this is what’s up. They sell canned drinks, I got 3 for $2.15(including tax). Can’t beat that with a stick. Get the sweet tea. You’re welcome.“

“This Lisa's is a basic fried fish and chicken place that also has a cooler with soft drinks. There is seating at tables for approximately 30 people. I had 1 dozen fried gizzards with a medium white gravy for dipping , a medium order of French fries , a 2 piece catfish fillet and a medium fountain drink for $18 and change. The gizzards were on point. The catfish was sizzling and crispy. The crinkle cut fries were hot , crispy and fluffy on the inside. The place isn't much to look at but the food is as it should be. 2 things that stood out for me were the clean well bussed tables and the fact the food was not over salted. If you have a hankering for something hot and fresh with a clean environment then try Lisa's !“

“Fresh delicious chicken! I love the seasoning on the chicken. I asked for fresh chicken and did not get an attitude from the cashier. The Asian guy in the back kept staring me down and they gave us the smallest chicken legs in the batch for asking for fresh chicken but overall it was good experience.“

“Lisa's is most certainly a gem!! Love this place. All of their food is cooked to order, so you never have to worry about getting cold food. I usually always get the Shrimp and fish. The shrimp is very good and cooked just right every time. The fish also is great and not over/undercooked. The amount of drink choices they have are great!“

“We had a late lunch there. I believe his name was Steve, the gentleman who took our order and was so kind to let us know the best way to order what we wanted to save cost. He helped me and my mom, even gave us an extra cookie with our order. He was so nice and helpful to us. “After being detained @ MHC Kenworth for a day and half with a break down and eating most all my food in the fridge, I wished I’d walked down to this place sooner. Not a bad walk from KW Dealership and was pleasantly surprised that there was a convenience store to boot.
Ordered the 2pc Catfish Plt w/ green beans+coleslaw, spectacular! And for later ordered 2pc white chicken plt w/ mashed potatoes and small corn-on-the-cob. Already looking forward to supper. Portion sizes appear generous and I could barely finish the catfish plate.
My compliments to the cook and the folks that packaged everything as there were utensils, napkins and proper condiments(tartersauce,ketchup)included without having to ask.
After this being my first visit, I will return if ever in the area again and again. Fast friendly service. The place smells terrific, you won’t to leave.“

“Large menu, lots of options, great food. We like the shrimp and chicken rice LA and Baja (jalapeños added) style. They also have great corn Dogs, fried chicken and tenders, fish, with tons of great sides and drink options. If you are in a hurry order ahead. Drive through may take a little longer, but they make it right then and there, so it's totally fresh. Worth the wait!“

We moved here to Burleson this month and have been frequent drive through customers...Today was our first experience inside your Burleson store... and I'm in literal shock. One of the reasons we've chosen to support Chick-fil-A is not only their quality food, but their facilities and personal experience; and while your food and personal were still up to standard, the facility was unexcusable. I'm questioning how this is allowed corporately because I have never seen anything like it in ANY store we have visited. “I absolutely love Lisa's Chicken. They have delicious chicken livers. I didn't really care much for the coleslaw until I chopped my jalapeño up in it. Then it was delicious.

“This is a relatively local fast food that has expanded rapidly in the last 2 years. The chicken is large pieces & the crust is always crunchy. The fried shrimp is also large. The meats are always very hot (no cold meats). The side of okra is also a large portions, crunchy & hot. Rolls are very good. French fries are also hot. No seating. Inside pick-up or drive thru. Would recommend.“

“This location has brought me back to when I first used to go with my family for dinner. Everything was fresh, the biscuits were great and everything was hot. An earlier review complained about the outside. As long as the food is on point, I don't care if it looks bad. It's not the best area or neighborhood so. To the manager or owner, keep this standard up. We will be back more often and we have tried many in dfw.“
