“Definitely coming again. Food is amazing and really nice service. I would definitely order wings from here if I'm having a party or big occasion. Burgers were really juicy and big with a great grilled taste. The fried rice samples were also pretty interesting. I would come again to try an order of the chicken fried rice.???“

“Second time since it re-opened we have been there. Tonight we had the privilege to dine in with our family. The food was good and fresh, but the staff will be the reason we for sure come back! Probably the friendliest people I've ever met. I loved being there. They were also dining in and the love they had for each other you could just feel. Great family.“

“Five Stars Aren’t Enough – These Ribs Deserve a Standing Ovation!
If heaven had a smokehouse, it would be the Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Irving. I walked in expecting a decent meal, but what I got was a life-altering encounter with the most glorious ribs to ever grace a grill.
From the moment they hit the table, the aroma alone was enough to silence every thought in my head. These weren’t just ribs—they were slow-smoked symphonies, each bite an explosion of smoky, tender perfection. The meat? So juicy it practically leapt off the bone in surrender. The bark? A masterclass in caramelized, smoky bliss with just the right whisper of heat. And that sauce—oh, that sauce—it was like sweet Southern poetry with a smoky kick that made my taste buds weep tears of joy.
I don’t know what kind of barbecue sorcery is going on in that kitchen, but whoever’s manning the pit deserves a trophy, a medal, and probably a national holiday. Honestly, after these ribs, I’m questioning every other barbecue experience I’ve ever had. Were those even ribs? Or just sad pretenders to the smoky throne?“

“I really love the grilled squid. It is the best in town. Also, the Kare Kare is highly recommended. The price is responsible considering how well the food is prepared.“
“I love this place - the dance floor is the biggest I have ever seen (I've danced in different locations all the way around Houston/ Spring/ Huntsville) and it is perfectly round which is unique. The workshops held here are incredibly thought out and help the other dancers acclimate to the space. Biggest downfall is during the Summer months - the AC should be turned on because I marinate. Also - the crowd gets larger as the night gets later which is common but it makes it hard to move along the dance floor without traffic. The leads that come out are very strong - if I lived locally this would be my go to. 🥰“

“I visited this restaurant twice with family during my recent visit to Dallas. Ambiance was great and staff very welcoming and attentive. Appeared as if we were being treated as personal guests. Standard of food and hygiene was beyond any doubt remarkable. What really impressed me was that washrooms were sparkling clean with all amenities. Overall an excellent experience and my appreciation to management and owners for doing a very fine job. Wish you all the success!“

“Welcome home. If I could title my review, that would be it. From the moment I stepped through the door, the (cute!) young man behind the counter made me feel like he had been waiting for me all day. I have anxiety, but it melted away with his charm. The mac and cheese wasn’t ready when I got there, so I was given two choices: they’d replace it with any side, or I could wait and they would make it fresh. Who doesn’t like fresh food? I was entertained while I waited, and the time flew by. Food was hot and fresh. Service was above and beyond. It was my first time in Grand Prairie, but I hope to be back ASAP — only partially for the eye candy!“

“Oak'D BBQ delivered food to my work place to celebrate Fathers Day and I must say the food was delicious, tender brisket with all the trimmings, brussle sprouts dish, cole slaw dish is what I selected from the catering. I have never ever liked a potato salad to the point to where eat I it by itself and go back for second and thirds but I did this time. It's made differently and I need the recipe. 🌽 The Brussel sprout dish was delicious, also. No doubt a chef had to make these food dishes, different than the norm is what I like. My name is Deloris and I approve this message!!!😉👍👊“

“Best BBQ experience period. Briskets that melts in your mouth , nachos that are best in town by a mile. All served with pride and you can tell it is made by true pit masters. It is one of my absolute favorite restaurants and I have eaten in some of the best restaurants across the globe and I have cooked some of the finest cuisine and Vaqueros in my hometown of Allen Texas beats all of that! Thank you and we will be back! Again and again“

“Slow Bone is one of the premier BBQ Joints in all of DFW. The Ribs and Smoked Chicken are easily the best in town, the Brisket is incredible and they were even voted best Fried Chicken in DFW a time or two. The sides are all excellent, but the brisket beans and sweet potato praline stand above the rest. You won’t be disappointed with anything on the menu. Come early. Come often. Thank me later.“

“Had always been a little bit suspicious about this place thinking it was just trying to capture travelers coming into Dallas. Boy was I wrong! This place is legit. It rivals all the best places in DFW. Heck, may even be the best! The pork belly burnt ends are unique and amazing! Best beans I’ve ever had as well. Will definitely be back!“

“A Smokin’ Good Time at Crosscut BBQ! From the moment I walked into Crosscut BBQ, the aroma of smoked meats and spices set the stage for what was to be an unforgettable lunch experience. The star of the show was undoubtedly Chef Avila, whose culinary expertise shone through with every dish recommended. The mac and cheese was a revelation – a creamy, cheesy delight with a perfectly crispy smoked toppings that provided just the right amount of textural contrast. It’s not just a side dish at Crosscut BBQ; it’s a main event in its own right. But let’s not forget the barbecue – the gently smoked turkey and pulled pork was flavorful and moist. Each bite was a testament to the skill and passion that goes into the cooking here. The veggie side dish lightly seasoned and very fresh. They have homemade pickles too! The service was top-notch, with Chef Avila personally ensuring that my meal was nothing short of perfect. I was speechless…. The food is so good. It’s clear that Crosscut BBQ isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a place where the love for good food and great company comes together in harmony. If you’re looking for a place that serves up soul-satisfying barbecue with a side of genuine hospitality, look no further than Crosscut BBQ. I’m already planning my next visit! Rating: 10/10 stars – Highly recommend“

“I recommend don't go. I got a 3 meat plate ribs slice beef and sausage. the beef was very fatty un eatable. the ribs was supposed to be fall off the bone. No they were not. the greens was too spicy 🔥. the only thing on my plate that was worth eating was the beans and bread. spent $23.82 to feed my dog I will never go back. This was today 3/5/2025 I wish I could show you the pictures“

“Service was amazing. Food was good as well, price doesn’t match portions; maybe think about adding a little more meat to the portions for the prices they’re charging unless I was skimped on my meat... Brisket was tender and sausage was cooked very well. The bbq beans could use a little more time in the cooker and some sugar to help soften them and mashed potatoes do need some garlic powder to help balance the flavor. Otherwise the food was great will be visiting again in near future.“

“This Dickey's has not only great food but also an amazing management team and staff. I placed a catering order for a Celebration of Life luncheon. The food was fresh and delicious, the delivery was on time and not a thing was missing from my large order. My calls with Sal, Ray and other staff members all gave me a feeling of confidence that my order was in good hands and that was exactly the way it turned out.“

“I really enjoyed visiting here several times over my stay in Dallas. Twice for a meal and once for the bar out back. The BBQ was excellent. I had the brisket, both fatty and lean which was perfect with simple salt and pepper run. The jalapeno cheddar sausage was great and the ribs were wonderful with a great blend dry rub. I tried both sauces as well as the Mac and cheese and I have zero complaints!
The staff was always friendly and easy to talk to and the atmosphere was very chill with a vibe you'd expect from a good ol BBQ joint.
Highly recommend you stop in and try it out!“

The potato salad had a good mustard bute which I really enjoyed and the fried okra actually tasted like okra! Coworker had a sewet tea and sait it was really good too. Will definitely be my go to place next time I'm back in Dallas!!!!!

“I got the lunch special of 1 meat and 1 side as well as the lemon cake dessert. The brisket was very good in my opinion, perfect balance of fat and lean meat; loved the sauce that was on the side, it was very peppery but balanced with a slight sweetness. Comes with a side of toast and pickles and pickles onions that were also very delicious and good balance. The Mac and cheese was a semi disappointment due to it being spiral noodles but the cheese sauce and breadcrumbs really bring it back to being tasty. Lastly, the dessert, smoked lemon cake. It was hard to judge it, they forgot the berries so it was good but not quite up to par, the cake portion did not taste smoky, was very dense but still moist. Comes with this lemon drizzle/curd sauce that was very good. Worth a visit for the atmosphere and food, but if you're looking for solid BBQ I would give this place a pass and maybe go to hard 8, Hutchinsons or even maybe Loro if you're looking for something more modern.“

“I work here so I am a little biased. I am the Operations Manager at the catering office. We handle orders over 50 people or smaller orders where full service, or a non-bbq menu is ordered. Our location is catering only- if you are looking for dining in or getting something to go, please contact or visit our original restaurant on Inwood Rd just east of Harry Hines; or our Lovers Lane, West End, or Richardson locations.“

“I spent a good chunk of time walking the outfield concourse, hoping to find something sweet or savory with a shorter line. Nothing really stood out, until I turned the corner and spotted the Sweet Baby Ray’s sign.
I went with the BBQ Brisket Mac & Cheese, and it was absolutely amazing, even on a hot day. Rich, flavorful, and totally satisfying. Couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon meal during the game. Worth the wait and the walk.“
“The best smoked meat in DFW! Hands down! Great service!“

“The Thing I Like the most is ...The Hot Rolls -
& as many as you want, which is something you can't find at other Bar B Que places. the one I am reviewing has been in business at that same spot for a Very Long Time. At least 15 or so years. So it's nice to see them still in business and going strong. I don't get to dine there very often, but when I do. I know I will have a good experience. The Food is freshly served and Always delicious. The staff there is always friendly and helpful. More than enough Parking spaces. Well lit and a warm atmosphere. Lots of families and some people that are dating tend to dine there. So it's a real pleasure to experience. OKAY so I'm going to add one last thought to this review. I Really miss the excitement and enthusiasm that the staff at Spring Creek used to exhibit. Now days it feels more like a lubys cafeteria or a funeral home. I'm not sure which one. Believe me. I've dined at Spring Creek off and on since at least 2000 and it's just not the same. Not to mention that I spent almost 70.00s for just myself and my girlfriend for two meals. I am seriously thinking about going back to and staying with Hard Eights BBQ, at least there they doesn't feel so.....Dead.“
