“This restaurant's food is very acceptable. I had the grilled meat plate and it was freshly made and well-grilled. I did not feel the taste of Turkish food, sumac and Turkish spices taste were missing. I guess they want to please a certain crowd, the casserole, steak and potato eater. However, the meat was good, tender and well grilled. I had the plate of appetizer and they were all good. The only down side is the price. My bill was $62.00. I only had a tea with my lunch. Had I ha al kebab and a drink, my bill would have been at least $35.00 which is really expensive for lunch at a neighborhood restaurant. I was in Dubai recently and found the food to be as expensive as here, but everything they serve you is the highest quality and so good you could die the next day happy! Which is not the case here.“

“Been coming here for nearly 10 years. The owner and manager are extremely friendly. The food is stunningly authentic. No use of tomatoes or new world/cross trade ingredients in the curries all stunningly simple authentic Indian and Pakistani curry’s and barbecued meats with stunning spices and dry rubs. The naan is not fancy, it’s delicious authentic stone naan which can be wrapped and stored for weeks at a time in the right conditions. Everything is cooked fresh to order, if you want a real authentic Indian Experience that has no cross trade or American Influence at incredible prices compared to all other local curry houses, then as a 10 year foodie. Veteran of this stunningly simple restaurant I recommend it with 10 stars

Vegetarian options: Stunning okra masala and incredibly well cooked green peas pullao. Naan bread is FANTASTIC and handmade fresh to order. If you listen carefully you can hear them pounding and shaping each naan in the back kitchen. The chef is WONDERFUL AND FANTASTIC

Parking: Small individual parking lot and one entrance/exit but somehow we always manage to find a space:). Usually over 50 take out orders done a day so there’s usually room and there’s almost always a table or two eating in

Kid-friendliness: We hosted a wonderful party there recently and my dear friends grandchildren were delighted with the fresh real French fries and stunning mango yogurt smoothies. I think the whole pitcher was downed by them in 20 minutes total:):)“

“When I first visited Texas my uncle took me to a Rudy’s near San Antonio, I was vegetarian at the time and cried when I saw shirts that said “I didn’t climb the top of the food chain to eat salad” I fought with my family and stopped talking to my uncle. Now I love to eat meat and Rudy’s is prob my favorite bbq place I have experienced, prob more than smithy’s or those mid central places but it’s a true treat either way and I hope to get some hot sauce at some time!“

Pretty much self-serve for drinks and to go containers. You place your order, find a place to sitnand talk, then come back to pick your order up. The rest is up to you! There is a waitress who comes up to check on you. She was very nice and courteous by asking if we needed her to remove items from the table. The atmosphere was relaxed at lunchtime, but I can see this as a date night destination.
Over all experience was great. Do recommend and it's on our list for repeats.

“My late wife and I have been to both locations of brisket House barbecue. They are located on Woodway in Houston and on Cypress Creek Parkway near FM 1960. I have not been to this location in years since my wife passed away. My brother and I decided to go out to eat Monday, August 11 at the Woodway location. They did not disappoint. Everyone came by and made sure we were doing ok, refilled drinks, removed empty dishes, even offering more banchan when they saw it we had eaten ours. The food was all really good. We ordered a la carte: chicken bulgogi, spicy pork bulgogi, and beef bulgogi, and when we were finished, someone even packed our leftovers for us and brought me some more kimchi to go. The meat came with banchan, salad, rice and a soup. We also tried the seafood pancake, fried dumplings, and japchae. Very happy with all of it!
