“we heard a lot of good things and saw all the posts on social media so we had to come try the food while we were in New Orleans. we pulled up today right at closing time and even though they were already shutting down, they took our order anyway. their customer service is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ + the drinks are SOOO good. the food? BETTER than we expected and we KNEW it’d be good. everything is seasoned just right and has a ton of flavor. i’d come to new orleans JUST to eat here.“

“When we pulled up all I heard was HEYYYY with a wave and a big ass smile! I was surprised to see them on 1960. Yay for me because it’s hittin and close to home!! Today we got the Catfish Fluffy. It has cajun rice, a HUGE piece of fried catfish, topped with crawfish and sausage, and broccoli on the side.

Everything tastes good af! Fish fried hard just like I like it! Next time we will try that oatmeal pie funnel cake🤤.

I see people in the reviews talking about the price. What do you expect when you are getting crawfish AND a piece of fish that covers the plate corner to corner? It’s well worth the money!

“My husband & I have been trying different places every weekend for weeks. We tried this place today. I will start with the appetizer. We had the boudin trio. It was good. It came with a dipping sauce. My husband liked it, I did not. We also ordered the crawfish special buy 5 get 1 free. They were so small. The smallest I have seen all season while other places are large right now. The flavor was great. The 6 lbs was definitely not there. The small bag maybe had 3.5 lbs and that's a big maybe. I don't have a scale but an avid crawfish eater knows what 5/6 lbs should be and this was definitely short on the lbs. this was so disappointing because the size and the full 6 lbs was not there. if the size was bigger and we actually received the full 6 lbs it would have been worth it because the flavor was great“

“Maria is amazing! She go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. The food is great, I love the house sauce. I always get the medium but I have had the mild which is great also. It’s seasoned real good. I was very surprised because other places mild sauce is not seasoned. Everything is always fresh. I have had the boiled seafood, fried seafood there and everything was delicious. Now I’m on the pig feet, potato & corn with the house sauce. Delicious. 5 STARS ⭐️“

“My neighbor called me and wanted fajitas and she wanted to go to Pappasito's Airtex. We are both widows and we had not been to that location in quite a while. We had about a 15 minute wait around 3:45. We got our table and our waiter was quick to attend to us. We got our drinks and appetizers ordered. When he brought our drinks and appetizers to us he took our order, we split an order of beef and chicken fajitas for two with extra rice and charro beans, then he asked if there was anything else we needed. We were fine. Our order came out quickly and he again asked how we were . He was very attentive and very pleasant making sure we were accommodated. As we were finishing our meal, he asked us if we wanted a desert. We were unsure, so he brought out the sample tray. We chose the ice cream balls rolled in coconut and pecans with caramel syrup drizzled on top. OMG, it was awesome. Just to let you know, the last time I was at Pappasitos was at Deerbrook and I took my son out for Father's Day. The service was not good and our waitress was no where to be found until we were ready to leave. My neighbor, June and I were very impressed with our waiter, Noah, and we will be back and will ask for him. He is knowledgeable, attentive, pleasant, professional and is doing a great job as he made our evening into an awesome dining experience He will be an asset to any business because he cares. “Definitely some of the best home cooking from the boot you’ll ever try. She put her foot in every dish. The chef is the nicest most gracious example of a New Orlean that you’ll ever be able to find. I recommend you try everything on the menu. I started with the seafood bake potato and just went down the list on every trip back without disappointment.“
