“My husband and I were driving through Johnson City on our way to Fredericksburg and found this awesome food truck!! You never really know what you’re getting with a random food truck but OMG 😳 I ordered the cast iron hash and my husband ordered the scramble! They both were beyond delicious!!! The layers of flavors were to die for!! What a wonderful experience and a grand surprise! The owners were so very nice! I would recommend this food truck and rate it a 10 out of 10!!! Amazing food and a cute couple as owners! I’m so impressed!”

“Our group of 4 had lunch in the restaurant and it was amazing. We had the Hell Raiser French Dip which was huge and enough to split between two of us. The other couple had the pulled pork sliders and loved them. Our Waitress Michelle was so friendly and professional and made my 61st birthday a very special occasion. I would recommend Carter Creek to anyone. We joined as members there as well.”

“This is worth a stop a bit off the highway. The menu is relatively small, but varied. Everything is cooked to order and fresh. The atmosphere is cool and a nice place to have a slow lunch. Personally, I like the Texas burger, but the risotto and the cowboy burger look very good.”

“Sorry to say but I was disappointed when I got a beans and ? cheese ? taco. Not much flavor to the beans.

But normally I love all of their tacos and they are sweet and personable.

Just bring back the flavor to your beans and my love for your tacos will thrive.

The food was excellent!!
The brisket tacos were SO FAT and tasty. My
Husband had the Frito Pie with brisket. We also had the jalepeno popper queso with the salsa and some jalapeno crema on the side. Idk what it was but it was DAMN good!
Beer was great! Atmosphere felt like a home town bar and it’s good people and good vibes. The owner was there slinging beers and has the best personality!

“It's a long established food trailor that has the very best breakfast tacos and lunch plates in Blanco County. There is a covered area with about eight picnic tables to sit and eat at.”

“Stopped today to eat. First time and was very happy with that food. Brisket was really good, bbq sauce was sweet, Mac n cheese was tasty and appeared homemade. Potato salad was good tho too many onions for me personally but I’ll prob still order it next time. Pinto beans were loaded with meat and had good flavor. The portions were huge and for BBQ the price point was good. My only complaint was the sweet tea needed a LOT more sugar. The pizza looked good so we’ll try that next time. 8/10 will def eat again!”

“Good food and beer but they do charge a rip off credit card junk fee. Be aware. I deal with those junk fees by deducting it off the tip. It is a cost of doing business and needs to be included in the price of the menu items. So no sweat off my back but the server takes one for the owners greed.”

“I was blessed to play here last night. Although the weather was chilly, and the crowd was thin, it was a fun time. The bacon Cheeseburger I got was cooked to perfection and tasted even better. “Great food and atmosphere”

“I hate to admit it but I'm one of the biggest fans of Laredo Taco Company. Anytime there's a stripes close by I'll make sure and make sure I grab one of their barbacoa plates to go. Taco shells are always so thick and soft at the same time. The meat is always so freshly cooked perfectly seasoned and moist and tender. The onions and peppers are firm and moist at the same time and always perfectly cooked as well. The staff is very hard-working and helpful and it just kind of has a small town gas station feel when everybody can come in and get quality food.It's surprising how much food they can put out of such a small kitchen in the corner of a gas station but it just tells you the power of American ingenuity. These places are 10 times better than regular fast food joints and the employees always seem very hard working and happy to see you. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and they will never disappoint!”

“had a nice lunch with the family and enjoyed just about everything! service was friendly and attentive. the atmosphere is simple but warm. our food seemed to take longer than expected for how quiet it was. the pickle chips were great. the bbq was a bit hit or miss though. the beans and potato salad were fine, same with the sausage. the pork ribs were tasty but the brisket was lacking flavor.”

“Much older place, but they have a good selection of food. All day breakfast, good prices, and good taste. We are here Christmas Eve on the way home, and very few places are open, but this place was a good stop. Initially service was good, and food came out quickly... But we had to wait for a while to get the check. All in all, if we are in the area again, I would stop here again to try other things.”
