“Stopped by on the way back from hiking at Cleburne State Park. Menu had a very good variety of choices - our family ordered a few different plates and entrees. “Whoever was working on March 14th, 2024 cooking the chicken fried rice didn’t disappoint! I believe it was a young guy. Everything was cooked and flavored to perfection. Definitely made my day better after eating a good meal.When this place first open I use to get the build your own rice bowl and it was delicious as well. They no longer cook the mushrooms (just throw them in raw) or onions, so I’ve steered away from that dish.Overall I will continue to come here.“
“This was some good BBQ. I had the chopped brisket sandwich and potato salad & both were good. Wife had some sliced brisket and enjoyed that. Another of our party had the sausage and it wasn't that good. Keep in mind bbq taste is mostly a preference and one may like it and another not. I can't comment on the sausage. The peach cobbler was great. We also had the jalapeño poppers which I could have made a meal from...fantastic. I would most definitely try this place again. Heard some foul language coming from the kitchen...don't care for that and makes the place seem a little unprofessional imo.“
“We went in at 7:15.Closed sign was up. Online it says 8pm.The young man came and let us in. We got food to go to help them out, so they could close. The lady wasn't happy at all with us. It was our first time we asked questions about food. My husband is allergic to cinnamon, nuts, etc.She was short with us.But the food was good.“
“On a short road trip we chose this as a lunch spot, having never been. We were pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed our visit here.Decor- 10/10. Clean, open, kind of railroad themed- very well done. Would make a great event spaceFood- we only has brisket nachos but they were excellent. “Sat outside for a late lunch on the front patio with no wait, food came hot and fast. I had probably the best chicken quesadilla I've ever had and hubby's shrimp tacos were delicious. Service was amazing, we will definitely be back for dinner one night.“
“As soon as we walked we were welcomed by the kind workers. The atmosphere is beautiful you can tell they care about cleanliness and good customer service. Lastly the food was delicious my husband ordered the steak and Mac very flavorful and I ordered the chicken fried steak, loaded baked potato, and Brussel sprouts which were very tasty. “I just love it here the food is the just the best place to get good BBQ and if your trying to for the first time great place too ima a very picky food person and this place made me want to try new things, and I love the brisket DEFINITELY recommend for first time the beans are great ima very very picky when it comes to my beans and finally got the gut to try then and was so mad I didn't eat them the first time lol, and I definitely recommend the Mac n cheese it's the best nothing can top it for me and has a great atmosphere love the workers there they are so nice and kind and also the fries there are sooo good I didn't know they had them there till I saw someone with them and had to go bad and get more I also like that they don't charge for extra bread and just love it there definitely a good first BBQ in Texas place to go to.Parking: Parking can be easy to find u just need to go at the right time but lunch and dinner is definitely the most busiest times, but u can still find parking easily.Kid-friendliness: Yes is definitely kid friendly and doesn't ignore the kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes definitely wheelchair accessible and is a open concept place.“
“This place was great! The staff was amazing and the owner/manager was super helpful since it was my first experience. He recommended the tacos since it would allow me to try several meats, and the tortillas are made from scratch.This was perfect! The steak was my favorite!The success and salsas were also housemade and it was tough to choose, but my favorite was the green Chilli salsa.This is a different concept twist on a BBQ place!I was recommended, and was pleased, you will be too! And then said that if we wanted a refill to let him know...i mean, who does that!? “This is my 2nd time here this week. I picked up at exactly 9pm. However I specifically asked for peppered sausage and got a normal Echrich sausage. I'm very pregnant and very disappointed. I love the peppered sausage. This is so regular and lack luster. I picked BBQ for a reason. I could have bought this from Walmart. I'm less bothered by the cold food which happens occasionally here. But at least give me the right meat. This order was $73. My last was the same. So I don't feel bad in voicing my issue. I just hate this cannot be resolved tonight.“

I recommend to go before 6pm for some reason the meat is not as good as the earlier hours. Good atmosphere to bring the family with bench seating. Just like going to a family bbq. “This was our first time and we weren't greeted when we got to the counter. We looked at the menu. The employees just stared at us waiting to order. No hello, no can we help you, nothing. Finally one of the ladies said "I can take your order when you're ready". But nothing more than that. The food was AH-MAZING. The sausage and smoked turkey were great. Will go back but probably just take our food to go. Dine in wasnt much to be desired.“

“We saw a great facebook review for these guys and decided to try it for ourselves. Went there on 3/13/24 and the food was VERY good. My husband had the rib place and I had the cheeseburger. Everything was great and the service and friendliness of the staff was wonderful. We will definitely be back sooner rather than later!“
