They can use some service planning while making more money and helping hungry traveler: 1) Add a sign so customers know where to order. 2) Cook pasta in advance and nuke it when ordered. 3) Pizza: Have cheese and pepperoni ready to go. It's what most people want.“
“I ordered one Al Pastor and two Steak Taco. The order came.out within a few minutes. Tortillas appeared to be hand made and tasted very good. They were perfectly seasoned, served hot and slightly spicy. The server brought three different sauces with the tacos to the table. The staff was very friendly, everything was clean. Seating is available inside and outside. This is a food trailer. We will be back.“
“This was the 2nd time I've been, it was Friday and packed... But was able to get a table and just barely got the 1/2 priced app in! Got the combo fajitas, and the brown sauce they bring with it is devine! I like onions fully cooked and they are the only place I've found where they are caramelized and soft! The green salsa is so yummy. Ended with Tres leches and it was very tasty, and coated in milk. I definitely recommend this place! Also had Cade as our server, he was fantastic, very attentive, personable and made us laugh. Overall a great time tonight, even though a wait. Good job guys, y'all made a great impression!“

“I went this morning for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. We had a chorizo and egg plate, barbacoa tacos, and some other breakfast tacos. They were all delicious! The salsa wasn’t spicy, so we asked for a hotter one and wow, that was spicy, but good! The service was good and SUPER FAST. It only took like 5 minutes to get our food. Very impressed ?“

“Food was good. But music was SOOOOOO loud. Made the meal not enjoyable for my husband. We asked if there was any way to turn down just a smidge (because we knew it was Friday night). Our waitress, Laura S. was really working hard & did a great job! Chimichanga, with fajita chicken & Suiza sauce, was good . Chicken fajitas were good also. Like the beans & chips! If we go back (it is a little far from our house), it will be on a weeknight, so it won't be so loud.“

“Been going to Texican Cafe for years now. It's right by a Serrano's which I would give a 4 star review as well so let me sum this up. While a place like Serrano's might have some great meals and is a bit fancier. Texican Cafe has more if a down home feel and very comfortable menu. They have your migas, enchiladas, and stuffed peppers, but wafting thru the air is the wonderful smell if fajitas. They have all kinds of sauces and they bring the heat with several offerings. There's plenty of choices, often a short wait even when it's full, a bar, and cool atmosphere. It's a solid 3 and a half but if I were leaning towards 3 or 4 I'd go with 4 because I love their Texican nachos loaded with everything and think they have a great chip. I love enchiladas and you can't go wrong there. I don't even have to think about it. I do the sampler or some sour cream chicken and they come with tons of refried beans and rice. I've never once left hungry and more often than not walk out 5lbs heavier than when I walked in. Could the inside use an update? Sure. Are there sometimes when it's packed and there's a 10 minute wait...yes but not 30 or 40. It's just good Tex Mex when I don't want a fancy menu or drinks and want to get out with a family of 4 or 5 for under 100 bucks. In a good location with easy parking too!Cheers!Kid-friendliness: Have a kids menu, easy to make substitutions for most meals, not a "bar" scene. People bring their kids because it's family dining all the time.“

“Recently moved to Liberty Hill, so been trying to find a good little taco spot. I read the reviews and decided to come by. At first, I was not sure because I have not had tacos from a gas station restaurant. Nonetheless I gave it a shot and I must say 10/10 would recommend. Tried a few different tacos and all were excellent. The green salsa is perfect. Not too spicy but not bland either . Also, the horchata was fire ?definitely will be coming back in the future.“
“Love their Pollo Loco. Last time thighs were smaller, onions were more like a garnish rather than a bed of onions, no green peppers. Slowly Pollo Loco is changing to much less than it used to be. Still love the flavor though. I like I can get a side of queso rather than the full appetizer.“

“All right, how is it that I have lived so close to this place for several years and I'm just now trying them out??? Yes, they literally are a little counter inside of the gas station on the corner of Highway 29, but wow the food was really good. Definitely will be coming here on the regular for breakfast tacos and I look forward to trying some of the other Mexican food items.“
“My husband loves this place. He would often stop by to grab their Philly cheese steak sandwich, while on break. I admit I was a bit jealous and had to try. Its a truck stoppy, kind of scene. Lots of customers weaving in and out grabbing snacks and food. They did not disappoint! The sandwich as HUGE and delicious. So good. I recommend 10/10. Service was quick and easy. Staff was nice. Store and bathroom were clean. Overall great place to stop in. Oh, and they had other food. I'll be back to check that out!“
“First time here. Had breakfast. Eggs benidict was great. Hash browns good. Pancakes and bacon good. Prices good. Everything was good except the service. My coffee cup was empty for 10 min. Took a long time to bring check. It was then 10-15 min before she came back to get out payment. Looking around we see other tables with different waitresses getting great service.One of the cooks in the kitchen was singing in Spanish for all of us to hear. Someone kept whistling. Not sure if it was an employee or customer. Either way, it was rude and annoying.“

The service was great for only one waiter but restaurant was also slow for Saturday around 4pm. Only 3 tables with guest. The waiter was very polite and professional. “We went here for dinner on a Tuesday for their taco Tuesday special. The restaurant was pretty busy but these guys have their stuff together. We waited in line to order for maybe 3-5 minutes and our food was ready in another 5-10 minutes tops! With two drinks and the taco plate special it was $22. The tacos were pretty good too! The plate came with 3 beef tacos, rice and refried beans. They have a salsa bar if you need extra sauce or order chips.We will definitely be back for the Tuesday special again!!“
