The food is somehow better, maybe fresher. I grew up on Bush's Chicken in Waco and it's always been a staple for me. I was excited to know I had one nearby.“
“It's so good! I really wanted chicken tenders and my husband decided to stop here. We are not spicy people but he ordered the 10 piece with no spice and lite mild. They were both good! The chicken is juicy without being greasy. The fries have a good flavor with a little kick. The tenders are huge, like I was thinking a 4 pack but 2 were satisfying! I would definitely stop here again.“
“We ordered the 8 pieces with Mac n cheese and Okra. Chicken is fried differently, may be air fried. Definitely not regular crunchy fried chicken. Nonetheless, it was still very good and spicy. Our server Allie was super sweet and helpful it was our first time there and she was really great at explaining the menu. Didn’t have all of the beers available on tap and the I wish they had spicier wing sauce but that’s just personal preference. But over all nice spot would go back again.“

Had it first in Houston but just haven’t had it in a while since it’s not so accessible in Austin. Everything was as tasty as I remember! The spicy chicken was crunchy and definitely spicy! The adobo rice wasn’t as adobo-y as I’d like it to be. It was mostly just garlic rice which I was fine with. The pineapple quencher was refreshing! And the peach mango pie was warm, crunchy, and tasty. It was definitely worth the trip to come all the way down for Jollibee!“
“The chicken is delicious, tender and juicy. The meal came w/ rice (standard), half grilled onion and a roasted jalapeño. The two salsa flavors tasted fresh; one slightly traditional red and a creamy green. I ordered beans which were above average imo although personally i could do w/o the chicharron. Highly recommend.“

Crinkle cut fries are the best item on the menu. The sandwich is good with the brioche bun and the lettuce, but the fingers sometimes fall out. The toast, especially if you order Bob (buttered on both sides), is a must try.The tea and lemonade are in an aerator, so they always taste freshly made. Ask for lemon for your tea. Also, they have honey mustard, made in the house in case you prefer that to dip your tenders in. You have to ask for it. Restaurant is clean but noisy.“

That was the ulterior motive for me to visit Cane's, but I also really enjoyed the food. The chicken tenders were smoking hot and delicious with the Cane sauce. Would definitely go back.“
“The only reason I am not giving this four stars is, because once out of the few times I have been there, the ketchup machine was broken and when I asked for ketchup packets, they simply stated they would fix it in a few moments. Plus when I ordered my sandwich on this day, it was light on the canes sauce. That’s not a big enough deal for me to complain, but I would feel a little excessive if I gave it a perfect score knowing that 25% of my visits Were lesson satisfactory in my opinion. Other than that, the service is always super quick, and the chicken is super fresh, hot, and crispy. Sweet tea is never old and always perfectly sweetened to my liking, but I know that varies from person to person. I genuinely feel confident that every time I go here, I’ll have a good meal. “My experience was overall a good one. We arrived for an early dinner on a Thursday. The restaurant was devoid of customers, which is often a red flag. The dining area (and restrooms) were tidy and clean. We would later realize (from a posted sign), this establishment is part of a national chain from Mexico that has over 500 locations. This served to offer some reassurance.We ordered a family combo and a chicken sandwich. The family combo included a whole chicken, flautas, and one side (we selected potatoes). The whole chicken was roasted and somewhat small. But, contrary to what other have claimed, it was not bland. It was well seasoned and very flavorful. The flautas were fresh and appeared to be hand-made in-store (not frozen). The side of potatoes were actual whole potatoes. They were mediums sized and well seasoned (we had more than enough potato leftover to make potato and egg tacos the next morning). The chicken sandwich was by far my favorite part. The bread had a hint of sweetness and the meat quality/size was comparable to many of the other chain restaurants that joined the chicken sandwich bandwagon. The unique feature was the layer of coleslaw within the sandwich (big fan of coleslaw). It made for a unique taste.The biggest disappointment was the lack of a soda fountain machine. The only soda (Pepsi products) available was in 20oz or 2L size. Furthermore, the menu shows ice-cream shakes, but we were told this is a discontinued item. Also, substitutions are not allowed. Finally, be sure to check your items with to-go and drive-thru orders. During my first visit, I was missing the tortillas & salsa (from family combo). My second visit, I was missing my 20oz soda.Parking: About 10 parking spots available.“

“For a newly rebuilt restraunt it's atmosphere was great the service was great. But by no means were they fast at their job, & at that I would not want to wait around to re-do my order. The fries were cold by the time I got home and I only live 2 minutes from there. So nothing against the employees at this point in time, they just reopened. I just wasn't happy with part of my meal cold.“
