“Food is delicious, great service!“

“First time dining at Fish City Grill at 7010 W Loop 1604 N and could not have been happier with the food, service and all-around experience. My wife and I were eating out on our 22nd wedding anniversary and chose this location based on the online menu and reviews. She had the blackened cobia tacos on the special of the day menu and I had the fried seafood platter. Both were excellent as was the shrimp and crab queso appetizer. In addition, our waiter brought us a free sampler that included the roasted jalapeno soup, crab bisque, clam chowder and gumbo. All were delicious. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive throughout our meal and presented us with a 20% off coupon for our next visit. We were surprised that the place was not more crowded than it was on a Saturday evening, because the food and overall experience should be attracting a big clientele. Again, thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful dining experience. And for anyone thinking about visiting, don't hesitate. You're missing a great meal at a very reasonable price.“

“The service was top notch and the food was great although the atmosphere was loud and all the tables where we were sitting at were really close to each other. You could literally hear the conversations around you. We had a family next to us with a family of 6 with 2 small children yelling and walking around the table bare footed. Nonetheless, we enjoyed out dinner / celebration as best as we could. Grateful still.“

If like me Louisiana or Carolinas is family home-base then l'd say 3.5, it's spicy, broth is right. If atmosphere helps your food go down order To-go! “I Been there a couple times, the food is great as well as the service!“

“Much to my surprise I discovered a Bayseas in my neck of the woods vs the nacogdoches location I'm familiar with. An early afternoon visit equaled a very quiet atmosphere. The restaurant was clean, the young lady at the counter was polite and I was greeted upon entry. I ordered a togo order of a small gumbo and catfish special plate for my wife and I to share and waited. While waiting another party came in, ordered, sat down and within a few minutes my name was called and my order was ready. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious! Compared to my usual Bayseas, there was no drop in service, portion sizes or quality. 5 stars through and through!!“

“Second time getting my crawfish from here and didn’t disappoint. The size of the graded were great and didn’t lose but about 5 in our sack. The field run were decent as well did have lots of small ones and lost maybe 5 in that sack. I will say the graded are def worth the price. Def will be doing more boils next crawfish season.“

“We finally came back after about 4 years, thanks to seeing SA Live there yesterday. We were never going to set foot in that restaurant again with the horrible service, sub-par food, 3% credit card fee (still exists) and a poor attitude from the lady we were giving our hard earned money to at the register. Today, we were greeted by Jannita who's been serving folks for 26 years here. She was extremely delightful and showed that she loves her job through and through. She has a true pride and purpose in helping those she serves to ensure they're satisfied and happy with their meal. The food was good and better than expected. I had the fried fish & shrimp (shrimp was a little over cooked since they're so small) and hubby had a late breakfast which he said was great (other than the tiny pieces of bacon served on his plate, they should get more quality bacon😉) After our meal, I'm glad to say that we revisited and have decided that we will return in the near future. This family owned restaurant has truly stepped up their game for sure!!“

The Insalata Caprese was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted! I had the Pollo Bronx Parmigiana and my husband had Fettuccine di Parma with shrimp. The portions are huge!!! Can’t wait to go back!! (Store 3#) me and my cousin just got out of an 11 hour shift n wanted to make a quick stop by somewhere close to me, which is the store on marbach not this store. And the lady had a very disgusting attitude so we left and decided we will take the drive and come to this store right before we got in the drive thru I remember my cousin saying I never have a problem here so i didn’t really mind the drive either. Ms. Cat had took our order and since we had a long day we kind of accidentally got her confused with our order but Cat had the up most respect and patience she kindly corrected our order the food and service was good. She had our order out fast she is a 5 star worker and I pray that God blesses her. I will take the longer drive to store 3 any day because of her good customer service!“

“This location does not have a drive thru but still great for pick up only. Though the parking lot layout is a bit strange there are plenty of parking spots for normal business traffic.

The kitchen appears to be clean and the front waiting area feels a little dated.
A little love to the front would make the waiting experience a bit more pleasing but the food never disappoints.“

“My wife and I have been married 6 months, together a total 11 years and yesterday was our 11 year anniversary. We wanted to try something different for a very special occasion so we both agreed on Smashin Crab. This was the BEST customer service we have ever received at any establishment. Our waitress Amanda was SUPER friendly, took the time to explain the menu to us, checked up on us frequently, always carried a smile when she came to our table and had such a great attitude! Unexpectedly, when we were done with our food our waitress brought us a desert for us to celebrate our anniversary. The manager was super friendly as well, checked up on us towards the end and made sure to talk to us again before we actually left, we asked if we liked the desert and we thank him multiple times for that gesture. My wife and I can’t wait to go back again!!! Thank y’all so much for a great experience!!“

Large choice of entrees, veggies, nice desserts and daily specials which always contain soup. Not the fanciest place in town, but a good place on the Southside. I've come back several times from Seguin and will continue to do so. The juke boxes on the booths are a blast from the past. Large screen televisions are nice, too.“
