I would give this place another try. I thought the pricing seemed pretty reasonable and the service was good. If this was closer to my house I could see going here from time to time.

As far as strip mall sushi goes this place checks a lot of boxes.“

The killer roll was our favorite but the Hawaii, Panic roll and golden Cali were amazing. Service from Ngun was excellent and we spoke with Kim the owner 2 or 3 times as she worked the room. Clearly this is why 23 years success in the food business.“

“Today after Meow Wolf and heading back to Oklahoma we found this gem for a late lunch. 💯 reccomend! We had Oysters Rockefeller, Nikko Tuna Tower, and Terriaki Salmon, then pressed coffee, every bit of our experience was spot on and everything was delicious!!“

“Same great quality and service as always from The Blue Fish. Server said this is their concept restaurant since the one at Frankford/Tollway closed. Hand rolls are interesting and very good. 3 for $22 plus you get a side salad. Restaurant was quiet at 7pm and got busy at 9pm on a Saturday night. Largest table size we saw was a 4-top so you'd need to call ahead if you have a large group that needs tables put together. Tight parking but that goes for this entire shopping center. We drive over from Ft. Worth because we love The Blue Fish so much. 🩵“

The staff are amazing, whether hostess, wait staff, Sushi chefs, even the bus crew everyone is friendly and professional. Patrick is eager to tell you about the food as much as he is about how he and the rest of the chefs have all been friends for years. This is the type of place that you keep going back because it is always amazing!“

Sushi was standout and priced fairly. Would absolutely recommend eating here.
Staff are also incredibly friendly and they even have a fun cotton candy machine at the entrance for free.“

The food was absolutely amazing however, we didn't try many of the rolls due to lack of pictures of them & uncertainty about if we'd like them based off just a list of ingredients. Additionally, we found it strange to have the waitstaff lined up against the sushi bar just staring at us as we ate. It was kinda unnerving. The hibachi was some of the best I'd ever had. Definitely a fair price for the quality of food.“

“Me and my gf all go here. Remind you is it not hibachi place where you do not sit down and they cook in front of you, they cook hibachi to go orders only. They are the best! I get the shrimp and steak with vegatvle, and rice with yum yum sauce! Fresh cooked, the guys are sweet. We highly recommend here.!“

“GREATEST. TERIYAKI. EVER. And friend, they know it. They are so good they only have to be open for lunch. It's incredible. I am in love with this place. If I have the money, I would beg them to let me franchise this place. It is too good. You could open up one of these anywhere in America and it would just crush it.

When I was young, and I only had a bike, I worked in a warehouse about 2 miles from here. Even in the Texas summer I was happy to make the ride here at least twice a week for lunch. I still try to stop here if I am ever anywhere nearby at lunch.

“My coworker introduced me to this place, so I went there for lunch.
I think I'll be using it often in the future. The price is really the best. Fried rice is under $10. Most of the food is around $10, so it's really cheap.
The amount of food for one person is enough for two. The taste is also excellent.
The side dishes change constantly.
Since it is self-service, there is less burden on tipping.
There is nothing lacking.“

“First time here, our chef put so much salt on the rice and steak it was hard to eat. When I say so much I mean so much. He also made some off color comments that weren’t appropriate while cooking the food. I will come again to see if it still holds true.“

The kids got a big kick out of sitting on floor pillows for dinner. The menu is extensive with Korean and Japanese items — including hibachi and sushi! Everything is reasonably priced and is meant to be a fast casual dine-in or takeout spot. So Carrollton folks — if you find yourself going to Sushi Kadan or another neighborhood joint — try this one out too! We have another spot for a tasty and healthy dinner. Kid friendly too! Francisco was our server and he is very attentive, kind, professional and friendly. Excellent service.

Our food was delicious. We shared crab raccoons, which were delicious and creamy.. edamame was perfect.
Francisco recommended the shaken beef when I asked him which I should choose between the shaken beef and the Mongolian beef. He was patient with all of the request from the table at a very busy time.
I tasted my friend’s chicken Pho which was so good that I ordered one to go . Francisco made sure everything was packaged up nicely for her to go orders. He was on top of refills clearing the table making sure to check in on us frequently.
