“I visited this place once with my partner back in winter of 2024, and returned today for a Mother’s Day dinner with my mom.

Their menu changes seasonally, which I find unique. They also boast all the ingredients being locally sourced, which is also a fun concept.

Note that parking can be limited, and you may need to park along the roads alongside.

Our waitress was kind and welcoming for Mother’s Day. We tried the chicken & spaetzel for my mom and the 1843 filet for myself. My steak was cooked well, I just wish it had been a bit more flavorful. My mom really liked her dish and I did as well. The chicken in particular was lovely. It did take us over 45 min to receive our food, but I attribute that to the busy holiday.

The choco pie was huge and worth the amount I paid for it. The crust was prone to falling apart though so be prepared to make a mess!

Speaking on my memories from 2 years ago, I’d gotten chicken piccata which had a sauce similar to the spaetzel. It was much better this time around, and didn’t have red pepper, which I strongly dislike. The concept was very similar. At the time, my partner had gotten a meat pie of some kind that he still raves about. This was winter 2024, so not the same menu.

Overall, it’s a cute place and a cute concept. Note that A) this is not the place for someone picky, as the dishes are a bit experimental, and B) the prices are a bit above average. More of a special occasion type of place. Make sure you make a reservation!“

“I reserved the upstairs level for a private birthday dinner for my husband. We had 16 guests and everyone commented on the cool and fun vibe of the restaurant. The food, drinks, and service were all excellent. The manager, Michael, was very accommodating from initial booking to the night of our event. He made sure we had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Snowbird Cocktail Lounge & Kitchen. They also have a really great weekday happy hour! We will be back!“

“We held our end of year dinner for a middle school cheer team and Mike was amazing to work with. We arrived and met with one of our servers right away who helped us set up the area like we wanted. We had 2 servers and they were both attentive, the food came out quickly and delicious like any other time we’ve visited the establishment. I love this place and the fresh made from scratch food. The Summer Berry Salad, Steak Sandwich are a few of my favorites! I don’t think you can go wrong by ordering anything on the menu. The girls and parents had an amazing time!“

“Came here for the first time on what ended up being an absolutely Gorgeous Sunday. We chose outdoor seating, and were delighted to have Bentley as our Server. I was a bit overwhelmed by the numerous options available to me (as a vegetarian for 30+ years, usually a fairly limited selection at a burger joint), but Bentley reassured me I could build any combination I’d like. I went with the Vegan Patty (freshly made in house), w/cheddar cheese, crispy onion straws, ketchup, lettuce & jalapeño chutney on the side. It was Effing PERFECTION! Jordan provided outstanding service. The food & drinks were exemplary. Highly recommend the Ginger Mule, Lemon Drop Martini, Prawn Pad Thai, Sticky rice, and Grilled Pork Spare Ribs! “The snow globe dome was an absolutely magical setting, beautifully decorated with festive Christmas décor that instantly put us in the holiday spirit. The ambiance was cozy and warm, thanks to the firepit inside, which made the experience even more enjoyable on a chilly evening. The charcuterie board was well-prepared with a great variety of meats, cheeses, and accompaniments, and the bottle of prosecco added a perfect celebratory touch. “This just might be my new favorite place in Dallas. Everything was amazing from the service to the food. Blake was our server and she was absolutely incredible!! We tried a few different dishes and each one was a hit. Oxtail Empanadas: juicy and flavorful. Catfish and grits: grits were creamy and the fish was fried hard. Miami wings: flavor was 10/10 and they were cooked perfectly. Lamb: so tender and flavorful. Dessert: peach cobbler pound cake, OMG, I can pull up just for that alone. I can’t wait to return because everything was so good.“

It would have been helpful, however, to know in advance what was being served (& where with multiple stations spread over a huge ballroom) or at least a menu/directory upon arrival! Or even signage at each station that was larger than 8.5” x 11” on pale paper/ink. Alcohol was the biggest problem. NO notice before that the bar is CASH ONLY/NO Credit Card!! AND no room charge available if staying at the resort. Serious mistake here. All this beautiful food with no wine etc unless you happened to bring wads of cash for $17/glass + a tip. CHANGE THIS! The eggs benie over crabcake were sublime as was the prime rib. Sushi rolls were a nice touch, too. Outstanding Experience other than figuring out how to weed thru everything presented & needing CASH to order a drink.“

We went there and it was my sons 4th birthday and they made the experience something that I (36) never have experienced at a restaurant. “This is a small but quant corner, you have a variety of stores Tom Thumb being one of them. Then you have numerous eating places like on the border, some kind of Chinese one on the same square as On The Border and many others. Plus you have Chase Bank. You can get in and out from three different sides, coming off of the Dallas Tollway, Parker road or the first street after the Tollway. Makes it convenient and fast to get in and out of there.“

“Easily the best ramen I've had in the Collin County area. Hell even the price has beaten inflation! You can't get any better ramen by far. Their broth is just simply different. The noodles are the best rice noodles I've ever have. And this place stays open till 2 am everday?? It's heaven for late night folks. Definitely one of the best restaurants around in general.
