“The food is amazingly delicious, very authentic. I am Mexican and have lived in many major cities (military) and am always looking for that close to home nostalgic Mexican taste. I have found it here , finally! The owners/ staff are so kind, friendly and attentive. Their salsas are very spicy in a good way . The tortillas are always fresh and perfectly cooked. It’s our new go to place on Saturdays. A hidden gem.“

“Ordered through the app. Picked it up via the drive thru. Have to navigate the app to find if there are any deals, otherwise it was simple and worked well. The employee helping us at the store was an older gentleman and he was very nice, easy to understand, and wanted to make sure our food was correct. It was and we went on our drive. Food was good. “I'm not exaggerating when I say this is my favorite place to eat in San Antonio. Located near the airport in a tucked away location, RO-HO Pork & Bread is a hidden gem. This is comfort food at it's finest. Ro-Ho has many great things on the menu, but they are best known for their Torta Ahogada, and it's what I get almost every time. The torta is always hot, the carnitas cooked to perfection, and the tomato salsa is to die for. You can get the torta with straight carnitas or you can mix it up with carnitas, pork stomach and skin, which is what I usually get. The torta also comes with cabbage, onion, radish and lime. No matter how you order it, it's going to be great! The place is super cool, with Mexican artwork and music. There is inside seating and an outside covered patio as well. Everything you can get to drink from the cold case is always ice cold. And they serve one of my favorite Mexican beers, Victoria. Chef Rojo is often around and greets customers. The ladies that work the register and food line are so friendly, and will answer questions if it's your first time. The place fills up quickly at lunch, so keep that in mind. I drive clear across town for my Torta Ahogada fix, if that says anything! Check this place out!“

“Used them for a teacher luncheon and they delivered to our school. The elevator was broken and the two ladies carried trays and huge coolers up 2 high flights of stairs at least 7 times up and down. I get exhausted going up once. They had the most pleasant attitude.The food was delicious and the presentation of the trays and warmers was perfect! “My Dad & I recently ate there this last Saturday evening. We have been searching for a good mexican food restaurant after El Ranchito's closed in Seguin. That was my go to restaurant for my 92 year old Dad for 40 years. He ordered the Mexican plate and was delighted everything was delicious. “This was my first visit to this establishment, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the food very good. The cheese enchiladas have a sauce that's more like mole, with a good kick. While not pictured, the Birria tacos were very tasty. I sampled the goat, and my father enjoyed that dish quite a bit. My mother lamented the lack of more chicharrones on her plate, but ended up taking half home because the portion was so large.
