“I ordered a 12 oz. New York Strip tonight on New Year's Eve. I ordered it medium, when it came out I asked for it to be cooked a tiny bit more. When they brought it out again, she asked me to cut into it. I tried but the entire steak was hard to cut and beyond even being well done. I didn't eat it. I ate mashed potatoes and the salad, that's all. I was really looking forward to a good steak tonight. 😒”

“We stopped by on March 10th while our two college kids and HS kiddo were on Spring Break. Everyone loved their treats. From ice cream, shakes or just a bottle of root beer. My boys challenged each other to checkers and arcade game. From nostalgic games and candy to just sitting back and relaxing, the whole place was just a vibe. We will def be back again.”

“I had the country sour dough and i was confused it didn't taste like sour dough, the bread was not bad but definitely not sourdough. I want to try their Rye bread. I ate the whole loaf of Country sourdough and it was good, but am still searching for real sourdough”

“.My family has been going to this Olive Garden for nearly 10 years. We had only had two issues our entire time going to this establishment. One being, we had simply horrible service from an employee named “Jae.” We had a medium sized group come in a few weeks prior and we were incredibly disappointed. He did not bring drinks in a timely manner, acted as if WE were inconveniencing HIM, and got 4/8 dishes wrong. The next time we went, we were sat with him again. My husband went to the hostess and asked her if we could have a different server. She was immediately on it, apologized for the previous experience, got her manager and an another server to our table immediately. She also offered to get us our drinks, salads and soups and get our order started right away. I think her name was Megan? She told us that she was sorry for the poor experience before and that it was not acceptable. She seemed very eager to help and turned our experience into a positive one, just on attitude alone! Very sweet girl. Something mr “Jae” could definitely learn from. Our server Skylar was also excellent, everything was brought out on time AND CORRECT! Thank you Megan and Skylar!”

“so glad we found this hidden gem...they close at 3 and we arrived after 2. everything was fresh...buffet was well stocked with homemade food...everything tidy...we were not rushed...when we left there was people still eating and the buffet was still fully stocked...they did not start breaking it down or asking people if they were finished. awesome job”

“What can I say about this place?! WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!! I was visiting from Alexandria, Louisiana with a friend who grew up in Lufkin and she suggested this place and boy I am so glad she did! The place is very clean and the people are quite friendly. Our order was ready in minutes and the food. OH MY GOSH, THE FOOD!!!!!!!! I have no words. All I can say is IT WAS A BLESSING TO THE SOUL!!!!!!!!! Next time I am in Lufkin, this will be the go-to place.”

“Got a party platter instead of cooking after work for special guests. The food was, as always, GREAT! Super reasonable, ready on time, packaged very well, some of the containers I saved for Meal Prep, and it was way more than enough for 5 people. All the fixings and queso were included, even the super hot boom sauce that we love! 10 out of 10 recommend!”

I had the carne guisada with cheese enchiladas. It was excellent,would buy it again. The chips and salsa were adequate but not exceptional. Prices excellent, clean. Good value and good food. My wife wants to try something different next time that isn't chicken.”

“The place might not be much to look at, but the sweet Mexican bread is hands down the best I've had in East Texas! The coffee is amazing too! We tried the cappuccino and the mocha mint, both delicious. The staff at the store and coffee bar are super kind and welcoming. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by, you won’t regret it. I’d happily swing by again to grab some bread and enjoy it while strolling through a nearby park 🤗… I had already finished my coffee before getting a nice picture 😆”

“this review is for the new Rexburg location in Mother hibbards have stopped in there four times within the last week to try the food and they never have anything in the warmer. no pizzas nothing. I went in there tonight. no food in the warmer. the kids that work there are sitting on the floor up against the wall doing absolutely nothing. Do they only serve Pizza at lunch and zero food for dinner? there's nothing anywhere that says what times they have food what time? they don't have food so tonight I went from hangar 54 right over to Valley wide and got me a personal pizza and now I'm headed to work.”

“Prices of drinks are on par to other bars. There are only two pool tables. You're left alone. I didn't like that if you don't have money to put in the juke box, no music will be played at all. Other than that, it's basic and thankfully there is no cover charge.”

Everyone in the restaurant welcomed us and were very friendly. We ordered chicken strips and the cobb salad. They were delicious. Also, we wanted to try their peach shake and were so glad that we did. It was wonderful. We wanted to give a shout out to an employee named Melinda, who was very professional and answered all our questions. We certainly enjoyed our time spent talking to her. “I’ve always enjoyed CrackerBarrel shopping and the food. Food use to be good. Last 3 times we have been to Lufkin Cracker Barrel the food was no good not worth the money or my time. This last visit when we finally got some one’s attention to get butter for our now cold food and also under cooked food. The girl brought a hand full of butter with two or three that were already used. I normally take my mother there but I doubt I will go back u til they get better qualiity all the way around.”

They really go above and beyond here! 😊”
