“I was sent for work here in Austin from the Waco area and found this gem. Since I'm on a restrictive diet, I googled and found Hippy Eats! I have never had a falafel before but was not disappointed. Jason was nice and easy to talk to and went above and beyond in every aspect of the experience. He even enhanced my falafel with extras (we'll call it a secret menu item for now). “We were visiting Austin from Colorado and any time I go to a new location I like to try Vietnamese food in that new location. Generally I like to get Pho, but since Austin is so hot I chose not to. I got a grilled chicken rice noodle bowl and it was delicious! My girlfriend got a Tofu rice noodle bowl and she said the tofu was seasoned incredibly well and it was the favorite food she had during our stay in Austin.“

“For our 101st 'cue stop in Texas, we stopped by this food truck on a Saturday morning. It was not at all busy, in sharp contrast to several of the other outlets in the court. We laid out $43.40 to purchase 2 biscuits with brisket and smoked strawberry jam. We added hash browns to each order ( 2 wedges per order). Although the biscuit was quite dry, the brisket was well prepared, and the smoked strawberry jam a real treat. But no plastic utensils were supplied, so we ended up scooping the jam up with our fingers. Bring your own utensils with you if you choose to visit! We're glad we came, but the price point struck us as very, very high for what we received-- too high for our wallets to absorb a second time.“

“Got the classic and the sincronizada burgers and they were awesome. The classic had their special sauce and was juice and very well seasoned. The sincronizada was a very interesting mix of a burger and a taco. The chorizo did not overpower the whole burger and it had a tortilla inside the burger, very creative mix of flavors, would recommend if you are feeling adventurous and want to try a different style burger. The fries were nice and crispy, not soggy and well seasoned.“

“Excellent burger and fries. The burger was sooooo juicy and bun was perfect. The battered fries were to die for. It was a hot day but most tables were in shade and there were fans around so the heat wasn’t really a big deal. “Mannnnn tried these tacos for the first time today absolutely delicious. These tacos are heavier than they look they are stuffed to the max with beef n cheese, I couldn't make it to the 4th taco I was too full. LOTS of cilantro, onions, and lime on the side so you can use as much or as little as you want in each taco. A very big cup of broth you will not run out if you soak every bite. I paid about $18 for this plate including tax and tip. Probably the best taco I've had from a food truck I gotta say. There's a lot going on in every bite multiple flavors all blended together perfectly.“

I spent 3 months in Taiwan before moving to Austin and was craving some Taiwanese fried chicken and this hit the spot. “Wow wow wow. This place is truly a gem. I know there are a million taco trucks in Austin, but this one is pretty special.

We stopped in and split a few different tacos: chicharron and egg, al pastor, migas, and chorizo/egg/cactus. The chicharron was really tender and went well with the egg. The pastor was crazy good. It was shredded and had a lovely marinade and pineapple flavor. The chorizo was fantastic because it wasn't super greasy. Finally, the migas was super good and came with their homemade refried beans. I'm pretty sure the tortillas were homemade or at least tasted like they were. Their three salsas were really great too.

The older lady working the truck is so sweet. She gave us great service and cooked up ridiculously good food. It's like someone's little abuelita made us our meal. :)

We will 100% be returning for more.

As another google reviewer previously mentioned, this taco truck was featured on JOLLY's YouTube channel.
The truck has it's own location surrounded by a good amount of seating where guests can converse and watch a movie on one of their dozen or so screens. A great vibe for the family (21 or older).
We ordered the 8 tacos and a side of their elote. The tacos are ridiculously small, but packed with plenty of flavor with no sauce needed, but if you do need sauce, then I reccomend their green!
The elote was good, and two people can split.
I am satisfied with our experience and I do reccomend giving them a try. Also, the prices are actually not bad.

“Great food, superb costumer service. The food was very tasty. My wife and I had carne bistec tacos, al pastor tacos and barbacoa tacos. The barbacia was nice and not greasy. Biotechnology was cut small and thin, very soft. The pastor tacos were tasty too. Highly recommended!“

With fresh roasted beans- you really can't go wrong! This coffee truck is nestled behind Willie's joint, it's a little awkward to turn left out of the lot on a school morning but definitely worth the traffic!!! I definitely try to make a point to swing by (when I leave my house on time!!) to grab coffee before work. No personal recommendations other than try it all at least once!“
